We take great pride in supplying roses of the highest quality. If any roses are damaged on receipt or fail to grow when our planting guidelines are followed, we will replace them free of charge.

2 damaged roses and a disappointing experience
I ordered a David Austin Emily Brontë rose as a special birthday gift for my sister. Unfortunately, the first rose arrived damaged, which was very disappointing given the occasion.
David Austin arranged a replacement, but sadly, the second rose arrived in an even worse condition. I had to contact customer services again to raise another complaint.
My experience with customer services was mixed. The initial response felt rather rude and dismissive, which was disappointing when I was simply trying to resolve an issue with a special gift. The subsequent response was more understanding, and I appreciated that the damage to the second rose was acknowledged.
David Austin ultimately issued a full refund, which I appreciate. However, a refund was never what I wanted. I wanted a beautiful, healthy rose to be delivered to my sister.
After two damaged roses, I was left questioning whether I could trust David Austin to deliver a rose in good condition in the future. The experience has unfortunately left me reluctant to order from them again.
I hope David Austin will look closely at its packaging, handling and delivery processes, because customers deserve to receive the quality of rose they have ordered, especially when it is intended as a gift.
Overall, a disappointing experience, despite the eventual refund.

Having reviewed your case personally, I was pleased that we were able to resolve matters for you. That said, I appreciate that a refund was not the outcome you had hoped for, and that what you really wanted was for your sister to receive a beautiful, healthy rose.
I am also sorry to hear that you felt our initial response was dismissive. We always want our customers to feel listened to and supported, so it's disappointing to learn that we fell short on this occasion.
