I like that Enlightium fit the needs of my daughter who felt at an early age a calling to be a ballerina. As a training ballerina she needed much flexibility with her schooling hours and Enlightium turned out to be the right choice. It fit all the components. The first being that they are a Christian on-line H.S. and the second, their flexibility on a daily basis for finishing assignments and even at the end of the quarter. It taught my daughter time management skills and the importance of prioritizing. I am very happy with her high school education.

The school offers a very good education with a lot of different choices for students as well as clubs and social events. The only change that may be helpful is allowing students to move on to the next assignment if they are at a stand still. If they can’t finish one assignment they cannot go on to the next. This does not work well for all students.
With that said, I would like to compliment the response of counselors and teachers to questions and meeting requests. Much quicker than a public school forum. Not to speak of the fact that this is a real Christian school that exemplifies the values and morals that are non existent in most educational institutions today.

This online education experience has been the most pleasant. Teachers are responsive. Work is graded in a timely manner. Weekly updates for where your child is regarding assigments and projected timeframes of completion. Grades are updated immediately. Staff is always so helpful, positive and patient. We have tried multiple platforms and Enlightium by far has been the best. Plus it is a Christian program with life skill ready classes built into the curriculum.

Enlightium has truly been a blessing to our entire family, not only have they provided my son an excellent and rigorous homeschooling experience, but also broadened our horizons as homeschooling parents. We couldn’t ask for a better opportunity and we thank God that we are a part of the Enlightium family!

Enligtium has been very good for my daughter she's happy with them.So I'm happy also .

Their policy: the enrollment fee is non-refundable after 72 hours period. (72 hours is the cancellation window).

Their bad business practice: they send the detail payment/ tuition fee information AFTER the 72 hours period (when the cancellation window has closed). So, if we cancel for any reason, we still have to pay enrollment fee.

For that expensive amount of money you charge the customer, why can’t you buy yourself an automatic billing system that can send invoice/payment plan information to customer right after they submit their enrollment, so they know how much they could afford and make an informed decision before the cancellation window closes? Or are you sending the payment information late, because you’re doing it purpose? So, people who cancel are trapped into paying this enrollment fee? Sounds like a scam to me.

The communication with the teachers was amazing. They were all helpful and encouraging. I really liked the curriculum and felt like we hit a home run for our daughter with Enlightium.

Great zoom meetings, lesson plans well organized and structured, good communication with teachers, excellent idea in not assigning work on Friday, which helps the student to catch up.
My son uses the read aloud feature, but I would appreciate if we could adjust the speed.

One issue we had this year was the tardiness of some teachers in grading lessons. It took well over a week in some cases which cause my student to get behind.
Another issue is the difficulty with math lessons. The math lessons lack sufficient examples & the live binders are also insufficient. This year was full of constant searches of helpful youtube math videos & seeking additional tutoring.
The final issue is the file size needs to be increased for uploads. We had an issue uploading with nearly every project/assignment.

All the challenges we faced were met with helpful suggestions and much encouragement. We went from discouraged to "We can do this!!" Many times. The ability to adapt to our childs learning challenges made for a smooth transition bringing joy that she is actually learning now and retaining the knowledge. We can not wait to tackle another year!

This program is really focused on a good education for your kids.

This was our first year with Enlightium Academy and I love it for my daughter! She has grown sooo much SPIRITUALLY and academically! The weight of having to do it all has been lifted since I have 3 small children as well. We feel supported in our homeschool life! All her teachers are great and always provide support/feedback when needed. I love that she can interact with teachers and peers through zoom calls and special events. She can work independently and finish within a reasonable time to do other things she loves! Ignitia is very simple to use and I like that they provide monitored emails for the students now. The school is always sending out updates via email and text on upcoming events and your child’s progress. I also enjoy the app and the daily posts. I could go on… We are already signed up for the following year and can’t wait to sign up my other 3 children when the time comes. It is worth the price! It doesn’t compare to the prices of the private Christian Schools in my area! Thank you Enlightium Academy for giving us a great year!
