Was a little dubious at ordering from a Company that I had not heard of before but they had the product that I required at a competitive price. Initial ordering process went fine, but when I did not hear anything with regards when delivery was going to take place I contacted them only to find out that the product I had ordered, although in stock when I placed the order, was now not in stock. Communication on this would have been appreciated rather than me having to contact them. Sarah then became my point of contact and she was very pleasant. My order did take some weeks to complete and there were various communications between myself and Sarah. Finally a delivery date was agreed. On the day of delivery, unknown to us the delivery driver had called in sick, but Sarah knowing how time critical this delivery was for us went out of her way to make the long drive to us so that we had the goods as promised. It was a big relief and very much appreciated.

Absolute joke of a company! Delivered broken sink and it took them 2 weeks to organise a collection. Hardly ever returned calls. Then they called me “pedantic” and shouted (literally!) to me on the phone for asking them to collect their broken sink and issue a refund. Took a month for my money to hit my bank account. Customer service was appalling. Would never use again.

Jas personally delivered my products in his car as not to miss the delivery deadline promised. This was after him e mailing with regular updates along the way
I will definitely use him again for future purchases.

Placed an order 06-November 2022 and still haven’t received it (to be fair, it was 6-8 weeks wait). Since December, they won’t answer calls or reply to voicemails and emails.

Thank you for your speedy reply on trustpilot (maybe it was being in the public eye that prompted the eventual reply!).

You are correct, the order was not placed by me, it was placed by my wife (on my instruction) as she holds the credit card.

You say you liaised with my wife, but I (or my wife if you prefer) would be very interested to see proof of such liaisons - I/we can certainly provide proof coming from our end.
As for "being aware of timescales" the only indication we have ever had was when placing the order, and it stated 6-8 weeks (we could get the item directly from the supplier within 12 weeks). There was no other time that you advised us of updated delivery times, and we certainly did not inform you that we were willing to wait (we couldn't get in touch with you!!).

You say it was ready for dispatch on the 07-Feb, yet you were not available to answer any of the 7 calls we placed to you throughout the day on the 07-Feb (as well as many other days).
Hence the trust pilot review and also the need to involve the credit card company for a full refund.
Only if you had picked up the phone.

We would give no stars if we could after reading your reply - we are honest people and making statements that just aren't true don't sit easy with us.

So, we still stand behind our initial Trustpilot review which was in no way malicious, it just spelt out the truth.

Straight forward and easy purchase and delivery.

However I would highly recommend they offer a bit more “service” to give confidence to the consumer. What do I mean…

1) the oven i purchased no one has had stock for 4 months, they are the only one that did at the time too. I.E. big online “safe and known brands” It shouldn't matter how much you send a company for payment, this was however £1,200.

2) never heard of this company, as above a lot of money sent online to a company I’ve never heard of or appear on most searches for products like I bought

3) absolutely no information about delivery company or time scales for delivery the work on. “they will call you 1hr before on the day confirmed” didn't add to the little confidence I had already. Once I pushed for this several times it seemed strange to the person on the phone I was asking for this information!

4) they ultimately need to think as a customer would bearing in mind the points above. In normal times and products are readily available everywhere at the same price I wouldn’t want to buy from a company I don’t know. I’ll go to a big brand!

I hope this helps other people buying from them, my concerns were sorted once the purchased arrived. I would recommend them in the future but warn those to be aware of above.

The service was excellent from start to finish. Polite, informed and helpful sales staff. And Empire delivered an oven in 3 weeks that every other supplier we tried said was 12 weeks or not available. Perfect. Thank you.

Great company, excellent service and very good communication.

I recently bought a Neff downdraught extractor which was an excellent price. Once the delivery was arranged, it arrived as agreed and by a very pleasant driver. I also had conversations with Sarah who was fantastic in dealing with the order.

Excellent service, even dropped off my hob personally due to postal strike so I recieved it on time.

I purchased a TV from said company they were very helpful and polite my product arrived yesterday very happy with purchase and company

I was a little apprehensive about placing an order as there weren't many reviews and the website was not most user friendly HOWEVER, I received a reply to my email enquiring about stock in less than an hour and I received my order in less than 2 days! This was for an item I had been given 16 weeks and 12 weeks waiting time with other companies! Very competitive prices and a great team, special thanks to Sarah who was very helpful and professional and a pleasure to deal with!

Bought a few products from here, all at amazing prices! Customer service was excellent and we were kept informed regarding our order. Delivery was quick! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for appliances.
