I have been with DFH since 2022. The staff from customer service to the review team have all been helpful and friendly during my experience and I can’t wait to complete my plan with them ASAP.

Sharelle was such a lovely and calm person to talk to. Explaining in detail going through my annual review. Really made me feel comfortable.. Coming to DFH with my situation was definitely the right move.. I can finally see light is just around the corner for me and I am extremely pleased and thankful for DFH for their time, dedication and Guidance in assisting me.. and speaking with Sharelle today has just put me in a positive peace of mind and has cemented my and decision to turn DFH for help. 🙂

would recommend if anyone is struggling just pick up the phone. There's no judgement at all.

I have always found DFH a great company to deal with. Today Sharelle exceeded this!
Its rare to find people who can be both super professional AND friendly AND fun!
Sharelle listened to me, laughed with me, sympathised with me, commended me, and was an all round pleasure to spend time on the phone with.
(Usually a call that lasts longer than 30 mins becomes a chore, but not today)

If you want to end up paying double that you actually have in debt then go with this company. Most of your money will go straight into their pockets instead of paying off your debts. My debt amount wasn’t huge, I’ve been sent my statement that I owe nearly £10,000! And it’s going to take nearly 15 years to pay!!

I’ve taken it upon myself to find a company that isn’t going to rip people off and I’ll be paying my debts amount instead of double it and this company absolutely ruining my credit score even more!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Norma at DFH.
I’ve had a lot of stress recently with health concerns and debt. Norma was beautifully mannered on the phone, explained everything thoroughly and really reassured me about some issues I’ve been having. I gave her quite a lot of things to go through and explain, and she knew exactly what she was doing. Normas confidence in her job, her upbeat attitude and reassurance has made me feel so much better about my financial future.
It won’t let me leave a Google review but I just wanted to thank her for making me feel so much better.

I have asked the same question for the last 4 years and I still haven't had an answer, seems that once you are on their books as long as you pay each month they don't care. Thinking about looking for other options at this point.

I am going to write a very honest reflection about my experience with DFH, because whilst there are a few good points about DFH there are also a lot of points of concern to raise.
I have taken my time in thinking what score to give them, and 3 stars I feel is fair. I will start positive, they take the initial stress away, they say, "Hand everything to us, pay no more, leave with us and that is that, and by doing so we will take up to £50 a month for the work" One doesn't think about the £50 initially, and this is where DFH are a bit cheeky or cunning, because that is a lot, when your paying the Min Term of £100 a month, and £50 is going to you DFH. Initially your just happy to finally handover the stress, but once that path has cleared and your looking ahead, only then do you see how damaging the £50 a month really is, DFH sort yourselves out £20 Max per month is all that is needed, you do a few phonecalls, couple of spreadsheets, done! £50 please! No, sorry this is NOT acceptable! So this is why they don't get 5 stars for me.
The next reason is around mistakes made. There were a few errors that were made from DFH around my plan, especially towards the end once I had decided to pay early they agreed to a final amount, which I paid quickly, but then it took them over a month before they finalised everything, and by doing so nearly took another £50 of my money because another payment was due (they hadn't updated their system!) Anyway, to their credit and I am always fair with these reviews, to their credit they made up for their mistake and whilst the error they made was big (they told me I owed them £783, but then it was actually £980) they agreed for me to pay the lower amount of £783 rather than £980 as it was their mistake not mine, so to their credit they kindly paid £200 off, but the stress I was under for a month becasue whilst i knew I had paid my amount in full, the creditors were saying it hadn't arrived their end and I was getting letters, texts, emails and all sorts threatning action if I don't pay up, so my July-Sept was not pleasant at all, so that is why DFH do not get 4 stars for me!
Overall 3 stars reflect accurately my experience. So anyone thinking of joining DFH, be cautious, you will have to be a monthly fee of around £50, and thats half if you pay £100 Min fee per month, so it will take you longer to pay off the debt, but they keep getting your £50 per month, and they said this is time and Admin! Don't believe for one second that they work hard for that £50, so before applying think hard whether you need DFH, maybe do a free dent management plan instead.

Don’t do it unless you’re in crippling debt!!! I was finding it difficult to pay off my debts each month. All totalling around £6000, I rang this company DFH and all seemed good. They went through affordability and I told them I could pay around £400 each month. And at the end of the phone call just before I signed the application to begin the process, he told me they’d be £2000 added interest!!! Which is absolutely bonkers on a £6000 debt.

So I’d be paying just over £8000 back if I was to go through this process. I declined and said I’d rather just carry on paying the debts off, ended the phone call. Then the harassment started, around 5 more emails and 8 more whatsapp texts from Cristian, who I was on the phone with. Asking me if I’m sure I don’t want to go through the process, and if I pay more off each month I won’t occur as much interest. I’m almost positive they get commission off these debts.

I declined, and he also rang me like 4 more times. Until I told him to stop because I DO NOT want to go through the process, as I’ve said multiple times.
This company is like the plague, praying on the vulnerable. And making money off their hardship, I honestly don’t know how this is legal. Companies like this need shutting down ASAP!!!!!

AVOID AVOID!!!!

I wish I had never bothered. So hard to make contact, my debt is not being paid or updated correctly and most of my monthly repayment is going straight into their own pockets leaving my debt much worse!!! If you wish for your credit score to get absolutely destroyed then this company is the right choice for you. If you wish to get your credit back on track….. do NOT use this company!!!!!!
