I've been an early supporter of DIY Toolshare and have listed a number of my own tools on the platform. I work in construction, so I already have quite a few tools myself, but recently I needed a hand truck locally for my personal use to move some heavy items and thought I'd see if I could find one locally through DIY Toolshare.
I managed to find one nearby, book it and complete the rental through the platform. It was a really useful experience and showed me first-hand how handy the concept can be - even for someone like me who already owns a lot of tools. A great idea for borrowing tools and equipment you only need occasionally rather than having to buy everything yourself.
