I was able to make one payment on my verve account and I tried to call back and make a payment on my surge account only to find out by my calls have been blocked every time I call I'm hung up on.
Perhaps just because I reported them but I felt it needed to be said no one should be treated this fashion who's been a legitimate business. I have to get online and pay my bill so this type of behavior is a logical.
I will if this continues I will contact a better Business bureau and find out what I need to do to set up a payment method to them I will not tolerate this type of behavior.

This is the worst card ever!!!!! What a rip off. Do not apply. I paid the card off and it is charging a $10.00 monthly service fee. It also charges a $150.00 annual fee. I paid the card off over a year ago. It is horrible!!!! Do not use. Get rid of this card quickly. Rip off! Rip off! Rip off! You as a consumer can do better! You deserve better!!!!!!

I applied for a credit card and they took $95 for fees almost a month ago. I still have not received the card. Every time I call, they say it will be another 10 days. When I asked for a refund and to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold and then hung up on. This feels like thieves just trying to take money. I am now stuck between waiting for a card that may never come, or trying to get my money back and closing the account, which might negatively impact my credit score. Avoid this app.

I have two cards through this company and used to really appreciate them. Right after opening them they raised their yearly fees. They already charge a high interest rate and now I've received an email that they're going to be charging a monthly fee on top of the yearly fee. Ridiculous. The worst part is if you pay it down and close the account it hurts your credit more than helps it, at this point I feel it's best to go ahead and take the hit on the credit because they are robbing their customers
Horrible communication and practices
When you call, the person usually doesn't speak good English. They can't understand you and you can't understand them. Sometimes they sound so low that you can't hear anything. Nothing gets solved. You can't email them. When you close your account they continue to add fees so that you can never pay the account down, it just keeps going up
Denied my charge in an emergency after being made aware!
I called their customer service making them aware I was stranded with my two kids and would be using my available balance to pay for a tow truck bc it would be a large charge and never used this card i was worried they would deny it. Sure enough they did anyways and then couldn't get back into customer service so I had to overdraft my account with no car to go fix it and then when i did get through, they hung up on me! Absolutely horrible to treat someone that way!! I have all conversation recorded and seriously close to contacting an attorney!!

Frauds
They ran my credit card bill up to double my limit somehow. I’ve been trying to reach customer service for 2 1/2 months. I’ve called more than 20 times, waited on hold for several hours, no one ever picks up the call. They are a fraud and absolute nightmare.

Continental Scam
Avoid this company at all costs! Experian suggested this card to me I got approved and was met with a processing fee which should've been a red flag right there. I paid the fee and was told it would take 15 days to receive the card, another red flag... It's a whole month and 4 calls later to some clowns that barely speaks any English, this company is a total scam! I disputed the charge with my card company hopefully I'll be able to get my money back.

Applied for this card on Feb 12, 2025 and was asked to send documents to verify my identity. It is now march 16th 2025 and I have called constantly to get an update on my application. I kept getting the wait 72 business hours for the back office to make a decision. Never did they make a denial or an approval. I sent a copy of SS card, license and vehicle registration. Now I go and check and it says my application has expired with no correspondence from the company. So where did my documents go and why have I not even received a denial or an approval? No call, no email nothing. I will be reporting this to the BBB etc and calling the bank this card is through to ask why they don’t respond back to applications and just let them expire after sending personal documents.

You Can See How Much They Care
No response to 1.5 stars. Only do business with them as a last resort. Abysmal customer service, switch you to different departments and other bad business practices as others have stated. I feel bad for the couple of good ones I’ve gotten there, but it’s not worth it. Copying to BBB because they won’t address fraudulent charges from my wallet being stolen. Concora did a great job if you can get with them. As recently as today but been dealing with them for months and something almost every month.

Will Not Cancel My Card
After multiple calls, emails, and a written letter, Continental still has not cancelled my account with them and continues to send monthly $10 invoices with compounding late fees. I've contacted the BBB.

I have the Surge and Reflex card’s from them. The Reflex card I have had for 4 years have paid on time for both cards. This past April I went to make my payment on my Surge account as usual. Three days later I received an email stating the payment was returned by my financial institution??? I call my bank right away to see what was going on…..the woman stated they show nothing was returned and if so they would have notified me and also charged me! I call Continental finance which I was disconnected from a few times??? I finely get ahold of a live person she states they will have to turn it over to their accounting office and will get back with me and in the mean time I will have to make a payment with a live person which I gladly did! Again a few days later I receive another email stating the payment didn’t go through! Now, I’m panicking because I have been trying to get this resolved to no avail! To date I had to go and put money in an old account and make payments to both Surge and my Reflex card because that also was returned??? They charged me rediculous amounts of fees and I just received a letter stating they were closing my surge account because I broke the contract???? Well, I’m beyond mad! I will be filing complaints with any and all agencies that I can! It has also made my credit score drop 50 points all for what??? A scam that this corrupt bank/company is running? I see a class action lawsuit coming! Beware people!

fit credit card and surge credit card, these are my two oldest accounts, yet i have no choice but to close them as annual fee went up from 99.00 a year to 125.00, and the monthly maintenance fee is going from 50.00 a year to 180.00 per year, on both accounts, so 600.00 in fees when it used to be 125.00 per account, wow, what a rip- off and 35.9 % interest...lol ok, cancel!!!
