Don't operate without it!

Hi Ian,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this, genuinely made my day.
Coming from someone with your experience in the industry, "don't operate without it" is about the highest praise we could hope for. We built Dronedesk to handle the unglamorous but essential stuff (logging, risk assessments, regulatory reporting) so operators can focus on flying, and hearing it lands that way for seasoned pros like yourself means we're on the right track.
If you ever spot something we could do better, or have ideas you'd like to see in the platform, you know where to find me.

Paul, a classic reference, we'll happily take it!
It's brilliant to hear that Dronedesk is cutting down the admin and helping you look sharp in front of clients. That's a combination we hear a lot - operators saving hours each week on flight planning and compliance paperwork, and producing documentation that genuinely impresses their clients.
Comments like yours make the effort we put in worthwhile. Thanks so much for taking the time.
Efficient platform for small & large companies alike
As a company with contracts all over the world we needed a central platform that allowed us to track all our assets, regardless of theatre, and be compliant with local regulations with regards to flight logging and planning. Dronedesk has saved us so much time and effort managing our fleet of aircraft and all the contract pilots we use for our projects. Before, with multiple platforms doing many different things, it was easy to miss some details. With Dronedesk it's all there with a mouse click, including managing client interactions. Dorian is quick to help, and totally on the ball when it comes to changes in regulation that lead to a change in the platform. The newsletter he puts out is full of useful information for different regions, which helps us stay abreast of changes and issues in our locations. A great platform that's simple to use. It's an excellent asset for businesses running multiple aircraft and pilots, as well as owner/operator businesses alike.

Thank you so much, Jamie, this genuinely made my day!
Managing a global fleet across multiple countries, with all the regulatory complexity that brings, is no small feat, so it's brilliant to hear that Dronedesk has been able to bring everything together in one place for your team. That's exactly what we set out to build.
Your kind words about the platform, the newsletter, and the support mean a lot. Knowing that the work we put into tracking regulatory changes and so on is genuinely helping operators like you stay compliant and ahead of the curve is the best motivation we could ask for.
We're proud to be part of your operation. Whether you're running a global enterprise fleet or a solo owner/operator setup, that's the Dronedesk promise. We'll keep working hard to earn that trust.
Fly safe, and thanks again for taking the time to share your experience!

Over complex and time consuming
The set up of new jobs is too complex.
It is easier to plan jobs / flight manually using using standard and Aeronautical Maps.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the platform hasn't met your expectations.
Dronedesk is designed to help operators manage the full scope of commercial drone operations, including compliance, risk assessments, client management, and audit-ready documentation.
I appreciate that if you're primarily looking for basic flight planning and mapping, some of those features may feel like more than you need right now.
That said, I've sent you an email as I'd genuinely love the chance to help you get more out of the platform. I can walk you through a streamlined workflow for setting up jobs that might change your experience..
Best regards,

Thank you so much for the lovely review! We're really glad to hear you're finding Dronedesk user-friendly and that it's helping streamline your operations.
We've worked hard to build a platform that scales with our users – whether you're flying solo or managing a larger fleet – so it's great to know that's coming through in your experience.
If there's ever anything we can help with, or any features you'd like to see, we're always just a message away.
Thanks again for your support!

Since using Dronedesk I've found it really nice to use overall. Some of the features I haven't needed to use but they look like they could be really useful. It can be slow loading large numbers of jobs but that probably isn't down to the platform more the sheer volume of jobs on the system.

Thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to leave a review Phil! We're really pleased to hear you're finding Dronedesk easy to use overall.
Regarding the loading times with larger job volumes – we actually have a few tools that can help with that, including auto-archiving and the option to limit the number of jobs loaded at one time. These can make a real difference when you've built up a substantial job history. We'd be happy to give you a quick walkthrough of how to set those up if you'd find it useful – just drop us a message!
Thanks again for your support!

Every aspect of drone ops in one app!
After working in several apps, spreadsheets, and disparate documents to manage my drone business operations, I found Dronedesk. What a fabulous, comprehensive application for managing all aspects of drone operations, designed by drone pilots! A little imposing at first, but my questions were addressed promptly and completely by the Dronedesk team. I found them quote open to suggestions and very transparent with their development plans.

Hi Peter, really appreciate the detailed review! The spreadsheet juggling act is exactly why we built Dronedesk; we'd lived through that chaos ourselves as operators. There is quite a bit to take in at first, but once it clicks, everything just makes sense. Pleased the team got your questions answered quickly, and we absolutely mean it when we say we're open to suggestions, so much of what's in the platform now came from operator feedback like yours. Thanks for taking the time to share this!
How did I survive before DroneDesk?
Very useful way of collating flight logs, maintenance, jobs, clients, locations etc. Love the way it automatically generates emergency contact lists/hospitals and local ATC. Saves so much time in pre-flight planning.

Hi Mick, thanks so much for this! Really pleased to hear Dronedesk is saving you hours of admin and getting your pilots in the air faster. The pilot flight times and asset management side is exactly what we built to take that manual tracking burden away. We're hearing from operators that they're typically planning flights in 30 minutes or less now, so it sounds like you're getting even better efficiency than that. Really appreciate you recommending us!
Dronedesk makes drone flight planning a breeze
Dronedesk makes drone flight planning an absolute breeze. Back when I was out in the field, planning a flight could take hours. Checking airspace, weather, and compliance requirements (usually with multiple tabs open on multiple screens). With Dronedesk though, most flights are planned in under 30 minutes. It’s intuitive, efficient, and saves a huge amount of time. Highly recommended for any drone operator.

Dronedesk pulls all that together so you can get through planning quickly and confidently. Really appreciate you recommending us!

A Must-Have for Serious Drone Operators
DroneDesk has taken the chaos out of planning and running inspection jobs. Everything sits in one place — flight planning, risk assessments, checklists, logs — and it all just works. It’s made my workflow cleaner, faster, and far more compliant without drowning me in admin.
What really stands out is how consistent it keeps my operation. No missed steps, no hunting for documents, no switching between half a dozen tools. For anyone running regular commercial flights, especially inspections, this is the kind of system that genuinely makes a difference.
Highly recommended.
