We booked our wedding with Danish Island Weddings.Yuki and Louise as well as the team was simply great and highly professional! Before, during and after the weddings they were very helpful, flexible and available at all time. We also worked with the photographer Neli Garnet and had our wedding dinner at Restaurant Mumm. Even the place where we stayed was recommended by Yuki and you can trust in her recommendations. In general the whole collaboration worked so smooth.
Louise took over the flowers and table decoration at the restaurant. Without many words she knew what we liked and created a beautiful set up in the restaurant.

Our wedding was a paradise.
Besides the unique location on the beach, we had a wonderful team by our side. Yuki and her lovely sisters took such wonderful care of everything. The flowers, the bathhouse, the decorations - everything was so lovingly and tastefully prepared.
We fell in love not only with the gorgeous island, but also with the people who live here.
A big thank you goes to our photographer Neli Garnet as well. She is the best wedding photographer for us. On our special day, she captured enchanting moments with her camera with a lot of love and a good eye. Thank you for that!

By chance we found out about the possibility of getting married on the Danish island of Ærø. And when we came across Danish Island Weddings via google, we were immediately thrilled by their concept, so simply perfect for the beautiful island. Although we had decided to get married on very short notice during our vacation trip, Yuki and her team made everything possible that we still got a suitable date and within three weeks the entire planning for our wedding was in place. Yuki took care of our requests at all times and made all wishes come true for us. Although we had communicated primarily by email and once by video call beforehand, we arrived at Aero feeling quite relaxed as we could be sure that everything was arranged according to our wishes. And so it was. One day before the wedding we were warmly welcomed by Yuki and DIW and went over all the details again. On the day of the wedding everything was perfectly arranged: the location for the wedding ceremony was beautifully decorated with flowers, the champagne reception with our own playlist, the most delicious wedding cake we have ever eaten, the bouquet and flower crown - everything was lovingly arranged and prepared. In addition, Yuki helped us book beautiful accommodation and the restaurants. The icing on the cake of our wedding were the photos of Neli, who accompanied us almost the whole day and captured the memories in gorgeous photos. We still get goosebumps when we look at them. In summary we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful (elopement) wedding and are very grateful for DIW's great services!

It was a wonderful experience to have Neli at our wedding. Professionalism is evident in her work, and her photographs are excellent.

We are a Lesbian couple from Hong Kong. The team of Danish Island Weddings gave us a lot of support in arranging the whole wedding ceremony, all the way including transportation and accommodation.

We could not have had a great and relaxing time on Ærø Island without their help. We have a lot of communication before the wedding day, Yuki and the team are so reliable and fast respond to our every concerns. Everything on the wedding day is just so perfect for us, we love the decoration and all the arrangements, everyone is so nice and sweet.

As we came with a lot of luggage, the team even drive us to the pier and help to arrange the transport for us to go back to Copenhagen City, which really gave us a big help, and being so touched!

We had Neli Garnet to be our wedding photographer. Neli is so sweet and nice to discuss with us about photographing details all the way before we arrive.

It was a rainy day on our wedding day, but Neli still captured many great moments both indoors and outdoors, which hard to tell it was raining. The street view and nature seem even more beautiful under her lens. And we appreciate a lot for her to drive us around the island to chase the sunshine and look for great views.

We love that every photo tells a process and captured our true personality. Every photo by Neli is a valuable memory for us and we are so grateful to have her to be our wedding photographer.

We got married at the lighthouse in Aero with Yuki's help from Danish Island Weddings.

From the very first email until the ceremony, we felt we were in very good hands.

Email communication was always super quick and helpful.

When we met in person the day before our wedding, again, everything was very calm and relaxed and we were really excited to enjoy the following day.

The company is exceptional. Yuki has assisted every step of the way and ensured that things went smoothly for us. We had a beautiful ceremony and Yuki took care of everything. The island is beautiful as well. We could not have had a more magical wedding.

We just got married in June 2023 with the lovely help of Danish Island Weddings and we can't stop thinking what a wonderful day that was!

Anna, our main point of contact from the beginning, was the most professional, caring, informative, and easy to communicate with person we could have asked for. She went from sorting out our chaotic document situation to booking us a lovely lunch after the ceremony. We never once felt stressed or unsure about our choice, from the very first email a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders and we knew then we made the best decision we could have made for such an important occasion.

We stayed at their beautiful Elly's Cottage, where we felt at home and relaxed, surrounded by everything we could possibly need. The day before the wedding we met them at the Old Merchant's House where they showed us the room, ran us through the ceremony schedule and details, and made us feel just so comfortable and excited!

On the day of the wedding, we just felt happy and excited. No stress, no rush, no anxiety - and that was all because of the calm atmosphere they were able to create. And although it was just the two of us, without our family and friends, everything still felt so joyful and festive!

The Old Merchant House was just the loveliest and most peaceful room we've ever - the details and craft that went into every decoration were just incredible. The flowers all around the room, the delicious cake, the boutonniere, the champagne, and the most stunning bouquet - everything was just perfect.

Run by lovely family based out of island itself,
I have been touch with Yuki and her sister more then 1 year to plan and organize wedding,
Unfortunately 2020 pandemic made things worse but still , with great assistance from Yuki we manage to get all in order and got married in Denmark) ,
We wanted family and friends with celebrating event but pandemic did not allowed it,
All official paperwork was organizing and delivered on time by team at Work ,

It was perfect- 100% service and support.

Vom ersten Kontakt bis zum Erhalt der Bilder des Fotoshootings war hier alles perfekt. Beim Einreichen und Zusammenstellen der benötigten Dokumente wurde uns zuvorkommend geholfen, die Organisation von Yuki war hervorragend. Die Location im Kaufmannshaus war soooo schön, die Hochzeitstorte war nicht nur lecker, sondern sah auch toll aus und der Hochzeitsstrauß und Dekoration haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Mehr, als wir es uns erträumt haben. Das Fotoshooting durch Neli Garnet war spaßig, freundlich und so natürlich - und dabei hat uns nicht mal der Regen die Stimmung vermiest.
Die Fotos wurden nach wenigen Tagen bereits zur Verfügung gestellt und sind atemberaubend schön.

Kurz: Es war unsere eigene kleine Traumhochzeit und wir können es zu 100% allen empfehlen, Darüber hinaus sind wir sehr dankbar, dass uns Yuki und Neli stets begleitet haben - wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Everything was really smooth and friendly from the start. The staff is very attentive and they look into every detail, following up constantly on the progress of everything. They are very reachable and even helped us finding a place to stay while in the island.
We had an amazing experience with them for such an important day as your wedding day. I highly recommend them.
