Yuki, Louise, Neli, John, Augusta all did a great job at planning and contributing to the wedding of our dreams! It was just so beautiful and so very well planned. They are all so flexible and patient. They were also able to tailor our special day according to our wishes and special requests.

Yuki & Louise were amazing to work with from day one. Initially, we were a bit worried about getting married in a country we weren't very familiar with and to organise a wedding remotely without actually seeing the locations etc. beforehand. However, after finding and contacting Danish Island Weddings we were put completely at ease. The planning process went very smoothly and Yuki & Louise always responded quickly to all our questions. They guided us through the entire process of getting married in Denmark and helped us every step of the way. Our wedding day in the Old Merchant's House turned out incredibly special and truly perfect - from the organisation, the location, the amazing photographer Neli, the flowers and the cake & champagne as well as all the other small details in between. Lars' "Bang’s Mad & Vinbar" was an excellent recommendation for our dinner as well. It was a day we and our families will cherish and remember forever. Thank you so much again for everything you've done for us!

Planning our beach wedding with Danish Island Weddings was simple and stress-free! Yuki and the whole team were kind and very easy to work with! Decorations, food, and the beach house were all beautiful and our wedding was perfect!

We got married with Danish Island Weddings in The Old Merchants' House on May 30th 2024, and loved every minute of our day! From the moment we first emailed Yuki, she was kind and understanding, helping us with everything, from advising on our application for marriage approval to finding a nail salon in Copenhagen and suggesting amazing restaurants in Ærøskøbing. It was so lovely to finally meet her in Ærø and have her as a witness for our special day! The Old Merchants' House was an incredible place to say our wedding vows and enjoy those first moments as a married couple! The little touches were super special - from the flowers carefully adorning the room to the beautiful glasses we enjoyed tasty bubbly from after the ceremony.

You not only took care of all the arrangements professionally, you also made the event very special with your warmth, patience and kindness. We are overjoyed to have chosen this team for our wedding. The entire planning and coordination were done from Germany and were incredibly easy and smooth – we enjoyed every moment. One day before the wedding, we met in person to discuss the final details. The team is simply charming! Yuki and her team at Danish Island Weddings are a true breath of fresh air! They made our whole experience deeply meaningful, personal and all in a very short window of time as we had scheduled our ceremony very last minute. Theirs is a well oiled machine which really allowed us to enjoy the day rather than stress about anything. We were given excellent recommendations on travel, accommodations, dining, an amazing photographer and really anything we had a question about. My new husband and I are from the US and their care and concern kept the process easy! They even advocated for our approval with the AFL, as we had been stuck in the long application process. We love Danish Island Weddings and wouldn't change a thing if we had to do it all over again.

Louise, Yuki and John were all so attentive, kind, and thoughtful throughout the entire process of planning and organising our wedding. Right from our initial enquiries, Yuki (wedding planner) and Neli (photographer) made the planning of our elopement wedding straightforward and stress-free: they quickly tuned in to what we were looking for, were prompt and really helpful in their email replies, and - most importantly for us - they were super friendly. When we met them both in person the day before the wedding, it felt like we were with friends and they made us feel very special.

On our wedding day, Yuki made the lighthouse look cosy and inviting (on a cold, wet day!) with lots of beautiful details, and Neli worked magic on our generally camera-shy family, giving us a wedding album that we are absolutely delighted with.
