Disappointment.
I submitted a custom shirt order through Custom One’s website using their design tool and provided the layout as requested. After placing the order, I was contacted multiple times asking for additional clarification about sizing and placement.
Despite responding quickly and providing detailed measurements for the design, the process became unnecessarily back-and-forth. Ultimately, they cancelled the order stating they “did not fully understand the requirements” and would not be able to meet my expectations.
They said a full refund was issued and should appear within 1–2 business days. While I appreciate that step, the overall experience was disappointing. I expected a smoother process from a company that specializes in custom printing, especially after submitting the design through their system initially.

In some cases, when a custom design request includes very specific placement or sizing requirements, our production team may reach out to ensure every detail is clearly understood before printing. This extra step is intended to prevent errors and ensure the final custom t-shirt printing meets the customer’s expectations.
In this situation, when we determined that the requirements might not be fully clear or could lead to a result that did not match what you were expecting, the decision was made to cancel the order and issue a full refund rather than proceed with a print that might disappoint you. We always prefer to be transparent and cautious rather than produce a result that doesn’t meet the customer’s vision.
We truly appreciate your understanding and feedback. If you ever decide to try again, our team would be happy to assist with reviewing the design together to ensure everything is perfectly aligned before production begins.
