I love my bike and I have had good communication from the staff however the bike is unpredictable, when I have fully charged the bike it goes from zero to max speed in seconds which has been a worry as it jerks when I have to break to slow it down. When the battery has used half the charge it runs smoothly, I only ride it to and from work, it's great when it is running smoothly I'd give it 10 out of 10 if it didn't go from zero to max speed in two seconds

My battery had given up sked for a replavement ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/

I am very happy with my new E-Rider Model 18.
Assembled the bike myself and for those of you who choose to do same, I suggest you attach the stand spring before bolting the stand to the frame.
I am 90kg and my wife 50kg. Whilst slightly over the suggested weight limit, this cute little bike pulls us both around central London very well indeed. Ken Ferguson of E-Rider said it would and he is right.
I added an inexpensive sissy bar from ebay while I wait for the E-Rider bar to be available from stock which they said would be October.
I have been stopped by parks police on a couple of occasions and on explaining it was a low powered bicycle, pointing out the pedals, I was allowed on my way with a smile. In fact, before I bought the bike, it was the advice of a police officer I spoke to on Oxford Street, who had number of ebikes and electric kick scooters himself, said that a twist and go throttle is fine as long the motor is no more than 250w. He asked if I was considering a Super 73 to which I explained that I had looked at that and many others but the ability to carry my wife as pillion meant for me the model 18 was a more suitable choice than other contenders many having hardtails.
In central London I am happy to float along at 15.5 mph and with the Model 18s powerful disk brakes I can stop quickly and safely without drama.
Sometimes I use cycle lanes with the occasional shouty comments from the lycra brigade. Fact is I have a very expensive full carbon bike but a torn meniscus means I cannot cycle, run or walk for more than an hour or so without left knee pain. I'd be happy to explain the Model 18 to these shouty gentlemen if only they'd stop to discuss their issues.
With its low centre of gravity and relatively wide tubeless tyres, the Model 18 feels sure footed and is surprisingly zippy up to its max speed. When the battery is down to say 20% or 43 volts the acceleration is less perky but it's fine even with two up it still gets to 25/26 kph (circa 15mph).
I am not sure how realistic it is to expect a busy independent importer and seller of motorcycles, mopeds and bikes to be as customer focused as say a Michelin starred restaurant maître d. The good people at E-Rider are perhaps not as polished as some that sell for Fendi or Bugatti. Whilst the guys and gals at E-Rider do not mince their words, the service is good and every question I asked both pre and post purchase was answered in full mostly by email and always within 24 hours.
I am very happy with my Model 18 and the service provided by E-Rider.

Fantastic product, assembly instructions could do with being better, instructions on fitting front wheel are all wrong, I had to google how to fit the spring for the stand as I didn’t mention it anywhere on the instructions which seems daft as this is probably the trickiest bit

Had my model 20 erider for a week now but haven't rode it yet.this is due to me having to go away unexpectedly. On looking around the bike I tried unlocking the seat so I could get the charger out to fully charge the battery up. Could not get the seat to open. So I called erider and said someone. Would call me back, about 20minutes later a man called Tim called back to explain how to open it and thankfully it has. Once the battery is fully topped up I will take it out for a ride.I will comment on here later to say how I think how this bike is on the road.

The E-Rider are a company that does deserve great accolades. Every time I have a question it is answered in short order. A company I highly recommenced with no reservations.

Helpful with afew minor faults I had with my bike quickly sorted out.

I have been a customer of erider for a couple of years now as my teenagers have 2 scooters from them i have always found them to have quick good responce to any issues ive had and also good customer services when ive ordered replacement parts etc if i was to buy an electric bike in future i would def use again Thanks erider

First of all, when I purchased the bike I purchased a spare battery as well, so I received the battery and after that they delivered the bike, when I saw the battery of the bike and the spare one, they were completely different, then I saw the bike that was damaged and there were gaps in it and I was concerned about it if the water goes inside and the bike will stop, when I called them I was talking to “Jane” which was too helpful, but the guy “Tim” that I was sending him emails took too long to reply to me, and after that he said that we are using this spare batteries for nearly a year, then I sent him the pictures and I said to him that it’s not the same, after that he said to send the spare battery back and they will do me a refund, the thing is that I need a spare battery and he said that we don’t have batteries like the one in the bike, and in the web site it says that it’s a battery for model 18 and it’s not, even though the battery that came with the bike it’s 48V 20AH, and in the website they say that the battery that come with the bike is 48V 24AH, so both of the batteries are wrong.
Another thing that when he replied to me about the gaps he said it’s fine the bike won’t stop, but if I payed £1695 and £95 for the full assembly and delivery, I was expecting that the bike will be done properly not with issues on it.
And there was not a side stand as well.
For me this is the worst customer service that I saw in my entire life.
What I’m thinking is either he’s seeing himself that he’s the smartest guy and we are stupid or he doesn’t know what he’s doing and he doesn’t have any clue about the job.

Great bike, Model 30 Roma. Nippy and stylish. Very well built with quality components. ERider customer service and attention is excellent. Imogen and Ken are very helpful and respond very quickly to queries. I opted to lease the scooter where it becomes mine after 2 years. Very simple no faff application process.

Overall delighted with both the bike and the company.

I booked a test ride on a model 18 scooter. By mid morning on the day the bike was due I had still not been informed what time it would arrive. I phoned the company who gave me a mobile number for the van driver, he informed me it would be between 4 and 6 pm. He later texted to say he may be up to 2 hours late. When he arrived and I set off on a test ride I had only covered 2 hundred yards and the battery indicator started flashing and then the whole panel shut down. The battery was flat! I feel let down that I Paid £95 for a 3 hundred yard test! I did not feel comfortable buying a scooter following this aborted test.

I ordered my bike on a back order I am in the process of assembling it and it is straight forward using the online manual
I can't wait to take it out later today

I bought a fast charger but they send me a different model from the website, poor quality. In 1 week it stopped working and the support took too long to solve the problem and doing my refund.
