I had the privileged of undergoing my training with Dan. He didn't just tell you to do something. You need to understand why you're doing it. Situations were analysed to know the causes and solutions to them. Drilling you, to make sure that you are good to go by covering everything you need to cover . His drilling was actually helpful. I passed today, being first attempt.

Kate has been a lovely, excellent but not so funny instructor who made me feel comfortable and more confident while driving enabling me to get a 1st time pass. Would recommend to anyone

Highly recommended! Steve allowed me to overcome my problems with driving. I had many lesson’s with lots of different instructors and never found the confidence to pass my test. However Steve managed to get me through with absolutely zero marks 😁 thanks everyone

Steve was an amazing instructor and really helped me feel confident being on the roads. Passed first time with his help today and couldn't be happier! Very knowledgeable and good at explaining everything, made me feel comfortable from the first lesson!

This review will be in two parts.

Firstly, Ellison's administration. Having made initial enquiries with a number of local driving schools I decided to opt for Ellisons. Telephone enquiries were met with polite and accommodating staff, my questions were dealt with promptly and correctly.

Having signed up with Ellisons I received a link to a driving teaching progress tracker and access to driving theory test questions and driving risk awareness training videos. I was also able to download the 'Total Drive' app for my smartphone (very useful as it also tracks your progress and send alert reminders for your lessons).

Ellisons appointed me a driving instructor based upon the type of car I wish to learn in, my geographical location, age and experience.

Ellisons have made the whole process of learning to drive easy, comfortable and flawless.

I would, without doubt, recommend Ellisons to anyone wishing to start to learn to drive.

Secondly, the driving instructor, Mr. John Ashfield.

I have nothing but praise for John. He took a very nervous learner and rapidly built my confidence and skills as the lessons progressed. John has a unique skill at recognising just how hard to encourage and push his student. John was very flexible with lesson dates and times.

Having worked as a trainer in a clinical setting myself it is incredibly pleasing to meet an instructor who can instantly gauge the level of teaching, use of language and level of independence to impart to his student during the driving lessons.

I have now passed my test (thanks to the confidence placed in me by John). Ironically I shall miss my lessons with John as I wholeheartedly looked forward to spending the time learning and driving with him.

John is the epitome of professionalism and a credit to Ellisons.

Andy made me feel so at ease since the very beginning. He noticed I was lacking a lot of confidence due to past experience and helped me grow the confidence back. He’s by far the best instructor that I’ve had! He had a lot of faith in me even when I didn’t and I couldn’t be more grateful for having him push me and challenge me. Thank you Andy!!

Been with Sam since November, super patient with mistakes, gave clear instructions on how to progress my skill and just passed today. Many thanks you guys

Steve is an excellent instructor. Patient, knows exactly how to tailor the lesson to each student's need. Pass first time with automatic lesson.

I had a great experience learning with Wayne and would highly recommend him. He made the switch from manual to automatic really easy and helped me build confidence on the road. The lessons were relaxed and clearly explained, which helped me pass my test quickly.

I cannot recommend Ellisons enough! I PASSED first time today under Steve’s Instruction. Firstly Steve is an amazing teacher he will give you the teaching methods that will suit you, help you learn and make you feel confident behind the wheel and he is just a great guy, so funny and interesting and always has a story to tell. And secondly Ellisons are a great company to learn with their communication were great signing up is so quick and easy i was signed up in a couple days. They also have great resources to help pass your theory aswell. I miss my lessons (and the mini) already

Wow, Ellisons school of motoring is an incredible way to pass your test. I have just recieved my license to now drive on my own and not as a learner anymore. And I cannot be more grateful to ellisons for helping me achieve that reward. My instructor Andy was a very professional and nice person who cared deeply for his students who where starting and finishing there learner experience. He helped me massively and gave me tips on what to work on as well as making sure i am ready before putting me through to my test. Thank You, Ellisons and thank you Andy

Sam was a fantastic instructor and was very friendly and patient. He was really helpful throughout my entire time being a learner, guiding me through challenging problems and working though my mistakes with me to help me learn and become the best driver I can be. I would highly recommend

I can’t recommend Andy enough! I managed to pass my test first time under his supervision, and that’s all down to his brilliant teaching style. He’s especially great at building confidence behind the wheel, which made a huge difference for me.

He’s also a very relaxed and patient guy, which really helped keep nerves under control during lessons. Every session felt calm, supportive, and productive. If you’re looking for an instructor who genuinely helps you improve and feel confident driving, he’s the one to go for!

John a ,was wonderful based in Somerset Bridgwater ,I had trauma from a crash and struggle with anxiety and I'm dyslexic and adhd he understood and helped me get past all of it I would 100% recommend him for anyone who is shy or sruggles he always tries to find new ways to help you understand and feel confident 10/10

Kate is absolutely brilliant!! She made driving fun which is a bonus but took the worrying out of it as well. I would of never of been able to even take the test let alone pass it first try without Kate.
