Sarah Makes This App a Must-Try!
I haven’t had a chance to use the app yet, but knowing that Sarah is involved, I have no doubt it’s top-notch. I’ve been training with Sarah through her HIIT sessions at IOM Boxing, and she’s truly incredible. Her workouts are intense, but she somehow manages to make them enjoyable, which says a lot when you're pushing through tough intervals!
What I love about training with Sarah is that she’s thorough and committed—every session feels like(it's taking the life out of me) it’s tailored to get the best out of you. By the end, you’re exhausted(nearly dead) but also proud of(surviving ) the work you’ve done, and that’s all thanks to her.
So, if Sarah is part of this app, I already know it’s going to be amazing. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat!
Great coach with so much knowledge
I've been working with Declan for a few months. First up was to shred some fat. I managed to lose roughly 16 pounds in 8 weeks! After that Declan put me on a building phase. Slowly but surely we increased bodyweight. This led to building more muscle and getting stronger. I hadn't felt better in a long time as a result.
Declan is a very knowledgeable coach that has a wealth of knowledge. His weekly reviews are top notch and he presents them in a professional and informative way. He is always on hand to answer any questions I have. He is down to earth with a sense of humour but isn't afraid to tell you what needs done. All in all a great experience with Declan
Life Changing Experience
I started with Steve nearly 3 months ago with the aim of shaking off a few kilo's. My life at that point was a mess to say the least. I was depressed, I had daily anxiety attacks to the point where I would not leave the house for days. My family life was so far down the drain because I had no will to live nor motivation to do something with the kids unless it was watching a movie. After joining Steve and following the 4 pillars of the program I started feeling better which at that points was a very strange feeling. One month in depression is not existent, anxiety is nowhere to be found and I am as busy as anything with my family.
In short I went to loose some weight but walking away a new person mentally and physically.
By far the best thing I've done for myself and my family in the last 15 years and I have no intention to stop. Life Transformed 👍👍

She is thorough in her sessions and quickly adapts exercises to benefit me, always focusing on correct techniques to ensure I gain the most out of everything. Sarah’s always encouraging and has boosted my self confidence no end. I feel so much stronger already and have so much more energy.
The whole Energise app is very thorough and rigorous and helps me to keep focused,motivated and on track. I can’t wait to see what a difference another month will make!
Where do I start with Steve!
Where do I start with Steve!! What a phenomenal coach and human. What I liked most about Steve’s approach is that it didn’t just focus on physical health, but mental health was our priority. Steve taught me some great things in bodybuilding, even though I have been doing this for 20 odd years with various coaches. What I like about Steve is that he is constantly developing himself and gaining new knowledge- it is evident in his athletes. Another main point for someone my age (40), I was able to discuss and share my body changes and hormones with him and did he know more than anyone else on this and correlation to fitness!!!
So if you are looking to improve yourself holistically, Steve is your guy 🧠💪🏽
I need to be re motivated
I needed to revisit my training and nutrition as I was getting lazy in both areas, training with Steve gave me the accountability I needed, daily and weekly with his video feedback. I have now improved my technique drastically and each workout gives me better gains. I love that the app records your weights and reps so you can monitor your own progress and decide when to increase your weights or reps. The food plan was also individually tailored to the foods I like to eat and amended each week according to progress and results. I would recommend Steve for his experience and attitude, he responds daily to your feedback, provides a weekly video update and I loved the video explanation for each exercise that gives you exact instructions on how to set up, technique tips and guidance.
I’m an older man who needed to be re motivated and Steve successfully did that, I’m pleased with the results.
Fantastic knowledgeable trainer
Steve listened to my complicated medical history and fitness levels and tailored the training and food intake accordingly. The videos are very informative on techniques, setting up, equipment, form and things to check. The app is great for monitoring progress and the daily and weekly check ins really help keep you on track, especially the weekly video feedback. As an older lady I felt he understood my needs and responded well. Like everything, you get out what you put in! I highly recommend Steve and Energise for a fantastic way to make changes to your health, nutrition and mindset.
Personal training with Sarah
Having suffered nearly 4 years post surgery with barely any strength in my knee and constant shoulder pain, Sarah has really helped me build strength and flexibility in these areas as well as my whole body. Sarah would constantly check in with me and seeing how my body is feeling and tailoring each session around this as well as pushing it to the limits.
Honestly without Sarah I’d still be struggling to do basic exercises but with her help I’ve been able to get back to running and cycling. Still got a bit to go but looking forward to continue my journey!

Results driven, with a supportive human touch.
Steve is very passionate about driving you to perform and reach your goals. He doesn't lecture, he educates and encourages you to take ownership of the programme to ensure continuing progression. As I'm in my late 40's I was looking for a personal trainer who had life experience and who could relate to the various life pressures and commitments and navigate these into a workable programme. Steve has more than delivered on that front. Nine months in I'm the lighest and fittest I've been for years, but more importantly I feel the most comfortable about myself too.
Best thing I’ve done
Ste has so much knowledge and wisdom when it comes to health and fitness and his passion for helping others and educating others shines through every interaction and message shared! I can’t believe the amount I have learnt in only 12 weeks, It really feels life changing. I feel like Ste really sees the person in front of him and listens openly and attentively. I have been telling anyone who will listen about the knowledge I now have and am so thankful I reached out to Ste when I did. Best thing I’ve done, wish I’d done it sooner.

Steve (one of the personal coaches) is very knowledgeable and takes an holistic approach to training. His methods are based on tried and tested research and results and not on the flavour of the month diet/exercise fad.
Each training program is customised to what you tell them you need. Your age;circumstances; foods that you enjoy ; overall body condition and lifestyle are all taken in to account when the program is put together (no one size fits all approach).
Your progress is also closely monitored without micro-management from the coaches. My goal is to lose weight and put on some muscle which is being successfully achieved (over 40lbs lost so far in 5 months). I would never have done this type of training program on my own so I would never have gotten the results that I have without the knowledge and experience that Steve has imparted .

Sarah is a breath of fresh air, she has been a beacon for me and I honestly can say that my health would have significantly deteriorated without her guidance, support and enthusiasm.
Sarah is charismatic, has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge in her field and is ever evolving her offer to her clients.
Sarah is genuinely interested in helping carve out a better future for her clients. Whilst she is supportive she is also there to keep you accountable where family and friends wont, this is paramount.

I started the gym with no experience at all so it became quickly apparent to me I could do with some help.
Luckily for me I noticed Steve was at my gym and I was able to ask him for help. I trained with Steve for several months gaining invaluable experience with him.
Steve was exactly what I needed in my journey, I couldn’t recommend his training enough. His knowledge and experience were invaluable and years later I still use everything he taught me.

Best PT who taught me for life
I originally got in touch with Steve to help me get back on track after getting back into the gym.
Fast forward a few weeks and everything changed. His knowledge and experience was invaluable and I went from getting a few lessons to a full plan and a photoshoot.
His nutritional advice was amazing and taught me not to be scared of food and to make it work for you.
His training plan was exactly what I needed and taught me how to make sessions work exactly where I wanted and how to build good muscle.
Steve’s advice and friendship before and even after our plan had been invaluable, physically and mentally my life is much better thanks to his training.
The overall experience is something I will never regret. I couldn’t recommend Energise enough if you are at any level in your journey you will still learn from Steve.

When I first started training with Steve it was with the aim to feel healthier and happier both physically & mentally with the main goal of losing a few pounds. What I hadn't realised was that the programme would cover so much more and ignite a real passion for not only weight training and nutrition but mental well-being, flexibility & mobility as well as a host of other impressive benefits that I really hadn't been expecting.
Steve is really easy to talk to and confide in and is not only really knowledgeable in his field but extremely passionate about helping people and making people be a better, healthier and more confident version of themselves. Yes, I've lost weight as I had hoped and I have dropped fat and gained muscle but more importantly than that I feel like I'm myself again and in a much happier healthier place which is far more than I anticipated & I've still a way to go.
What you'll get is a highly motivated coach who genuinely wants to help you get to where you want to be, whether that be feeling healthier and happier, or recovering from injury to entering bikini competitions the support you get is second to none. He's straight talking and there's no BS just full on guidance and support as well as having a laugh in the mix. You'll be challenged with the training but the variety keeps it interesting and you soon see results.

Definitely the best fitness coach in the Isle of Man. Not only he helped me in my goals, but has always reminded me that sustainable fitness is always much better. Always easy to reach out to, even in the middle of his doctor appointments or holidays! Absolutely recommending to my friends to be under his coaching wings.
Physical/Mental/Emotional Transformation
I’ve been working with Steve for almost ten years now - initially online, then in-person, and now online again.
What he’s helped me with, physically, mentally and emotionally, is hard to describe.
I’m delighted with how I look, I’ve lost substantial amounts of body fat and cellulite and added muscle to the areas of my body that needed it.
My self-talk and inner dialogue are in total contrast to how they used to be - previously I struggled to look in the mirror without feeling low - now I’m happy to wear tighter clothes and two-piece bikinis and feel confident when wearing them.
I’m strong… physically and mentally strong.
I feel powerful in the gym when lifting weights, and I have built resilience to deal with the pressure and demands of my 9-5.
This has seen me climb my way up the corporate ladder and now feel confident and capable enough to manage a team of individuals.
I use the tools that Steve has given me to keep this team structured and organised - and similarly I set them regular tasks and challenges, just like Steve does with me.
I think that’s everyone in life needs a coach/mentor to help them navigate the trials and tribulations that life throws at us - and despite being with Steve for almost ten years, I am still learning, I am still developing and I am still improving in all areas of my life.
