For the York and Scarborough NHS Trust, we are developing an initiative to better support vulnerable families who have children with severe diabetes whose car is better managed online through an app-based system. However, for the families concerned they cannot afford or provide a dedicated mobile phone for the child. Rob Marsland at Concept Management, who is the Trust contractor to dispose of our old IT, very kindly donated over 30 mobile phones for this initiative. which will allow families who fall within this initiative to move forward with their child’s care.
