i passed my test today with andy, andy is amazing at ensuring you feel comfortable for test by pushing you to be your best while listening to your concerns and helping you through them, i enjoyed my driving lessons and wouldn’t have been able to do it without andy being so confident in me:)

been driving with paul hughes since november and passed today, each lesson every week i learnt something new, such a knowledgeable bloke and a top top mate, highly recommend paul.

The driving instructor i got was great made everything easy to understand and was highly skilled.
Booking the test through them was easy.
Over all great experiance and a great teacher

Paul was an excellent instructor who was always very patient if I ever made a mistake and explained everything clearly. I always felt relaxed and confident while driving with him, which helped me progress and improve my driving skills quickly. I would recommend him to anyone who is learning to drive!

My instructor Paul was brilliant and really helped me progress quickly with my driving with anything I was unsure of being gone over to ensure I became more confident. He was very calm no matter the situation and made sure he could provide as many lessons as possible to fit when I was free.

Paul was a brilliant instructor and overall sound guy. I’d highly recommend!! He’s very good at putting people at ease and teaching you everything you need to know without overcomplicating stuff.

I was very nervous about learning to drive but Wayne Byrne really boosted my confidence and helped me to focus on the positives. I grew to enjoy lessons and felt ready by the time my test came. I would really recommend Wayne if you are feeling super nervous about learning to drive.

My driving instructor was Wayne, and I can’t express how fab he was! Ellison’s are great too, they managed to book my test for me and then also get me a cancellation!

Steve Patterson, my driving instructor, really helped me overcome my anxieties around driving and has been so supportive and patient throughout the learning process. I don’t think I would have passed my test if it wasn’t for him. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Gary’s a great instructor, teaches to a very high standard so nothing in the test comes at a surprise. He makes you feel at ease and is very patient. He never shouts at the mistakes you make and instead talks you through the mistake and how to correct it. Most importantly he adapts to how you learn, if there is something you’re struggling with, he will find a different way to teach it. Would 100% recommend!

Ellison's have a great app to help you easily track your progress with your instructor to see how you're getting on! I worked with Gary who always promptly updated my app after each lesson with feedback and things we'd be working on next which was extremely helpful for me. Gary was the perfect instructor for me and I'd recommend him to anyone, he made each lesson fun and interesting and always focused more on how to drive safely rather than just how to pass my driving test!

Woody was a great instructor, has given me great confidence. Very happy to have passed first time👍

I have had such a good experience with Ellisons, specifically due to my teacher Stan. He made everything that I was dreading with driving much more approachable/achievable and he was always so positive. I could not recommend Ellisons enough to anyone who wants an enjoyable, calm and engaging time when learning to drive.

i learnt how to drive with kate yarde and passed first time! she was always understanding and such a great instructor. i truly would not have wanted to learn with anyone else. so reliable, patient and actually made lessons fun & enjoyable!

I worked with Steve Patterson from Ellison's School of Motoring, on an automatic transmission vehicle. I passed my first exam and with zero faults! Steve prepared me for the practical exam, gave me honest feedback, and stressed the importance of safe and defensive driving. Steve was calm, discerning, and enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend.

I must thank ellisons and especially steven for teaching me how to drive, Steve was patient, understanding, informative and a great guy all around, 10/10 would recommend to those who wish to learn to drive 😊

I can't recommend Ellisons' instructors highly enough: my instructor Paul was always so accommodating and eager to help me find lesson slots that worked for me despite my erratic schedule. He is a very kind, attentive and supportive instructor who always knew the right way to help me fix my mistakes and improve my driving skills to enable me to pass!
He was always keen to tailor lessons to what I wanted to practice: even when I didn't necessarily volunteer it, Paul would intuitively pick up on what I needed to improve on and would tailor the routes we took to cover test routes whilst enabling me to practice parking and manoeuvring exercises.
Paul and Ellisons' were amazing and I'm glad I chose them for my driving lessons!
