I researched and found EsteExec to document a very contentious estate and trust. The program has been a lifesaver for documenting the estate for probate and then combining it into the trust. The learning curve was a little high in the beginning but the customer support has been above and beyond to answer all of my questions. The program is well worth the investment.

I'll give credit first to EstateSales.net, their reference was how I learned about EstateExec!

They say that most people are executors only once in a lifetime. It can certainly be a daunting chore, unless you have some expert guidance. EstateExec gives you that guidance and more! It is very comprehensive in asking estate questions on items that you may need. It really does "walk you through it step by step", the user interface is simple and intuitive, and the reports are awesome! Everything the probate judge (and beneficiary's ) should want!

EstateExec.com is 95% used by Executors starting with little information about the estate, helping them gather and organize information but is also very useful to the Estate OWNER to provide information to the future executor. There are many great reviews of people used EstateExe that fashion. This review is for those few Estate Owners who are planning their estate.

As the Estate Owner, for our estate planning (which very few people do) I had prepared instruction sheets and related information for every asset, debt, and after-death task in Nokbox (NextOfKinBox) folders containing everything our future executors need to know to handle the items.

What was missing was establishing a timeline of when those estate tasks need to be handled. I had just started on creating the timeline when I saw an article about EstateExec. After a short trial period, I licensed two estates, one for me, one for my wife.

EstateExec.com is working great in conjunction with the folders of estate planning information I have. It took a bit an adjusting and tweaking, but results turned out great.

Executors are people, and people tend to be either paper-oriented or computer-oriented. The combination of using EstateExec.com+Nokbox folders has created as system which can be administered electrically on the computer, on paper with the Nokbox folders (with printed EstateExec timeline checkheets) ... or both, with one executor taking care of each task in the Nokbox folders, and the other tracking and logging progress in EstateExec.

This has been a long effort, but my family is VERY PLEASED — some who have dealt with nightmare estates — with the result.

I am a forty year Maryland attorney. We needed help with Estates. Rationally creating an Inventory, keeping track of what we had done and when, and balancing the Estate bank accounts as well as preparing accurate interim and final accountings were time consuming and daunting. We use great software to prepare bankruptcy filings, and I believed there must be similar software for Estates. My para-lawyer researched the available software and recommended EstateExec. We bought a five pack of licenses, and at a cost of $140.00 per Estate, resolved all of our issues. This software is intuitive, powerful, comprehensive, and addresses all of the aforesaid issues with aplomb. If you do Estate work, this software will dramatically shift the workload for you and your staff. This is the best software money I have ever spent.

This platform is super user friendly and does exactly what I need it to for my mom's trust. I will be using it for my own trust as well in the future.

This is a revised review with an improved score and more positive feedback. The tool’s features are intuitive and easy to learn and are further enhanced by the real time tool tips. Their library of knowledge around the management of estates and trusts is really helpful as well. Initially, I had trouble viewing/running specific reports I needed, and my emails to Support were being treated as spam by mistake, so I got off to a rocky start with the app and the service. However, I had a great experience with support today (on par with other reviews that mentioned great service) and all is resolved. Ultimately, EstateExec is a solid product designed to make the lives and work of Executors/Trustees much easier, and I’m glad I signed up.

I came upon this tool when looking for a spreadsheet to organize financial accounting for my aunt's estate and trust. After entering the data, I was able have a concise visual to keep track all tasks and accounting. Prior, I was floating in a sea of paper. I was also able to share information with my co-executor, attorney and CPA. The tasks tool has been so valuable in helping keep us on track. Matt V was very helpful in my support session and gave me ideas of ways to use the tools that I had not learned yet. I am still learning and looking forward to taking advantage of this very valuable app.

EstateExec is precisely the software program I was looking for. My only regret is that I hadn't started working with this software much earlier in the process. Developed with State by State forms and tips, what a wonderfully helpful product!

I Googled "responsibilities of a Colorado Estate Executor" when my mom entered hospice. I purchased EstateExec after just a few minutes of reading 3rd party reviews. I WISH I had spent time getting familiar with the software on some of those long caregiving days before mom died, but the framework was waiting for me, ready to go once I had the death certificates. I showed up at the County courthouse with the 6 documents completed for my Colorado Letters Testamentary. The coordinator in the Clerk's office commented that they don't usually receive a complete, correct package unless the executor is getting instructions from an attorney!

As one of 4 heirs, I'm acutely aware that every dollar I pay myself in executor comp reduces what my brothers receive. I wanted credible, third-party data to establish and justify fair compensation for my duties. I spoke to Matt Veltmann this morning--a consult call is included with every purchase. Although there was already lots of very relevant, helpful information on the site, Matt was able to offer further insights for my situation from his experience working with thousands of executors across the US.

I have found EstateExec to be intuitive, valuable, and effective for tracking all aspects of handling an estate. Some of my favorite features have been:
1. Asset/debt tracking helped me easily reconcile with financial accounts
2. Cashflow tracking enabled me to keep precise records of every transaction type (deposits and withdrawals) broken down by predefined accounting categories that were well thought out and provide the right level of detail
3. Reporting capabilities have been robust and easy to use for inventory, accounting, assets, cashflow, expenses, time log, etc., and the reports are accurate and professional
4. Having all of the key facts/documents for the decedent and heirs securely stored by the program is another valuable feature

Everything was so self-explanatory and intuitive that I never had to contact EstateExec Support, however, I received a request from one of their representatives to have a brief call to make sure I was happy with the product and that everything was working well. That was exceptional service in my opinion.

I hired an Estate Lawyer since I am the exeutor of my parents Estate and the Estate had to go through probate as well as me linving in a different State and having 4 siblings. But this tool was so valuable for me being able to easily keep track of everything myself as the estate process progressed. It allowed me to keep track of all the assets and their progress through probate. Also it allowed me to track expense details and every expense and report the progress to my 4 siblings with professional reports.
I am so glad I ordered it! And will recommend to anyone appointed Executor.

Nothing is more maddening than thinking that a feature "must" be available in a product and not be able to confirm it or find out how to use it. EstateExec gave me great example today of how to take the angst out of tech support. FAQs, Chatbots, and help sections have their roles but sometimes the difference between a satisfying day and wasted one is tech support delivered by an actual person who knows the product and can respond to a question clearly and helpfully. I thought it was extinct until I sent an e-mail query to EstateExec today.

Highly recommended. This exceptional user-friendly program provides guidance and support through the complex process of managing an estate. Easily customizable and can be used for multiple estates. Extensive online help and rapid response from customer support. This may be a niche category, but is among the best apps I’ve ever used.

Probating an estate can initially feel like an overwhelming task. After all, how many of us have done it before, or even have a passing familiarity with the probate process and the duties of an Estate Executor?

But at the end-of-the-day, probate is just a matter of filing the right information with the right government agencies, courts, and financial services at the right times.

I had zero experience with any of this when I served as Executor for my late Mother's estate in 2020-2021, but with the help of EstateExec I was able to perform all of my duties as required by the Probate Court and felt confident doing so.

Now I am using EstateExec to prepare my own personal estate info in order to make it easier for my future Executor to handle my estate after my passing. What a great way to avoid creating a burden for my future heirs after I'm gone!

If you have been giving the awesome responsibility of handling an estate then this is a must have tool. I first used Exec Estate for my Uncles estate and now purchased it again for Dad’s estate. They are constantly adding to the program with thoughtful tips and steps to handle the process. I share the program with family so they can see what I am doing. Very easy to use and a must have for estate management.

Although I partnered with an attorney there is still a ton of stuff to handle and the EstateExec tool, thus far has been amazing. Full of super helpful information each step of the way. It's easy to feel alone through this process but EstateExec has made it so much more manageable.

It has been just over a year since my Mom's passing and I became the Executor of her Estate. I have three friends who were beneficiaries of an estate and all three are still waiting for resolution...10 years for one and 5 years for our good friend. I discovered Estate Exec six months into being the Executor of an estate. I wish I had discovered it earlier! It would have saved me quite a bit of anguish due to some mis-steps. EstateExec is a excellent program if you are the executor of an estate of any size. It is easy to use and very intuitive, so no prior experience is needed. It also has "tips" to give easy to understand hints on what to do for a particular task. I found the data upload feature extremely helpful and easy to use.

It gives you the tools to track all types of items in an estate from cash in the loved-ones wallet to the value of investments. It also allows you to manage cash and the sale of any items in the estate.

The software has an intuitive layout that makes it easy to navigate. EstateExec also has an extensive reporting tool that generates the reports the courts may want.

I even talked with the company about how to go about getting their software marketed to friends that have been appointed executor of an estate.

This is software that you don't realize you need until the unfortunate passing of a loved one. This software will help you through the what seems like an unmanageable task.
