eVisaSCAM got me so good!
evisa-SCAM got me so good!! Without paying attention, I thought I was on the official Canada site. During the process there was not a single overview of the total amount and instead of CAD $7 I've ended up being charged EUR 130. I immediately called the credit card company and it's only reserved not processed, and I checked the official Canada.ca site with my details and no appilcation form processed, so I guess I'll have to argue it out with services team to try and get a refund.
Scam
Scam. they look like the official website, but they charge very high service fees that are not displayed when you make the payment
Exactamente lo que prometieron
Me llegó el ETA en 9 horas. Entiendo que cuesta más que ir directamente, pero los términos estaban claros. La opción de escaneo de pasaporte fue muy conveniente. Exactamente lo que prometieron.
The company refused my refund twice
The company refused my refund twice, on 4 and 6 September, with the same wording both times. Neither reply addressed the missing withdrawal information or gave the time of transmission to IRCC — which their own refund policy makes the deciding factor.
Website design closely imitates the official portal
The e-VisaCan website design and questionnaire closely imitates the official portal, and the real price was not clearly disclosed before payment. It did mention the eTA costs CAD 7 but didn't show the service fee amount. There was no confirmation email. But later I found it in Junk Mail box, that is abnormal for government email that fall into Junk mail. So, I checked my bill and found out the transaction amount was £96.01.
Three-hour turnaround on my ETA
Three-hour turnaround on my ETA. The company is upfront about being a middleman—they add value through speed and convenience, not by hiding fees. Passport upload feature was brilliant.
No support from customer service
I've been trying to get in touch with their customer service but there has been no response, they are delaying my enquiry for no reason. I've requested cancellation 10mins after submitting and nobody has gotten back to me till now. This is unacceptable and the charge is unauthorised, please cancel.

Misleading service and deceptive practices.
We paid 2x130 USD for a Canada eTA application believing we were on the official Government of Canada website. The site design closely imitates the official portal, and the real price was not clearly disclosed before payment. The actual government fee is only 7 CAD.
Their refund policy states that a full refund is possible if the application has not yet been transmitted to IRCC. In our case, we received no official IRCC confirmation, no application number, and no proof of transmission—only an internal tracking code with no validity. Despite this, they refused a refund claiming the application was “already processed,” contradicting their own policy.
We have filed a chargeback and reported the website to the relevant authorities. I strongly advise avoiding this service.
WARNING
WARNING - READ BEFORE YOU PAY
I paid 130 CAD on e-visacan.com for a simple Canada eTA, which officially costs only 7 CAD through the government. During checkout, the total final price is NOT clearly shown before you authorize payment, and it is not made clear that this is a private third-party service (run by Compass World LLC, USA) rather than the official Canadian government website.
After payment, I received no real confirmation that my application was actually being processed. I sent MULTIPLE emails to customer support and also tried calling the number listed: ZERO replies, no response, no assistance whatsoever. Customer service is effectively non-existent.
I had a genuine travel emergency (attending a family funeral), and this total lack of communication and transparency put my ability to travel in time at serious risk.
If you need a Canada eTA, apply ONLY through the official Canadian government website (canada.ca), where it costs 7 CAD - not through middlemen like this one who charge almost 20x that amount and then disappear when you actually need help.
Terrible experience. Zero transparency, zero support. Strongly do not recommend.
Société qui fait écran avec le site…
Société qui fait écran avec le site officiel du gouvernement canadien afin d'arnaquer des centaines de dollars en prétendus frais de services

Same. Believing this was the Canadian gov site, I too entered some sensitive information and passport details to amend my visa. 7 CAD was shown as the fee. I was billed for 130 USD (£97). Clearly a web site trying to look like the govt one. Similar fonts etc. The 'fee' was in a drop box triggered by pressing a minute triangle, which I did not spot until re visiting after my payment was made. Misrepresentation and clearly unfair fees. Unjustifiably as they do not actually do anything except submit the visa application directly and charge a massive and unjustifiable fee. I am trying to get my money back from my c/c company.
Scam. Avoid this fraudulent site.
Scam! Took over $200 when the fee displayed was $7. Is fraudulently presenting itself as a legit visa service.
Check your credit card statement if you’ve fallen for this.
We’ve had to cancel our credit card but more concerned that we’ve entered full personal details e.g. passport, flight dates, addresses, employment details, etc… so assume we’re now exposed to identity theft. But what can be done?
Google should have some responsibility/accountability in not allowing scam sites like these to be at the top of the search results. Shame on them.
A website which pretend being able to…
A website which pretend being able to issue a visa for canada and which the pricing is misleading. They run two websites in parallel (evisacan. com , e-visacan.com and some other website for visa issuance for other countries)
to saturate SEO at Google (which will be notified too to move them out of the SERP).
They hide some services fees behind a code snipet on their website which the user don't see. The user believe they pay 7 CAD but end up with a 100 + CAD to pay at the stripe payment page.
Unfortunately for them, their website run on wordpress and I know about it. After a security scan of their website I found out the admin of the website to be registered with an email adress being sales[AT] neevababy.com (they have changed this since a few days after they understood I spoted them). Now they hide themseves behind a Wyoming company but they are still the same people
After making some searches about this company (neevababy) I found out the company editing the software of the mobile app of neevababy of the device sold is edited by a company based in Ontario named SBE Inc and their website mention "This website is operated by Sebe Inc". The other websit evisacan.com was also affiliated with SBE Inc, now they shutdown their website to avoid traceability, but pity for them I am still here warning users.
This company is registered and so some official documents are foundable on the ontario company registar, for a small fee, you will find the name of the director of the company reatively easily.
After some research online and on linkedin while targeting ontario area you will found some profile in Ontario fitting with the last two name and working at a jobboard company in Canada.
I have threaten them by email to disclose all of their identity online if they would not refund me quickly. They ignored it for two weeks, until i started finally publishing their name on Google Review, after what they issued the refund. Since, they tried to play timing and since I keep my words I am publshing to avoid other users being cheated.
I highly recommend to any user being cheated to contact Canada Administration (tourism and business one to complain while disclosing openingly their name)
To you guys who handle those website, if you read me: as long as you will continue cheating people we will disclose your name online.
SCAM
SCAM
I was stupid enough to get caught out by this. AVOID! You give all your personal info away. And they charge $130 USD HIDDEN SERVICE CHARGE.
They are designed to look like the official Canada website.
They are super sneaky about it. If you don’t click the tiny arrow dropdown during check-out so you can’t see the service charge when you pay (unless you click it). So they worked out as this their right to keep your money. They “provided the services” but we never asked for their service to begin with.
Scam
Scam - DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
This is not the legitimate Canada eTA site and you will be ~$120 poorer than you should be if you use their services.
Customer service also deliberately slow, meaning you can't even refund if you make the sad mistake of using this site.
