Everything which is hold back on your account until you deliver the car after your holiday, announced as a deposit but also including an extra insurence, a double taken airport tax and the tunnel pass (can be cheaper taking every tunnel by itself) is optional.
Optional things, you can choose, you don´t have to buy. Which I was not told.

The whole process was misleading. The voucher stated that all fees were included exept a fixed amount payable at pickup.
However additional charged were not clearly explained or presented as optional.

These costs were not transparently communicated at the desk, effectively hidden within the deposit. The amount was later deducted from my account when being back home.

The only justification given afterwards was, that I had signed the contract, although I was not properly informed before.

Yes, I signed it.
After a long trip including delays late evening, without being informed or given an option. After a long smalltalk at the desk.
Yes, dumb, I signed. And I will never do it again.
I hope I can change something inside ComeNorth, so other tourist will give more stars from now on. Even though I lost a lot of money (ca. 1200 DKK).

Afterwards only refund of the airport fee and a small amount for what I paid too much for the tunnels.

Not a nice service, later no reaction anylonger, exploiting tired tourists.

Overall, this felt non-transparent and disappointing. I would not book this way again.

One star for an ok car.

The experience was okay overall, but there were several issues. First, they were confused about my arrival date and even called me a day early asking where I was, despite my booking being for the following day. Second, the car I was given had faulty brakes, and I had to wait until they finished helping other customers before they assisted me. I eventually received a replacement, but the whole process took about 1.5 hours. Finally, they overcharged me, and I had to follow up to find out why. They admitted it was a mistake and refunded the money, but it still felt very unprofessional.

The insurance that they suggested is mandatory regardless if we have own rental insurance on the credit card. Sitll with this insurance, we have been charged the full self-risk for any minor scratches that they claim. The worst part is that there is no on-site check when return the car and just charged the full amount without any notification and proof. I have to communicate multiple times to ask for proof and invoice. The whole process is very unprofessional.

God service ved kontakt, nydelig og god bil, alt var som aftalt. Overskuelig bestilling på hjemmesiden. Fuldt depositum tilbagebetalt dagen efter, at bilen var returneret. Vil bruge dem igen - kan klart anbefales.
