Every product I have tried from Curls Allowed has worked for my type of curly hair. I feel like the products are carefully tested and chosen, I'm never disappointed even if the brand is completely new to me. Great hair products sent
I never go shopping for different hair stuff so I like trying the products that are new to me, for curly hair , sent to my door and good value.. I am 64, I have a few long time favourites so I go for the ‘one off box’ every few weeks ..very pleased ..

I am a newbie natural - tighter curls/coils
After having recently transitioned from relaxed hair to my natural hair I am learning my hair all over again.This is a great way to try new products out at an affordable price.
Now, granted it can be expected that not all products will work for everyone and I have experienced this with a conditioner that came in the May box. However, the same thing can happen if I went into the shop and purchased it myself.
There was also a gel which is a now a staple that retailed around £18. Almost as much as the box and there is no way I would have heard of the that brand let alone purchased it at that price.
So overall it is a win for me. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I found one of the boxes to have two products from the same range which were too drying. So I did not really get much use from that months box.
I am still a loyal subscriber, nonetheless.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Subscription boxes can be a great way to discover new and previously untried brands and products for a fraction of the cost, however it does come with a certain amount of risk that at times you will have products that are not as suited to your needs.
We do offer an option of regular products or free from boxes, but cannot offer specific types of products ie coconut-free, glycerin-free etc as this would make it difficult for us to curate boxes based on individual preferences. Therefore it is rather unfortunate that we have been given a 1 star rating based on this rather than your overall experience after having 4 boxes with us.
We are more than happy to confirm with our subscribers if the products included in a particular month would have any specific ingredients they would prefer not to have, and subscribers then have the option to skip that month, which we would be happy to do that for you too if you should require it.
