CAR HIRE NOT TRANSFER ISSUE
I find it impossible to agree with the rave reviews on this site as our experience with them was average , that being generous . We were a family of 4 plus a tenth month old baby, who hired a car from them for a two week family holiday on all the recommendations from this site . The cost all in , with several free extras we appreciated was 640 .40 euros for the two weeks . On arrival at Alicante airport we were met by the rep, an initially pleasant lady, who completed the hand over but had no idea how to fit the free car seat provided , expecting us to know how to do so .The car was pre ISOFIX and her frustration and huffiness in not being able to fit it resulted in her barging my daughter out of the way, as she became more hot and bothered .The car seat was never fitted properly ,and we ended up doing our best with one of our number holding it in place wobbling about unsafe in the back . Once we arrived it became apparent that our baby smelt of urine transferred from the seat which was tatty, filthy , and stinking of it. We then needed to change the baby and give him a wash as soon as we arrived . The car seat which was free to be fair , was disgusting and unusable , so we then bought one of your own from a local hypermarket , and by the time we had bought a second bag to bring it home in, and booked it onto our flight , we were down about £100, money not everyone could afford in tough times , we were lucky to be able to. We have addressed all our issues with the company who I know will point out the seat was free, and deny that the rep was rude. The car we hired (and it was not high season and had been booked since February) was a 12 year old high mileage 4 door Fiat Punto with the usual array of Spanish war wounds on the bodywork. I am a chauffeur by trade and have driven many many hire cars over the years abroad and this was one of the worst , gasping its way up the hills and being a pig to get into gear . I find it difficult to understand in these time of climate change why a nearly teenage old diesel is still being flogged to death up and down the AP7. It is probably worth less that the hiring charge on the open market . Again to be fair , the car was clean inside and out and everything worked, at least for a few days . After three days the aircon would only work on setting 4 , (nothing 1 -3 ) which sounded like a plane taking off, made conversation impossible and turned the car into an ice box .Either that or a sweltering sauna if turned off, so we approached the company politely requesting that the car be swapped over and at the same time the festering car seat now just taking up space and unusable was taken away .The response was curt , defensive and seemed to be blaming us for the issues . They agreed an exchange, but on their terms of us having to spend half a day of our precious holiday doing a 120 mile round trip to meet their rep at a specific time that suited them . There was no effort to be flexible, meet half way, and them coming to us , well forget that . So we kept the car and it got us about , unpleasantly , for a week or so. We did feel that once the cash was handed over at the airport we were very much on our own . No customer service , no empathy , and no aftercare , which is the reason that I urge caution in hiring their cars , and NEVER use a car seat from them even if its free. I would like to finish on the positive by saying that they communicate very well, it might not be what you need from them , but they always got back within a few hours . The concept of handing over cash at the airport , for us , was great , as they never had our credit card details that gave us great peace of mind in knowing that our card wasn't going to pillaged on the run up to Christmas ,as sometimes happens in Spain at the lower end of the car hire business. Again to be fair to them the terms and policy of their agreements are plain, clear and easy to understand and the cost remained the same from February when we booked the car . My advice would be to avoid hiring from them due to the age of the car and lack of customer aftercare . It could be that their transfers are great , they seem to be, and I have no reason to doubt that , but their car hire , not for us. I hope that this is a fair review and helps others make an informed choice as to whether to use them or not.

Fantastic service! The drivers were friendly, met us straight off the plane and carried our luggage. Andrew was also extremely helpful in getting everything arranged. Both trips were smooth sailing. We'll certainly be using Costa Blanca Transfers next time.

Brilliant , just returned from Benidorm , Costa Blanca transfers were waiting for us and made it so easy as we were a party arriving from 2 different airports ✈️(Gatwick and Manchester ) so speedy and took us to our apartments also taking us to pick keys up in the town made our trip easier arriving so late we were unaware were to go … the pick up also arriving early for us and musnt forget Sam our lovely driver very patient and polite , spoke really good English defo book with you again 👏👏👏the best Thankyou so much x

We have just returned from our trip to Benidorm. Our accommodation was changed last minute by the booking agent and I contacted Andrew. Within minutes he replied and amended our transfer drop off. The driver was in the arrivals hall and we were quickly on our way. Unfortunately we had to change our return pick up and Andrew sorted it.
