We received this coffee machine and the milk spout cleaning brush was damaged, tried emailing over and over again and receive no response whatsoever.

Nooit meer bij Cookinglife!
Ik heb vorig jaar november een serviesset besteld waarvan bij levering enkele borden zwaar beschadigde waren. Na telefonisch contact met de klantenservice kreeg ik nieuwe borden toegestuurd die wederom beschadigd waren. Ik heb toen wéér contact opgenomen, maar kreeg dit keer via de mail te horen dat de borden pas in april weer op voorraad zijn, maar als ik daar niet op wilde wachten ik het bedrag dan gecrediteerd zou krijgen. Nou…ik wacht nog steeds op mijn geld! Na meerdere mails en een klacht ingediend te hebben krijg ik geen reactie terug van Cookinglife. De klantenservice is ongehoord slecht! Zo ga je niet met je klanten om!
Item never came
Ordered an item worth 50 euro, was told it shipped and have been waiting over a month for it to come from the Netherlands to Ireland. No response from them when I raised the issue. Have had to request a charge-back from Visa.
Wouldn't bother with them again.

I received my order on January 23rd. Two really expensive stainless steel pots. I already own two so I presumed they'll be the same only one of the pots had a very very loose handle and after looking through the manual there was no way to remedy this.
I contacted cookinglife the same day and I at the very least expected acknowledgement of my query. No response. After a few days I followed up, no response again.
I then saw that they had a Whatsapp function so I decided to give that a go to no avail (no responses at all!) and to this very day despite following up they've yet to respond! I will take you to court if you do not action a refund or a replacement!
What a scam.

Packaging WAS superb, quality - just go to ikea
Everything about the service and delivery was superb. Packaged with care and delivered in one piece. Something to also be attributed to my local post office - they take care with packages and dont toss them around whether or not there are enough "fragile" stickers on them.
Only reason to take one star is what i ordered itself had more imperfections in design than i hoped. Out of 6 plates 1 or two were more brown than black same with bowls so it looks mismatched. My OCD is not liking the variation. It was fine when 6 large bowls arrived pure black and 6 small bowls all were more brown, that way they still matched. But when 6 pieces each have 1-2 major colour variation out of the lot, plus a lot of white spots where glaze didn't cover whole are well enough - its a pity that quality wasnt as expected.
EDIT: Put all plates in the dishwasher on their own and tada, one plate has chipped from just being washed. Mailed them, on the same day, literally 2 hours after this review; no response, today is the 18th. Changing this to 1star, plates clearly not suitable to be washed in dishwasher even tho they say they are safe to use in microwave, oven and dishwasher. Unacceptably low quality, zero communication. Its still shocking - but 300quid for the set was a fair price apparently so they wont acknowledge quality issues for the set.
Return process is painful.
I bought a SMEG kettle from these guys. It arrived with a 2 plug pin, living in Ireland this doesnt suit our plug sockets, So I returned it (my fault for not checking which plug it came with)
However the return process with CookingLifeEU has been atrocious. It's been a 2.5 weeks sitting at "returned" status on their website. I've tried emailing & calling with my ref no. but no luck. I should also note, I sent it back the day I recieved it, well within the 14 day return period.

I would give no stars if I could. My order was ‘dispatched’ within 30mins of me making it! Of course that was just an untruthful automated message. It was expected between 2 and 4 days — a week later FedEx had no record of it —— over 2 weeks after the order one package arrived in tact a few days later the other package arrived ( same order) all smashed. I notified cookinglife eu - an automated message said it was too late to get a replacement/refund ( 21 days since I ordered) — not my fault?? . I cannot get any response to my emails only totally irrelevant/bizarre automated messages and they don’t answer the phone. —- the WhatsApp is all automated. It's been 4 months now since I sent my Coffee machine in for repair and, they stopped replying me in October this year with updates. I have never experienced worse customer service than this. I'm genuinly considering reporting them to the police, but I'm sure they'd find a way to dodge that too. Scummy garbage corporation

The most unprofessional and disappointing customer service I've ever experienced. 8 months on, my issue remains unresolved and I'm still owed over £120.
I bought an Alessi kettle from Cooking Life and the lid closure became faulty after only a few months' use meaning it would pop open allowing the kettle to dangerously boil dry. It was within warranty so I contacted them and they said if I return the item, they would assess it and speak to the supplied.
I returned it in March 2022 from the UK to the Netherlands at my own expense. After much chasing (14 emails in total) and many empty promises of credit vouchers being sent in the post, I am still without a kettle or a refund. I think this is actually illegal. Cooking Life has now stopped responding to my emails asking when this issue will be resolved.
Do not shop with this company, they are selling faulty goods and do not honour consumer rights.

The problem is, there is no way on earth to get in touch.
If you send them an email you get an automated response, not at all related to what you asked about. It says: "You probably asked about..." and then something totally random.
If you fill out the contact form, they will not respond.
If you contact them via WhatsApp, they will not respond. No matter if you send 10 messages, every day.
I've sent dozens of messages, using all possible methods but have not heard back. Only automated replies. I'm still left with my broken product, hours of wasted time and lost money.
Fantastic value and quality
Fantastic value and quality. I bought some glassware and it arrived impressively quickly given the shipping distance. The packages hadn’t been carefully handled unfortunately and one box was dented, resulting in one broken glass inside. I emailed to let them know and they dispatched a replacement glass really quickly, which arrived in tact. Highly recommend.
Of 12 glasses 3 arrived broken, they won't exchange them
I received a shipment of 12 Glasses while I was on holidays. 3 of them were broken (original sticker still attached). I wrote them an email and they refuse to exchange the glasses as the damage "had to be claimed within 24 hours".
I definitely cannot recommend anyone to order here, ever.
