In 2023, I underwent rhinoplasty in Antalya with this doctor. Based on my personal experience, it was one of the most difficult medical experiences I have ever been through.

After the surgery, I experienced significant pain and a very difficult recovery. I was also deeply disappointed with the appearance of my nose as it healed. My personal expectation was a natural-looking result, and I was not satisfied with the appearance I ultimately saw.

After the healing period, I decided to undergo two revision rhinoplasty procedures with another surgeon. These procedures were performed in an attempt to improve the appearance and structure of my nose. The second revision procedure involved the use of rib cartilage.

During the revision process, my surgeon explained to me that there were significant structural issues that needed to be addressed, including issues involving the nasal bridge. I am describing this based on what was explained to me during my subsequent medical treatment.

After the primary surgery, I personally felt that my nose appeared significantly larger than it had before the procedure, and I was very unhappy with its shape and proportions.

The recovery following my primary rhinoplasty was also extremely difficult for me. I experienced extensive bruising around my eyes, and the whites of my eyes became very bloodshot. In my personal experience, the recovery from both subsequent revision procedures was considerably easier, with very little bruising.

The entire process required a significant amount of money, time, additional medical treatment, and emotional energy for me. I am sharing my experience because I believe that prospective patients should have access to different patients’ experiences when making their own decisions about medical treatment.

Yes, I confirm that during the first days after surgery, I wrote that everything was fine. I did so because the doctor repeatedly reassured me that the surgery had gone well, that the result was excellent, and that my nose looked beautiful.

At that early stage, I personally did not have enough experience to understand what my eventual result would look like. I trusted the information and reassurance I was receiving from my doctor.

The appearance of a nose changes considerably during the healing process, and I personally did not understand at the time how different the early postoperative appearance could be from the later result.

For anyone considering rhinoplasty, my personal advice is not to make a final judgment about your result during the early stages of recovery. I also personally would not make promotional statements about being completely satisfied immediately after surgery, because I now understand from my own experience that the final appearance can only be evaluated much later.

I am sharing this because I wish I had understood this before my own surgery. My intention is not to make accusations against anyone. I am describing my own experience, what I personally observed, how I felt about the result, and the subsequent treatment I chose to undergo.

Regarding the question of why I waited three years: by approximately one year after the primary surgery, I was experiencing significant emotional distress because I was very unhappy with the result. I was also not comfortable undergoing another operation immediately, particularly after such a difficult first experience. I needed time before I felt ready to consider revision surgery.

I have also been asked why I am sharing my experience now and have been told that legal action may be considered in relation to my review.

I would like to make clear that I am not presenting my personal experience as an objective medical or legal judgment. I am sharing my own account as a former patient. If there is a specific statement in my review that you believe is factually inaccurate, please identify that specific statement so that I can understand what you are disputing.

I paid for and personally underwent this procedure, experienced the recovery, and later underwent two revision procedures. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion. I am sharing it so that other prospective patients can consider my experience alongside other information when making their own decisions.

Hello everyone. First of all, I can sincerely say that if you are truly looking for a doctor who does their job with great care, inspires trust, and is highly successful in their field, then you are definitely in the right place. Even a single conversation with my doctor was enough for me to feel completely confident and at ease. His experience, approach, and calm demeanor were clearly evident from our very first meeting.

As for my surgery process, my doctor promised that there would be no bruising or pain after the operation, and he truly kept his word. I honestly went through a much easier closed rhinoplasty than I had ever expected. I experienced neither significant pain nor any bruising that would affect my morale. The entire process was smooth, comfortable, and problem-free.

I would also like to emphasize that the fact that this technique is performed by only a limited number of doctors is a clear indication of how meticulous and professional his work is. Despite being someone who is normally very afraid of medical procedures and cannot even give blood, I underwent this surgery with complete peace of mind. For me, this was a very big step, and being able to go through with it was entirely thanks to the trust my doctor gave me.

My doctor’s care and support did not decrease after the surgery either. I am currently in my second month post-operation and I attend all my follow-up appointments regularly. At every check-up, his presence, close monitoring of the process, and patient answers to all my questions make me feel extremely reassured. He is truly a very attentive doctor who stands by his patients at every stage.

I am so glad I made this decision and that our paths crossed. I cannot thank him enough for his dedication, care, and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Hallo zusammen, ich muss sagen ein super toller Arzt sowie vor und nach der op. Ich hatte eine Nasenkorrektur bei ihm und es ist klasse ich bin so zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis obwohl es zwei Monate erst her sind bin ich mit dem Ergebnis jetzt schon sehr zufrieden und glücklich . Er hat sich sich sehr gut gekümmert vor der op und nach der op ich kann ihn immer erreichen wenn ich noch Fragen habe. Er ist immer präsent und die op ist super gelaufen mit allen drum und dran.Herr Doktor Oguzhan ist ein selbstbewusster Arzt und weiss ganz genau was er tut.Sehr sehr empfehlenswert.

Ik wil bij deze mijn positieve ervaring van de revisie neuscorrectie operatie met Dr Tolga Oguzhan meededelen met iedereen: ik ben zeer tevreden!
Mijn naam is Els. Ik ben 55 jaar, getrouwd en moeder van twee dochters.
In 2008 was ik geopereerd aan mijn neus in Nederland. Helaas had de plastische chirurg mijn neus erger gemaakt dan het er eerder uit zag, en hierbij ook mijn ademhaling door mijn neus moeilijker gemaakt. Met deze negatieve ervaring/gedachte heb ik 17 jaar ontevreden met mijn neus gelopen. Ik durfde echter tot op heden geen stap te nemen voor een revisie. Ik volgde via Instagram vorig jaar meerdere plastische chirurgen uit Antalya in Turkiye (met het idee dat ik een eventuele operatie kon combineren met een (zon)vakantie daar :) ). Ook volgde ik de Instagram pagina van Dr Tolga Oguzhan. Ik zag dat hij specifiek operaties uitvoerde van het gezicht en voornamelijk de neus. Ook vond ik dat hij natuurlijke neuzen maakte, als ik keek naar de voor en na-foto’s. Na maanden hem op Instagram gevolgd te hebben, heb ik een chatbericht gestuurd om mijn vragen te stellen (Wat de prijs is, in welk ziekenhuis ik dan geopereerd zal worden, informatie betreft de operatie zelf, etc.). Ik kreeg netjes antwoorden op mijn vragen. Daarbij wat ik ook heel belangrijk vond was dat ik hier een goed gevoel bij had. Ik had een afspraak gemaakt voor een eerste gesprek in Antalya. We zijn toen met de hele familie naar Antalya gegaan. We werden goed ontvangen in de praktijk van de dokter. Ik had gelijk een goed gevoel/een “klik” met de arts. We hebben het tijdens dat consult nogmaals uitgebreid mondeling over de operatie gehad. Er zijn toen ook foto's gemaakt van hoe de neus er “nu” uitziet, en de chirurg heeft foto's laten zien van het plan van hoe de neus er na de operatie uit zal zien. Ik was tevreden met het eindresultaat dat de chirurg in gedachte had. Hij denkt mee met wat jij wilt en wat ook het beste past bij jouw gezicht. Dit was ook erg belangrijk voor mij. Hierbij besteedde hij ook aandacht aan mijn andere klacht (namelijk dat ik ook niet goed door mijn rechterneusgat kon ademen, en hierdoor alleen op één zijde kon slapen i.v.m. mijn ademhaling door mijn neus). De operatie werd ingepland voor 12 april 2025 (op een zaterdag, want de arts opereert ook op zaterdagen).
Voor de operatie heb ik nog een tweede gesprek gehad, waarbij we uitgebreid nogmaals alles besproken hebben. Ook op de dag (voor aan de operatie) zelf is de arts bij mij op de kamer geweest in het ziekenhuis om mij gerust te stellen (het is toch een operatie en ik was toch een beetje bang, ik stond op het punt om de operatie maar af te zeggen. Dit heb ik gelukkig uiteindelijk niet gedaan.). Na de operatie is de arts weer op mijn kamer geweest in het ziekenhuis, en vertelde mij hoe de operatie was gegaan. Ik heb in het ziekenhuis hele goede zorg gekregen, waar ik de verpleegkundigen aldaar ook erg dankbaar voor ben. Mijn man mocht ook blijven slapen in het ziekenhuis (bij mij op de kamer).
De volgende dag mocht ik naar huis.
De arts was 24 uur bereikbaar voor nazorg. Als er wat was, mocht je bellen of via Whatsapp een bericht sturen. Dit was zo fijn. (Gelukkig was dit allemaal niet nodig.) Als ik vragen had, stelde ik deze via WhatsApp. Ik kreeg heel snel een antwoord op mijn vragen. Hij is erg geduldig, wat ook super fijn is. Ik ben meerdere keren (5 keer in de 5 weken dat ik in Antalya was) op de praktijk van de arts geweest voor nazorg (voor de verwijdering van het gips op mijn neus, verwijdering van de siliconen tampons, en de pleister op je neus, etc.). Gisteren was mijn laatste bezoek bij de arts, omdat ik vandaag terug naar Nederland vertrek. In Oktober/November kom ik weer terug naar Antalya voor een laatste controle (dit is niet verplicht, maar ik wil dit graag, wat de arts ook goed vond). De nazorg zit ook allemaal in het operatie bedrag. Het is een totaalpakket zonder extra kosten hiervoor. Het is allemaal goed geregeld.
Ik ben enorm blij dat ik dr Tolga Oguzhan heb gekozen voor mijn neusoperatie. Ik heb een hele mooie, natuurlijke neus gekregen die mooi bij mijn gezicht past. Ik ben enorm blij dat ik deze stap toch heb genomen voor een revisie operatie. Ik ben blij dat ik Dr Oguzhan heb gekozen voor deze operatie. Ik raad andere mensen het zeker aan om door dr Tolga Oguzhan geopereerd te worden voor een neuscorrectie en revisie operatie. Als hij deze review leest; dank u wel dr Tolga Oguzhan. Je hebt mijn leven een stuk mooier gemaakt.

This was my very first nose surgery, and naturally, I was extremely nervous. I had so many questions in my mind – what if it hurts too much, what if I don’t like the result, what if something goes wrong? But from the very first consultation with Dr. Tolga Oguzhan, my worries began to disappear. He took his time to explain the whole process in a calm and reassuring way, and something about the way he communicated instantly gave me confidence. I knew I was in safe hands.

What really stood out to me was his patience and care. No matter how many questions I had – and trust me, there were a lot! – he always answered me kindly and in detail. Whether it was before or after the surgery, he was always reachable and supportive, which meant the world to me during such a personal and sensitive journey.

And now… the result. I couldn’t be happier. He gave me a nose that looks natural, balanced, and fits my face perfectly. It’s still me – just an enhanced version that makes me feel more confident. His experience and attention to detail really show in the final result.

Even weeks after the surgery, he continued to be present, answering all of my follow-up questions and guiding me through the healing process. That ongoing support made me feel incredibly cared for.

Ich habe bei Herrn Tolga im Jahr 2023 eine Nasenoperation durchführen lassen. Er war vor und nach der Operation sehr aufmerksam und hat sich um mich gekümmert. Nach der Operation hatte ich keine Probleme. Herr Tolga ist in seinem Beruf sehr erfolgreich und zudem ein freundlicher und engagierter Arzt. I had surgery by Dr. Tolga 2 weeks ago.

I’ve been looking for a doctor intensively for the last two years but i couldn’t fully trust any doctor. I met him through a friend who had a revision for her collapsed nose. When i went there, i thought if he could make that nose perfect, how could he make mine beautiful?

He has a very different aura, when he starts talking to you, you feel the trust that enters you immediately. "I will design your nose according to the golden ratio. I will make a nose more perfect than you want. You can be sure." When he said this, i said, "I found my doctor." He is never a monotonous doctor. He makes a different nose for each of his patients. Only Dr. Tolga could make me the natural Barbie nose that i’ve wanted for years. And that is what happened.

We decided to have a closed technique rhinoplasty. It was very important for me to have no scars during the procedure and to recover quickly but comfortably. Because i’m a teacher and i had to go back to school immediately. Closed technique rhinoplasty promised these things.

I was discharged after staying in the hospital for one night. I could move my mouth freely and since i had no stitches i could eat and drink whatever i wanted. On the fourth day i could take a shower without any problems, unless it was a steamy bathroom. By the fifth day i was completely back to myself. I only had minor aches and pains. But the reason i recovered so quickly was definitely because I had a closed technique rhinoplasty. I am happy we decided to do this.

He is also a very caring doctor. Whenever i had something on my mind after the surgery and reached out to him he got back to me right away. He still does that. He never takes his hands off you.

There was pressure in my ear and this was due to the pressure created by the curvature of the bone in the ear. I would like to add that my ear was completely open 6 hours after the surgery.

As someone who has been looking for a doctor for years, I can say that he is by far the best doctor for rhinoplasty in Antalya. You can go to Dr. Tolga with peace of mind.

Ich habe meine Nasen-OP bei Herrn Dr. Tolga Oguzhan in Antalya durchführen lassen und bin von meiner Erfahrung absolut begeistert!

Schon bei meiner Ankunft wurde ich mit einem privaten Chauffeur direkt vom Flughafen abgeholt, sodass ich mich um nichts kümmern musste. Die gesamte Organisation war perfekt – vom Transfer zum Hotel über die Fahrt ins Krankenhaus und zurück. Ich fühlte mich rundum bestens versorgt.

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Kommunikation mit dem Arzt. So eine persönliche Betreuung habe ich bisher nicht erlebt! Ich konnte ihm jederzeit schreiben, und er hat direkt geantwortet – immer freundlich, professionell und aufmerksam. Die OP selbst verlief reibungslos, und das Ergebnis übertrifft meine Erwartungen. Keine sichtbaren Narben, eine absolut natürliche und harmonische Nasenform – genau das, was ich mir gewünscht habe! Auch die Betreuung im Krankenhaus sowie die Ausstattung meines Zimmers waren hervorragend.
