I am so surprised at all the negative reviews, I have used this service (dragon taxi/veezu) on and off for around 5 years and I must say they are the best taxi company I have ever dealt with.

The drivers are so friendly and cannot do enough for you.

I call up and either order it by robot (after you have been to a certain place a few times it will give you a computerised option) or I go through to an agent and order it that way.

Taxi always turns up on time and will message you to give you info on your taxi arriving.

I need a return taxi most days because I'm visiting my mum at the hospital 10 miles away and I have never had an issue with the service these guys offer.

All the taxi drivers I've met have been super friendly and will go out of their way to help you, they even take me to the cashpoint when needed.

I will always use this service when available.

The worse company ever!! Always late that's if they turn up at all. For today I've booked tickets for the whole family to go to an event and we've asked for a 5 seater they said if they don't have it, it'll be 2 separate ones. 1 Turned up 10 minutes late and my husband stayed back to wait for the other one which turned up another half hour later. So he couldn't join us at the show, my son cried his eyes off and they didn't even say sorry!!!! Stinking attitude on them most careless compay ever!!!! Shut the whole thing down, sick of it, pointless them being in business just causing so much stress!!!

I telephoned at 12pm to book a taxi for 6pm. Meeting friends for a meal that I haven't seen fir 20yrs.
6.00pm waiting outside my house for taxi. 6.15 was told 4mins away, 6.20 1min away, 6.30 was told had been to my house and no one in!!! I was stood on my doorstep the whole time and no-one showed. Missed seeing friends and all they could say was sorry for the inconvenience. Disgusting service.

Booked via app but didnt go through so rang and booked for the next day to go to school. The taxi didnt turn up had to keep phoning and told them we had to be at the school a certain time thats why it was booked the day before. I was told I'm a priority and it would be about ten minutes. Kept ringing as still hadnt turned up but they didnt answer just messages saying it was on the way. 25 mins later the taxi arrived making us late taking to school. If they can't make it they should let you know so you can make other arrangements, they take your phone number! Will never use again terrible service, wish I had read other reviews before.

Got picked up and dropped off at completely the wrong place and was told to pay for another trip

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! in the morning we booked a taxi to the station which was late making us miss our train and caused our journey to be an hour longer. we also booked a taxi for the evening a month ago which was late and after forty minutes and three calls to the company, in which we were told they’d be ten minutes, we cancelled to get another taxi. WHAT A JOKE OF A TAXI COMPANY.

I would give them no stars if I could. Taxi booked for event with 3 weeks notice. They should have arrived at 11pm for a pick up. At 12.30am we made other arrangements. We called them several times to be told;
- stuck in traffic
- sending 2 cars (we’d booked for 8 people
- we’re 10/15 minutes away (we were told this several times)
Terrible service and blatantly lying about how long we would be waiting.

Appalling service. Pre booked a taxi a few days before the event. Taxi did not arrive after calling on numerous occasions to be told that they were busy and would be there in 20 minutes. When arrived one hour later it was just a taxi for 4 and we had booked one for 8. Eventually got a family member to pick us up. Would never use or recommend. Pre booking means nothing.

Taxi for 11:30pm arrived at 12:40!!! What was more annoying every time I rang them they were 10min away, if they had been honest I could have cancelled it and found alternative transport earlier. Luckily for me I had a friend 10 miles away that picked us up as we were stranded at 12:30… The phone call to say taxi had arrived was 1:10 mins after the booked time. Very annoying won’t be using again.

Awful company avoid. Pre-booked taxi to avoid being late only to receive a text telling me they are BUSY 5 minutes AFTER the collection time, waited 20 minutes before phoning, only to be told that it will be another 20 minutes. Called Vale Taxis instead who arrived 5 minutes later

Every time I book I’m told a time and it’s always late. This is the third time in a row I’ve missed a train due to the taxi being 20 minutes late. One time it was 40 minutes late. Pointless service

Theiving ba**ards. £3.50 for a 30 second (if that) drop-off en route tonight. Must be trained by Newport City Council or those other tos**rs in the Senedd. Never again, Dragon, Veezu or whatever you call yourselves can do one.

App needs continual refreshing and you need to rebook ,and still no cab ,will miss train. Rubbish service .

I have tried these at desperate times in the past and nobody ever turns up, pre booked or not, day or night. The one time a driver did turn up, he advised me not to book by card/apple pay because drivers don't want to pay tax on their earnings so only take bookings that are cash!! Abysmal. No wonder they've rebranded to VEEZU. BEWARE!!

I wish I had read the Reviews. This morning Dragon Taxis left my sister stranded. I booked last night for a 7.30am taxi to take her to a hospital appointment. Turns out the car never booked. They rang at 7.40am to say it was late, then cancelled at 8am. They never had a car even near her house. Don't understand why they would take a booking under these circumstances. But they did and have caused real pain and grief today. Shocking.

Just had journey and driver set incorrect fair via app payment. I raised this and he then tried to say I had to pay the new fair £9:20 on top of original fare, advised it was £2:90 more.
Required call to office or he wouldn’t complete journey. End of this still over charged 60p, not very much but laughed and said I know when I informed he had forced tip.

Just please be aware of this behaviour by drivers.

The driver I had to take me to the cardiff Royal infirmary was excellent. He explained the route we were taking and kept my nerves at bay. I didn't catch his name but he drove a lovely Mercedes.

After the car was late and nearly miss my appointment, the driver did not know to take me to gp surgery as he doesn't had a navigation so I did use my phone to get there and also he didn't know to fallow the instructions from navigation I had to tell him what site of the road he need to stay ,on the end I left the car as he went on wrong direction even with navigation..very disappointed

Over charging and taking money from my account after i got out of the car. This has only the 2 months or so and i phone up I don’t get answer. Won’t use again. £18.50 to go 4 miles
