I have bought 2 bathroom suites from compare the bathroom on ebay and both arrived on time and with no damage.
I however managed to damage the front panel of a toilet unit while I was installing it and wrote to them asking if I could buy a replacement panel rather than a complete unit. The customer service I received was fantastic and I was supplied with a new panel which they removed from another unit. When I asked how much I would be charged was told that as I had to wait for the panel to be delivered I would not be charged.
I cannot recommend them highly enough, and will certainly be using them again if I have a need to. Don't believe the negative reviews, they are a first class company.

Having read the reviews on here, but decided their rating on eBay was perfectly adequate, I decided to purchase a Whirlpool bath, panel and screen from Compare The Bathroom as a single package. Before doing so I contacted them to ask some questions. These questions were answered promptly and professionally. On later inspection of their page on eBay, some of these questions were already answered, had I looked properly! Apologies! The bath has arrived today, 6 days after I placed the order which is well within their timescales. It was extremely well packaged and I have removed all packing to inspect for damage (there is none). Additionally the bath has arrived with all advertised components and is the correct model (11 jets and light). The finishing of the jets, the cabling and pipe work looks extremely tidy and well done. So far, there has been nothing to cause alarm (other than the other reviews on here). I won't be installing it for a few weeks but I just wanted to add some positive feedback as I feel their score on here doesn't warrant the level of service and quality I've received thus far.

Purchased walnut 550mm moritz base unit ,ordered on the 18th Feb arrived 26th Feb 2021.What arrived was a white unit not what i had ordered.
Tried up to now by sending emails and phone calls ,still no answer now contacting Paypal for refund bathroom on stop plumber sent home now extra cost because of this company.Should have believed reviews.

Ordered 11jet bath with side and back panel. 1st delivery was damaged 6 jet bath, no panels. Had to send plumber away and the company reordered for me but I would have to wait until the following week for another. Email advising delivery would be Thursday, Thursday afternoon email saying no delivery will now be tomorrow, therefore booked plumber. Delivery today, opened bath only 6 jets again. Emailed to advise but at 4.30 doubtful I'll have response and continuous phone calls and voice messages as they never answer on the telephone number. Would never order from them again, out of pocket had to pay plumber and without bath for daughter with additional needs for over a fortnight so far. Very unhapoy

Bought 11jet bath wrong brackets supplied fobbed off that the plumber has to make brackets poor plumber has to carry metal fabrication workshop with .Then told i need a carpenter to make a support for pump .One of the worst companys out there avoid them

Purchased 3 wall hung toilets with frames (6 items altogether) over 2 weeks ago. Only 1 item arrived, and have spent almost a week trying to get an answer from these guys as to if/when I can get the rest delivered. These people have no customer service number or contact. This has cost me delays and expenses in fitting a bathroom. They clearly haven't got the stock or staff to handle basic orders - AVOID!

Same as other complaints about them. Back to wall toilet unit was faulty and the tap leaked ruining the cabinet. Refusing to exchange and customer service none existent - said it was our fault for not noticing immediately - the leak was so slight unless you stood and watched it for half an hour you wouldn’t notice - I don’t know about anybody else but I don’t have the time to waste watching a brand new tap for half an hour on the off chance it leaks. In addition the tap doesn’t even reach into the basin so has never actually been used!! They sell cheap and nasty products and have zero customer service - spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

After looking ñ searching for new toilet ñ washbasin I settled on one from comparethebathroom on eBay.
I couldn't find reviews for them but went ahead ñ bought from them.
I managed to find reviews for them later on trustpilot, which where not very nice experiences so was worried to what condition mine would arrive.
Firstly, it arrived way b4 expected delivery date, courier was very helpful, polite ñ dropped pallet off right outside front door..after bringing in house ñ examining the item's, none was missing ñ in tack.
All I can say is my experience was a good one..yes I do know ñ understand that not all are.

I ordered a vanity basin and w/c unit with back to the wall pan, from their eBay shop. They gave expected delivery information but they do not comply with it. When you contact them to enquire/complain, they lay the blame on eBay’s automated system. EBay clearly stated to me that compare the bathrooms expected delivery information is set by the seller, not by eBay. It is very clear to me that the seller makes these statements to get your order and your money and then make excuses when they do not have the stock and can not deliver on time. They eventually told me, quote”the courier lost your consignment but it is now on its way to you.”
Yes it did arrive after that, very late by then, but one of the products was missing off the pallet also. I had already had an assurance from eBay, that I would get my money back, if the order did not arrive by a certain date, (un be known to the seller) and once the problems persisted, the seller did arrange the collection of the part consignment only to refuse my refund once they got the products they sent, back. Lucky I am a concierge customer and a trusted 5 star buyer, I got my refund and postage via eBay and the seller could not do a thing about it. These bathroom companies on eBay operate with multiple business names from similar premises and use the same tactics, so be warned.

We ordered the wrong size shower tray ( my mistake ). They refused to take it back although it was undamaged saying they would have to send it back to Ireland at my expense. They suggested I would be better off trying to sell it privately. They take 3 days to answer e-mails and never answer the phone

Had a delivery this morning, driver rude and refused to take it down the path for me, he left it outside my house on a dodgy pallet that was rocking all over the place and nearly hit my car.

Then when I phoned the company to complain I was told "well it didnt hit your car did it" by an extremely rude and abrupt woman.

Personally I would NOT use this company again nor recommend them just for the fact their attitude to customer service is disgusting!

Catherine was very helpful, goods came in good time and were as described, had to contact about one small issue which was sorted quickly and competently. Definitely buy from here again!! Fantastic

Friendly staff, well at least 2 willing to help, only let down by very poor backup and management.
The delivery of our new bath arrived on a pallet, unknown to me far too small to protect the bath and poorly packaged. Not that I knew that when it did (I don't fit bathrooms). It also arrived without legs or the bath panel that it should have came with AT THE SAME TIME. As a result it couldn't be installed so to keep it safe it wasn't touched or opened to protect it,the pallet wrap it was in, was left on. I waited 2 further days until the bath panel and legs arrived . When the bath was unwrapped it was damaged, the small pallet THEY had shipped it on had caused the bath to be damaged in transit. This was noted as the bath panel turned up in a frame big enough to make a climbing frame out of. A further 2 days later having to pay a fitter for wasted time the replacement bath arrived this time on the proper packaging another huge frame big enough for a climbing frame.
The management won't accept any liability and embarrassingly had a more junior member of staff email me hiding behind T's & C's that don't reflect the points we made, they fails to accept their failure in service that twice has cost me £'s in wasted man days.

If you buy over the internet be VERY CAREFUL. Probably better to visit the showroom than buy on line but even then CHECK THEY HAVE GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING AS THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR THEIR OWN FAILINGS(or that of their supplier).
This is an edited review of the company as I think I hit a nerve .
So lets make this clear .
Its no good trying to fix complaints once the review is out !, you were given every opportunity to compensate and discuss before the review.

Ordering friendly however never received confirmation.
Bath not delivered on the day as agreed. Called the forgot left in warehouse. Next day bath came, however no motor and waste was delivered, again delivery next day. When we had to install no instruction, no place for placing the motor on for bath, had to build a stand ourselves. Fault with bath leaking on on of the jets, they are not willing to send service departement to fix it. As found out they don’t have one. Have to do a local plumber to fix fault. No effort on their side to fix the fault.

I bought a RAK soft close toilet seat from Compare The Bathroom in August. In November the soft close was no longer working so I sent a video and the shop forwarded it to the suppliers, who sent me a replacement seat. Unfortunately the replacement seat had a damaged top corner so I sent photographs which the shop forwarded to the supplier, who sent me another replacement. That one was undamaged and the soft close works properly. The communications and service from Compare The Bathroom was excellent and I would not hesitate to use them again.
