Absolutely dire. I will tell everyone how awful this is in hosting the Australian Open.
How to improve? Put the matches available to be watched in date order. Possibly into men's/ women's/ doubles categories etc. If you have 16 channels available why not show a replay on each rather than one highlight channel that only shows one match after another meaning you have to wait hours to watch the one you want and that is a lucky guess as there is no running order given. Truly dreadful. Promoted as no adverts but there are. Completed matches not put on replay promptly and some not replayed at all. Again with 16 channels available why the same match repeated across channels 1 and 2. Did I say dreadful already?

I have never known such terrible coverage of tennis in forty years of watching it. Eurosport need to get their act together. Matches were not concluded and it was impossible to find the matches you did want to watch. The results were given before you even found some matches. It has been dire! Take a leaf out of Prime, whilst the camera angles were not too good at least all the matches were listed in a comprehensive way.
Can you imagine World Cup football matches being televised in this fashion where matches just stopped at 75 minutes … never, so why is this acceptable in tennis.

Watching all the Australian Open matches on Discovery plus is fantastic, except for one major problem. When watching a match, why do the commentary team tell us what's happening on the other courts. It's so frustrating, they'll say 'and over on the Rod Laver court, Tsitsipas has just beaten Fritz in a 5 set set thriller'!!!!! Trouble with that is, we were so looking forward to watching that match but what's the point when the result has been given away. Presenters should only commentate on the match they are currently presenting.

As others have said, this Discovery+ sports channel is useless. Not even a basic function like rewind which is kinda important when most of the matches are going on during the night GM time, and as far as I can figure only one channel showing them.

The coverage of the Australian tennis open is dire. I have set both channels to record. It is i possible to tell which matches are which all you can welrk out is which day it was and what time it was recored.Terrible service

The reviews are all correct - no replays - difficult to navigate, and cannot pause or rewind. But I have just about got the hang of using it, and finding the other streams... please sort it out! Loving the tennis... discovery+... not so much!

If I watch via discovery + on prime then I can pause...but still very unimpressed

We all got dumped in the middle of the thriller Sinner-Daniel match on Eurosport. Very poor. But were told it was on Discovery Sport+ We subscribed immediately but there was no sign of the match. So we followed it online. Can anyone tell me what the point is of a Discovery Sport subscription? We're asking for a refund. Prime coverage was great, with all matches on demand on replay, clearly labelled, promptly uploaded. Simple and perfect. All singles matches available live.
A reply to our complaint said " We do show all of the AO matches. When several are occurring simultaneously some of them are aired on our digital channels". Oh, where ? Sorry, but if subscribers can't find them there's got to be something wrong. How about being better than Prime, not worse?

As per other posts, I initially bought discovery app via Amazon to watch Australian tennis and gave up after 1 day as so awful.. no on demand service and no way to select the matches. When Prime had tennis last year it was superb. I have since bought the annual discovery app and can get all demand so that’s good but cannot get commentary on smart tv( can get on mobile). Tried various attempts to talk to someone but discovery support useless. They keep sending me a survey to see how they did!

I can only endorse what others have said: if their brief had been to make the Australian Open impossible to follow, this is what it would look like. No way of telling what's on, dozens of unlabelled matches at random on catchup (and the original transmissions broken up mid-match on catchup at random) and no effort to help you find the matches they should know would be popular, some of which don't seem to be there at all (where's Rafael Nadal gone, for instance?). Previous tournaments have been fine, so what on earth's gone wrong? Sort it out, Eurosport.

Impossible, same every year. I subscribe for the tennis, but atm the Australian open is on and its so frustrating to find when and where the matches are on. Not enough info in the blue boxes, which means scrolling thru all if them to find the recent or replays or live matches . They advertise live tennis, but all i get is a repeat of other sports trailers. Then suddenly a tennis match pops up...great, then half way thru a match, it all disappears. Its really unfair, unsatisfactory and feels like a huge con. For god's sake get someone who knows how to organise and edit this stuff. The service us APPALLING.

App til Apple TV fungerer utrolig dårligt…. Det har gennem noget tid virket at genstarte Apple TV boksen….men nu er den helt i skoven…..kan ikke se sendeplanen før det der kører live…..

Ich nutze den Eurosport Player hauptsächlich für Tennis. Die Qualität ist einwandfrei, man kann auswählen, ob mit Kommentar oder ohne, alle Spiele sind im Re-Play einfach zu finden.
Der einzige Nachteil im Replay ist, dass die Videolänge im Vorfeld bekannt ist. Wenn ein Spiel 3 Stunden dauert, ist bei einem 5-Satz-Match nach dem ersten Satz klar, wer gewonnen hat. Somit ist jegliche Spannung raus. Hier würde es helfen, die Länge mit z.b. Standbild bei jedem Match auf 5 Stunden zu setzen.

Most people will want to catch up on the Australian open because of the time games are played and catch up is none existant. Finding any game is a mystery it's the worst sports coverage I have ever used. In the UK I follow tennis on prime all year with no problems but the Australian Open coverage on Eurosport is embarrassing.

I too payed for Eurosport just for Australian open and as all said no library of past matches and is useless for me. Waste of money. Not accepted at all.

No stars. As other users have said, the Australian open tennis coverage is useless. I too was watching the Daniel and Sinner match yesterday when it was cut off for ski ing. This morning I got up for the live tennis Shapolov and no live tennis till 9.57 am. What good is this? Matches not labelled so have to click on a series of unmarked boxes and back repeatedly. Mostly showing old matches too. Live coverage useless. I have just demanded and received a refund for this awful service and I suggest others do the same. Do not pay for a ridiculous service.

Dont go for eurosport player or discovery+sport UNTIL they sort it out. It's quite disgraceful

Really bad app. Bought the whole year to see an UFC match and can't watch it because it does not load.They already have my money so 5 stars for them.

Dreadful service- intermittent and hard to follow. A waste of money….

We too have paid to watch the Australian Open on Eurosport & feel very disappointed with the service. As other users have stated, there's no commentary with many of the matches & you have no idea of what you'll be watching until you've clicked on it as every blue box looks the same with no information as to who's playing. Also, have just been watching the Sinner/Daniel match & they've left it to go to Alpine skiing! So frustrating! What a waste of money.
