Basically the same as everyone else. Was planning to buy a number of dresses for my pre-wedding events so started by buying only one to get the size right. Sizes run small, they don't support international returns (despite being required to do so by EU law). The finally agreed to it but didn't provide a return label - shipment got stuck in customs as a result due to confusion around import duties. Had to file a complaint with the consumer protection bureau and my credit card company.
1) Don't buy here if you're outside of the US 2) if you're in the US and need any support from customer service, be careful.

Agree, not worth even 1 star. They don’t offer returns or exchanges outside of the US, but it’s in the fine print with the wording “international orders” which is unclear to which country! I offered to pay for the size exchange or the return and they said no to both! Got my regular size and it’s huge on me. So now I have a £600 dress that doesn’t fit me! Absolutely crazy to not offer returns or exchanges and incredibly bad customer service.
Worst customer service …
I purchased a good amount of clothing 2/25. I didn't realized one dress had a snag that eventually will become a whole in the back of the red dress. I guess they don't have a manager today and the two people there didn't even care to help. The first employee said there was nothing there. Really?. I explained I had unforeseen situations come up. Again they didn't care. As matter of fact the second employee walked away as I was saying they lost a customer. At this store they will pretend to be nice to make the sale but when it comes to customer service forget it. They are not very well trained in customer service. You are better of buying from Nordstrom if you like this brand. They do know customer service!
Bought shoes for my wife
Bought shoes for my wife. First time, although they were same shoe size, one was bigger than the other. Netaporter exchanged them no issues. Second pair, one of the heels fell apart. Cheap made, not the quality you expected for 600 dollars shoes. Never again
International orders do not allow for…
International orders do not allow for return which is shocking, I didn’t realise what they meant by finale sale. Sales are normally discounts in the UK so I ignored this. On top of this the customer needs to pay any import taxes and VAT which is also shocking. They don’t even tell you upfront how much these cost. I will never buy from them again, I wish people could see these reviews before they buy as I didn’t.
Improve Your International Returns Policy
I hope that you consider improving your international returns process as this is a very negative customer experience when you refuse an item to be returned from Australia. I will not be shopping with you again until you catch up with best practice and e-commerce standards in 2024.
If you want to get rid of money this is the place!

SEARCH FOR A PROMO CODE FIRST
Be very careful with ordering from Cult Gaia. They have tons of promo codes online for up to 50% off all items, so make sure you do a quick google search to get one of their promo codes before ordering. Also their sizing runs VERY small so doesn’t fit well TBH.
GET STUCK WITH PRICEY PIECES
There is a 7 to 14 day return policy. If you are new customer to this Cult Gaia be aware. You will get stuck with expensive pieces and no grace no customer service, the answer is "no" for an exchange, store credit or anything. If you have money to waste, this is it.
I am writing about last two recent orders
I am writing about last two orders. First one consisted of Bijan shoes and coral earrings and matching dress. The earring came with inappropriate packing so the earrings were badly damaged and then they requested picture of damage to replace it under this condition that it is still available and it took so long that I could not use the set outfit on time with earrings.
The second time, I ordered the Sangria dress and paid $ 28 extra overnight fee and paid on Friday after 12 pm so they should process it the next day which is Saturday. Where you select the shipping option there is no weekend exclusion only talked about next day. I received it afternoon of Tuesday.
In General in every inquiry rhat I made with customer service, I got a timely response but snobbish and cold!
For the price of their items they are not professionals in my opinion.
When companies pay for marketing to acquire new customers and they loose existing customers, that is a sign about their business wisdom!
Luckily, we have many options and I spend my money some where else.
Beautiful brand
I find cult gaia a really inspiring brand. Recently I visited their Miami pop up and was blown away by the amazing designs and lovely sales assistants. I tried on lots of pieces and it was a struggle to make a choice as so many of the items fit so well and were really unique. I ended up buying a beautiful gown and i can't wait to return to their store one day.
Rush shipment
I had ordered a bikini that I needed for at vacation in just a few days. I was scared it wouldn't arrive on time, so I mailed them and they made sure to make is a rush shipment. I got the items the following business day, which is amazing as I reside in Europe. I also did not need to pay any taxes or duties, so I am completely satisfied. One minor note is though that they only accept returns from within US, so if you're ordering from outside of US be aware of that.
Bad service
I try to buy a bag, they offer me a 10% discount for the first shop and when I wanted to apply it didn’t work. Then I received an email reminding me my 10% discount and that I has some items in the bag. I try again to buy and was not posible. Contact them and they told me that item has not discount. So, why they send an email with the item I pick saying 10% discount.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. They have interesting designs but the quality is cheap. They sent me a defective dress - looked like someone tried it on, snagged it in a bunch of places and returned. I contacted them via their online support, no response. Ended up having to go through my credit card to get them to respond. They finally replied back and sent me a shipping label to return the defective dress and then deducted the cost of shipping from the return! These people have no idea what quality service is and don’t stand behind their product. They charge astronomical prices and then expect you either to keep the defective merchandise or foot the bill to return it back. Take your business somewhere else, where it will be appreciated, this company doesn’t deserve your hard earned money.
Scam Likely, cheap quality. An overpriced internet brand not a luxury brand
The quality is terrible. I have things that I purchased almost 10 years ago from Target and Walmart that hold up better.
I purchased pants from Cult Gaia and after wearing them once the hook is loose and needs to be altered. The top I bought has strings coming out from every direction, and I only tried it on I haven’t even worn it yet, I would return it but of course it is impossible to get your money back. You would think if customers are spending $500+ for one item they would make an effort to respond to emails or answer the phone.
If you like the styles, consider searching for a cheaper alternative the designs aren’t original so it’s not that hard to find..

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I orered a dress for my semi formal around a month ago , i have ordered from Cult Gaia before and have had amazing experience. Firstly, the webiste glitched out when i was purchasing and charged my card TWICE! So i emailed asking them to cancel and to refund one of the orders, they repnded with "as a one time courtesy" which i thought was a ridiclous responce considereing it is simpling doing the right thing when there website glitched. After a few days i have heard any tracking numbers etc, when there website clearly states 2 days for the purchase to be dispatched. They never replied so i emailed again, they said it had been shipped and sent me a tracking number although nothing came up through DHL connected to that tracking number. i waiting a few days before i reached out to DHL to see if the tracking number would update. DHL had amazing responce and said there had been no tracking number linked with a parcel. Very confused i emailed again. They said they would look into it and no further repose. I have been on there live chat (where i am in australia so due to time frams i have to be up at rideclous hours just to speak to them). Where they said this item as still not been shipped. Even though they told me before hand they had. I have been waiting and waiitng for repsonce, i have messaged there instagram, commented on there tiktok etc. I did get a respnce saying they have finially shipped it (on sunday) and it sould come in 3-5 business days, althought tracking nymber still not working. So annoying they dont have a phone number and i assume for this reason!!! Over all customer servie is ridecouls and this was a $4000 dress and i am baffeled that no matter what price this is how they are treated. when i spead this much money on a dress i expect so so much more. My semi is in 4 days and i have done shoes, bag, hair, makeup etc all surrounding this dress and i am still praying the dress will show up if not i will have to buy a different one on they day. which is so heartbreaking since this is truely my dream dress and i was going to have my barbie momemt. They seriously need to fix this sTUFF up and there customer service is appalling. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS BRAND AT ALL AND WILL NOT BE PURCHASING AGAIN.
Terrible customer service-beware!
This is one of my favorite brands of all time but I recently pre-ordered a dress, due to ship June 15.. I wasn’t getting home until the end of May but they shipped it immediately,( May 9th ) it doesn’t fit and now they won’t take it back because I’m out of the 7 day return window.. I write and write to explain that they shipped a month earlier than expected and i was not home yet. I even offered to take a company credit . No one writes me back.. there is no Customer Service phone number.. The dress was almost $1000.00 This is terrible business practice.. Now I need to pursue this with the credit card company .so disappointed.. Beware of buying directly from this company .
Cult Gaia has no customer service.
Cult Gaia is a shady company with no customer service. They portray an image of being trendy and professional, but it’s all fake. Here is my experience from buying a dress from their site.
They have no customer service:
1) I called them. The phone number on their website goes to a cell phone voicemail.
2) I tried the live chat feature on their website. It doesn’t work. It’s for show only.
3) I emailed them. They responded 4 days later.
They have scummy marketing tactics:
1) The 10% off pop-up on their site is a gimic to get your email. They will not give 10% off. I tried the code. It says not applicable. Many other reviews mention the same. It’s a scam.
2) I’ve been getting spam emails from them daily. I mark their email as spam on my Google account, yet another email goes to my inbox the next day. They have a shady tactic to avoid spam on Google. I had to set a filter to block their email from my inbox.
They have zero customer service and shady marketing tactics. It’s unfortunate because their clothes are nice, but it makes me super skeptical of the quality of their items.
Beware before buying from this new company. It’s obvious that profits are prioritized and they don’t care one bit about customers.
