First of all, we believe this comment is not about Collegia Pension but about Collegia FreePayroll.
Furthermore, in relation to the specific issue you raised regarding the XML file attachment, we completely understand your concern. While we strictly follow HMRC’s guidelines for real-time information submissions (as outlined on page 13 of the HMRC FPS guidance), which require the password to be in clear text format within the FPS, we recognise the need to ensure that no sensitive information is unnecessarily exposed.
To enhance security, instead of sending XML files via email, clients will have the option to download them securely through their employer account if they wish to do so.

Excellent company
Always a concern when a lesser known pension company is selected by your employer but Collegia have not disappointed. A great app with easy access and plenty of information, a customer service team who always provide quick response and a willingness to help, do things properly and efficiently which I have never experienced in a pension company. With collegia I feel my money is actually safe and when I come to be able to draw on it, it will be an easy process rather than a circus act that other pension companies make it.

The website isn't easy to use
The website isn't easy to use, and if you want to opt out of the pension scheme, it is made extremely hard as the UI is unclear, the font is small. There's too many steps to opt out, it isn't made easy.
On the online chat I used, Riccardo was helpful as he helped show me what I needed to click on in order to opt out. Without him I would of never found it.
