I recently hired a small truck to move. The truck was very new and had everything we needed including a tail lift and backing camera.

The service, the quality of the vans, the ease in which we were able to pick up and drop off, the staff...it was all a great experience.

Very flexible with working my booking dates around their opening times, simple hire and return process.

Very helpful with quote and questions, and reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

We rented two cars with Cross Country, one in the South Island and one in the North Island of New Zealand. I can say that both experiences were excellent with Cross Country !

Both cars were super clean and exactly like the descriptions. We were also surprised that the cars were well equipped (GPS, line detectors, phone connection, etc...) which is not that common in rented cars that have usually the minimal equipment.

The staff was great, pick up and drop off at the airport was quick and comfortable (but you need to call them, which is not that easy when you do not have a NZ phone number). The employees took the time with us to explain the cars, and sent us all the pictures of the car for previous scratches as well as the documents proving that the cars were well checked (oil level, wheels, water liquid...) which was quite reassuring to us.
The amount deposit is only 200 NZD, and was reimbursed immediately the day after we dropped off the car.

Also, they will not force you to take the more expensive insurance at the contrary of other rental companies if you do not want to. And they will not charge you for small scratches on the cars caused by "normal use" of the vehicle. Be aware that in NZ, you will receive lots of gravel...

I totally recommend this company for NZ.

Worked out Exactly as promised well done and because I was able to return the truck earlier than expected they gave me a refund

Charged a cleaning fee and said the floors were sticky. Some before and after photos/ evidence would be appreciated as it was mopped before being returned. Also no communication that the card the refund was meant to be on didn’t work. I hadn’t heard for 3 days anything so phoned to see what had happened.

Friendly, helpful staff who were able to provide me with a vehicle even though I was a day earlier than planned. Vehicle supplied was in very good condition.
