Curran & Co Surveyors carried out a RICS Level 2 survey for me in September 2022. From the first phone call I had with Sheryl and during other communications with her I found her competent, constructive and friendly. The report I received was very detailed and contained photographs to support and illustrate the comments made. Sheryl provided sensible advice on how various issues could be made sound. I found the experience of dealing with Sheryl comfortable and reassuring.

We were extremely happy with the service we received from Curran & Co. (RICS L2 Survey & Valuation) Sheryl provided us with very detailed and extremely helpful reports. She is highly professional but has a very welcome personal touch. She genuinely cares about her clients and demonstrates a very high level of commitment towards them. If you are contemplating buying a property, you definitely need someone like Sheryl in your corner. She is very thorough and reliable and provides excellent service and excellent value for money,

Professional, detail orientated and friendly. From our first contact, Sheryl carried out some basic research on the house and provided us with an example survey. She talked us through the process and time scales followed by secure payment. She always kept us in the loop and was easy to contact by email. The report was brilliantly in depth, and although overwhelming, Sheryl answered all of my worries, providing reassurance and advice on how to manage the issues and what to address first. For our first home, I’m incredibly grateful we found Sheryl, thank you!

Highly recommend Sheryl, the survey was extremely detailed lots of photos- she knows her stuff and explains things in an easy to understand language. I’m a mature single lady who is moving for the first time alone and finding it overwhelming but Sheryl gave me such confidence from our first contact and guidance that I wasn’t making a mistake with my choice of property. She was happy to speak over phone several times and was always lovely and friendly …. My only downside is that I never actually got to meet her in the flesh 🤩

The report was extremely detailed and informative.
Defects were noted even to the smallest detail,with advice on what was required and how this could be achieved. Again this was very detailed.
All areas were photographed,which assisted in understanding any defects she had noted.
I would advise anyone looking for a surveyor that they will not get better than this firm.

First time property purchase so every house decision came with some form of anxiety.

Newbies will understand. I purchased a level 2 with Sheryl.

- Provided secure payment link for payment which was great as other companies wanted a bank transfer which I did not feel comfortable with at all.

- Provided RICS level 2 form with and what to expect

- Once payment was made she was straight to business and you’ll have your report. No chasing around estate agents

- The report was very overwhelming once received as extremely informative/worrying

- Sheryl put on her email she is happy to run through and give her professional thoughts on the property as they are obliged to nitpick everything for purpose of survey.

Overall
Given I have nothing to compare to being a first time buyer. I felt I received a trustworthy reliable and prompt service. Sheryl gave me more confidence in the property and enabled me to re-negotiate the price of the property saving money.

Was well worth it.

Sheryl has just completed a survey on a property we are purchasing. The Report was very comprehensive with very clear explanations and numerous detailed photographs.
As we are purchasing a property nearly 100 miles away from where we are currently living and had planned a visit, we contacted Sheryl to see if we could get the report back within a few days.
Sheryl got the report back to us in good time after obviously working extremely late as it was after 11pm when she sent the email the same night we requested.
We honestly could not have asked for anything more and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the company.

Sheryl has recently completed a survey on a property we are about to buy. Survey was very comprehensive but good to follow based on the clear explanations and lots of photos. Great service from Curran & Co. Surveyors and all at a very competitive price too. I am always a little wary of instructing house surveys but these guys really excelled and I would highly recommend using their services. They were polite and courteous to both myself and the vendors and everything was completed in little over a week.
