The good reviews all seem to be from sellers. As a buyer I have now given up. I need to speak to someone who knows about the property I’m looking at. They say click such and such, you need to speak to the seller. Great, that’s what I want, but it doesn’t happen. I just get the same page telling me the same nonsense and never get to speak to the seller. Three hours of the same thing snd I’ve lost interest. It’s just not worth the aggro.

Unfortunately my experience with this platform as a buyer has been negative, following a poor experience with a seller via the Emoov platform. Despite attempting to speak to Emoov management on more than one occasion by calling head office, I was told on both occasions that I'd receive a callback... which hasn't materialised.

Based on my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend this platform to others.

We sold our house and we are very satisfied with Emoov. Customer service was brilliant; they replied to all our questions quickly, even over the weekends (special thanks to Nick). We also liked the online booking system, as it was easier for us to manage than receiving phone calls whenever someone wanted to arrange a viewing.
Our viewers also told us it was easier to book a viewing than with other houses, where they had to call a traditional estate agency.

We got an offer after 1.5 weeks and a first viewing 2 days after advertising our house (which actually led to the offer in the end)

Simply to use, great to be able to monitor traffic to rightmove.

I love eMoov. I used it once to sell my house. It was inevitable that someone would come up with a site which replaces the rip-off estate agents and their percentage-fees. For a fixed price my house was on rightmove and I had 3 viewers and sold. Managed it all myself. Even drew my own floor plan. I love the site, the process and the ability to continuously modify your listing; especially the ability to upload/replace/remove photos, amend descriptions and adjust the price. Could not ask for more. All conventional estate agents are eventually going to be out of business - and they should be because they add no value.

This is the second time we have used emoov to sell a property and would highly recommend,we will be on the move again soon and guess who we will be using.We have used both sales options ie the diy option where you do all the heavy lifting like taking your own photos,and the other option which includes photos etc.they also offer extra add ons like for sale boards,epc etc.We sold both properties fairly quickly so it is a no brainer give emoov a go you wont be disappointed.Finally they are super quick dealing with queries,sometimes you get an instant reply

Sellers review:
Unfortunately this platform is not as well designed as it needs to be. A would-be buyer is not taken to a page with your property on it but instead clicks through to a generic page where they must create an account before proceeding to see property details. This is not a smooth process and more than one viewer complained that it didn't work for them. We will never know how many others just gave up! A unique QR code per property would be an obvious improvement here. Arranging a viewing is clunky (no option to suggest windows of availability, just pick a slot). When we finally had an offer the system did not work and there has been no response from the "completion management" team. In all the best you could say for the experience would be nearly adequate.

If you’re in a position to do everything yourself photographs, writing ad, liaising with buyers, viewings etc. this online estate agent is the cheapest and the service I received was good. Would use again and have recommended to friends and family. However, dealing with prospective buyers who just mess you about became tedious but not Emoov’s fault. The online chat function to a Emoov employee worked well and the response time was very good. Essentially you’re paying to be listed on Rightmove and chat with buyers through their online platform, the monthly report chart didn’t really mean anything and the website was tricky to get to grips with but once I got used to it it was fine. The text message service was a good way of knowing when I had a message. By using Emoov I avoided the hefty estate agent fee and was nice to have a one off payment and be done from the start! Although it was tedious I enjoyed having control of what I was selling and I felt that I was able to come across well to my buyers and offer them all of the information they needed where when I’ve used estate agents in the past they have done a poor job at showing off the property and charged through the roof! So I would highly recommend Emoov if you are comfortable with doing the leg work and saving yourself £1000s… Thanks to the Emoov team!

Within 3hrs of writing a property add and paying the money, I’m questioning whether it was the right decision!

So, Emoov can’t humanly support on a Saturday, can’t ID check on a Saturday and can’t advertise your property on a Saturday, but they can sure as hell take your money on a Saturday!
Nowhere (sensible) doesn’t it communicate to prospective sellers that you will have to wait until a weekday to get the ID check verified before they will advertise your property. They say ‘it can be done in as little as 20mins’. Load of tosh!

Brilliant experience with Emoov. Sophie kept us up to date and pushed for action with our purchase the whole way along. Would recommend.

Being able to manage my own viewings on Emoov was easier than I thought. The price pack was very good and when I had an issue with one of my potential buyers, Emoov where happy to give me a discount to readvertise again after my first advert expired due to a difficult buyer.

Property is now sold as of today and completion done.

Great experience selling a property with Emoov, seamless process of uploading photos on their modern website and was notified about buyer interest promptly. Any queries I had were handled well by the great customer service team, in particular Jessica and Sophie who were there on hand for assistance as soon as I accepted an offer for my property.

Like many other prospective sellers the website just won't upload photos - needs fixing urgently. Just wasted 2 hours, managed to upload 7 of 10 by trying to get round the html bugs done by incompetent IT developers but finally gave up.

We were nervous about putting the house on the market without a local estate agent. But, given that local agents were charging us £5k, we decided to give Emoov a go. We did our own photos, on an iPhone. Did our own write up and floor plan. We signed up and it was a breeze to navigate the website and submit everything that we wanted to appear in the listing.
We paid our £295 fee to list. The listing was live on rightmove the following morning and within half an hour of it going live, we had 3 bookings. We accepted the asking price from the first people who viewed it, the day after it was listed. Then cancelled the other viewings as we were happy with the price. The ability to communicate with prospective buyers meant the whole process of organising it, was quick and simple. We then purchased a completion package for £120, and Sophie from Emoov promptly got in touch. we were kept informed at every stage of the sale and could view the progress online too. 15 weeks after listing it, we completed.
We sold or house with Emoov for less than £500, a tenth of what any local agent was going to charge us.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emoov to anyone considering selling their property, it was simple and stress free.

Fantastic experience and great result

Emoov has been great and saved us quite a bit of money. Contacting them was no problem. Their online app for updating property details was straight forward.

You pay a price, no hassle, advertising in your control (we paid extra for R-move), not pestered to give reviews etc. excellent value, only problem, need more people to know how much better 'cheaper' they are than a 'traditional' estate agents....and potential buyers said that despite them being unsure of online agents it's been very good so far, good communication with seller.....Updated 15-10-25 Sale went through successfully using Emoov saved us literally £1000's of traditional estate agent fees, if you do own images etc. Would use again.
