I had a stroke and strughled to pay my insurance after telling them they gave me abit extention im now back at work this guy made it his business to cancel my policy they have no apathy what so ever his tone has been so rude and be littled me im reciving a call off amira the team manger he said lets see how she can help im now back off work after having a stoke i felt to helpless im 32 years of age i thought may be now im better my life will get back into order but people who work for doddle over have no heart and apathy towards people like me ....

We're disappointed to read your comments as they don't reflect the service we aim to provide here at doddle cover. We understand that financial difficulties following a serious illness can be incredibly stressful and we always look to try to support customers wherever we can to ensure an insurance policy can continue if possible.
In your case, we made a number of extensions and accommodated wherever possible multiple times to keep your cover in place. Unfortunately there are occasions where despite our best efforts, a policy cannot continue if payment isn't received within the agreed extended timeframes.
We also take concerns about our team's conduct very seriously and have therefore listened to all the calls thoroughly. However, if there's anything further you'd like us to look into, please contact us directly and we'll be happy to review further for you.

Thanks for leaving us review and for the feedback. We have listened to the call and all levels of cover were offered to you, but we understand on this occasion third party only was the cheapest. You can upgrade to TPFT or Comprehensive within the first 14 days of your policy so please call us on 0330 124 5773 if you'd like to.
In terms of payments, we're sorry we couldn't be as flexible as you wanted. We will always try to help as much as possible to lower the up front payment, however your quote was already at the lowest we can offer. However, once your first instalment is complete we can help with moving the instalment dates to best suit you so again please just give us a call to discuss how we can help best suit your finances.

Excellent Service and Liam is 5*
I am so glad to buy my Car Insurance using this company. Absolutely Fantastic customer service. Everyone I spoke to was helpful, but one name stood out. That name is Liam, whom I spoke to multiple times, and every time I talked, we had a good laugh. He genuinely helped me to finally get my insurance sorted. Subjectively speaking, this company is highly recommended.

Had no problem with setting up my van insurance although it ended up more expensive than on the comparison site. The guy was very friendly and helpful and would have no problem using DoddleCover again.

Really annoyed here
Really annoyed here. Used Compare the Market and Doddle came up towards the top for a very competitive price of £676.50. Checked all my details were correct and clicked buy it now. Then advised I had to call. Held on for 12 minutes got cut off so called again and after 45 minutes got an answer only to have to go through literally the whole set of questions again like for like and then to be told the best price they could offer after searching though insurers was £949.76. What a complete waste of my time. I actually felt sorry for your agent. He probably has to deal with this day in day out. He couldn't say why there was such a change. Said I would be leaving a review - not aimed at him as he was very pleasant to deal with. Would have been good to know why such a difference. I note on your replies to other similar reviews you guarantee your online price. This is obviously not the case. Will be going elsewhere.
UPDATE: Following reply from Doddle not quite sure why my occupation would have been entered incorrectly by me so don't agree with that comment. Anyway much better price elsewhere so done me a favour really

Thank you for your feedback. As you say all our online prices are guaranteed so we've investigated this for you. Having listened to the call we needed to change an occupation on the quote which resulted in a change of price. If the correct occupation was put online this is the price you would of seen. While we can understand this is frustrating, it is important to have the details correct on your quote to ensure you are able to claim on the policy if you need to do so.
We hope you were able to find affordable insurance elsewhere and think about using us next time you are looking for insurance.
