We used Alicante Transfers for our return journey from the Calypso Hotel Benidorm to Alicante Airport and what a remarkable experience we had.... I booked a 5/6 people carrier and a 16 seater minibus showed up. Our lady driver was very helpful and pleasant. We would definitely use Alicante Transfers again. Fantastic service, well done folks!!!!!!

Our flight was delayed. But we did not worry because the Alicante Transfer website states 'we track all flights for delays and will be there when your plane lands'... and guess what, they wasn't. Told us we would need to claim off our insurance or travel company. Would not refund us. Avoid...... do not use!!!!!!!!

Left stranded at airport !
10:25pm flight landed, and in arrivals at 10:40pm with no driver with my name to be found. I called the “emergency” number and was told the driver knows we are waiting and has been held up in traffic (which didn’t seem to affect the two dozen or so other drivers who did turn up). At 11:15pm I called the “emergency” number again and there was no answer. I tried the number 10 times more with no answer so had to give up and take a taxi.
I paid 100 euros and got a receipt from the taxi driver which I didn’t check till next morning (my only mistake). The receipt was a waste of paper, having wrong amount on it. (Correct distance and date on it though)
I messaged Alicante transfers next morning and they behaved like an insurance company wriggling out of a claim. I was immediately refunded the first leg of my transfer without question, but they were not interested in refunding the taxi fare due to the receipt.
So, they knew I was stranded for 90 minutes, knew I took a taxi, knew the current taxi fare from the airport, but passively suggested I may be pulling a fast one, so would not reimburse the fare. I then said I did not trust them to show up for my return transfer to the airport and requested a full refund of their fees, which was granted - probably to get rid of me!
I’m sure when the driver shows up, things will run smoothly, but if he doesn’t , you are very much on your own ! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Worst transfer/taxi service around Alicante transfers, our flight was delayed and once we arrived at midnight there was no taxi insight where on arrivals you know the score everyone has name boards or phone held up ect we waited an extra hour has the last few stragglers come through we had 2 children with us and decided to call/message to then get an emails notification saying sorry we couldn't find a driver because your flight was delayed and ther policy is 1 hour max for delay then told we will have to claim back from our air operator which you can't do. Then we had to pay out another 100 euros to get to our hotel in benidorm at 1am even though wenhad pre paid for our taxi then on return the transfer was 30 min late after we made numerous calls and messages and just made our return flight.
Was so pissed off with them leaving us stranded with kids in tow and not offering us a refund is just beyond a joke AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The best transfer company out there. Booked a private transfer, and was perfect from start to finish, great communication from the company ( and I had to change it a few times)

No driver on arrival waited 20mins then coming home turned up late .Wouldn't have minded had it been the first time but used them for years and have let me down 3 times now .So that's that never again! Ian from carrickfergus

Was worried after reviews but driver arrived on time with a nice larger car that suited our group. No complaints.

The taxi from the airport was OK,book for 8 adults and 2 young children (requested child seats which was arranged) but when the taxi turned up no child seats.

Returning from benidorm a nightmare,
Booked for.07.40 ,flight 10.40 .
Taxi eventually turned up at 09.00 after many calls ,many promises, no calls returned as promised.
The driver that eventually turned up(with child seats this time) managed to navigate the traffic to get us there and we had a massive 6 minutes to spare before boarding closed.
Would I use again or recommend, 100% no.

Awful company, booked for a collection and return for benidorm.
arrived at the airport to which our driver was stood with the name of a gentlemen. he was stood the whole time we looked for our driver, even though we asked multiple times if he was sure he wasnt for us. after going back and forth with the company they must've called and then he answered to my name and admitted the fault.
collection was arranged for 3am coming back. i noticed i had been removed from the groupchat they add you in after the intial pick up. its now 330am and no transfer had arrived. the gent i kept calling just kept saying he would call me back - he didn't each time. resulting in us getting taxis or risk missing our flight. the company was a joke and now I'm trying to chase a refund with no response. not sure how this company has so many reviews as in our first taxi he had multiple people calling him demanding to know where their transfers are. AVOID!

We've just returned from Benidorm having used this company. My initial booking was based on price and a Facebook groups recommendations. I have to say they were exceptional. Smart cars and lovely professional drivers. We were taken swiftly and safely to and from Alicante directly to our accommodation in Benidorm. We were delayed on arrival but our driver was there. On return our driver was there exactly at the time I was notified by the app. All I can say is AT were great for us and can only recommend.

We have used Alicante transfers on a few occasions and have found them to be cost competitive and reliable. On our last trip we lost a passport in the taxi. It was quickly found and returned to the hotel the next day. Excellent service.

Great transfer service. Used many times and they have never disappointed. They go beyond for people in need to helping families and people in need on holiday at no cost. Great team run by David McQueen

Avoid.ripping customers off. We booked a returning taxi however the day before we was due to come jet2 had to reschedule our flight due to the weather. I rang Alicante travel and asked if they could send a taxi later that that day. The lady who picked up the phone was no sorry you will have to reschedule another taxi and pay the full amount again. I asked can't you ring the driver and ask explain the situation as it was the day before with plenty of notice. Only was I can help is if you book and pay for another taxi thats the only way I can help. She went on to say we could claim the money from Jet2 I rang Jet 2 and they said no because they gave us plenty of notice and the taxi service we had booked with was very unfair. I used this taxi service for 8 years and all I wanted was a time change . But no all she could say you pay again I will book you another. By the sound of it it's been taken over . Avoid we are going to try and get our money by the bank. Hopefully 🙏🏼

Definitely book these guys with caution.
They have the best reviews out there, but I’m guessing they delete any negative reviews as mine got deleted and then blocked from a group which I later found out that they run the group for free advertising and probably give the mods a huge discount.
The first pick up was fine, but the return wasn’t the best. Arrived an hour late for pick up and after speaking on the phone to them they said it was due to traffic, the pick up was 6.50am on a Sunday! There was no traffic! Would have been easier to just tell me the truth. Just be wary! Shocking service and no apology for being late etc.

Picked up at airport and looked the part,suited and booted 10/10.

Pickup for return journey to airport....well, not sure if this is the same company.

Taron rang to say he'd be late by 10mins...no issue there. When he arrived he had a colleague or someone he knew in passenger seat, wearing a tracksuit and rode all way to airport with us, when we've paid for a private hire ride.

Absolutely disgusted by this hence the 3 star.

Points that could be better - the email confirmation tells you to look for someone with your name but actually they have a booth at the back of Alicante Airport arrivals. If i had known this it would have saved me a good 10 minutes... the desk did call me on my mobile eventually tho so all was resolved.

Also the telephone numbers on the email are not correct - those on Google are right and they are manned out of office hours

Driver on way to hotel was polite and helpful - it was in a mini van but not overly bothered about that

Return journey to airport - driver was in a nice car with shirt and tie on - very smart but sadly was 25 minutes late due to witnessing an accident. There were no proactive intial updates from Alicante Transfers so we had to call and then we were updated well from that point. Guess the driver could not use his mobile as with Police. Even so we were at the airport in good time tho as they build in some time for these types of events

We arrived at Alicante airport after our flight but there was no one there to meet us after booking a private taxi transfer, went to there desk and called there number, a guy came over and met us and took us to our vehicle, it was a minibus towing a trailer, the journey was so slow we was hoping for a car! Coming home was the the same again, minibus which was baking hot inside, driver had all the windows down so couldn't feel any air con, the driver was constantly texting on his phone the whole journey, late braking and swerving into other lanes, it was a horrendous journey, I will never use these again especially when you have a driver putting your life at risk texting the whole of the journey.

Can’t fault them, had no issue, guy picking us up was brand new despite us being a bit merry by that point (drunk) and same on the way back. Would definitely use again, whole process was easy.
