After 8 months use the pump ceased to work even after carrying out the suggested maintenance. I contacted the company and within a couple of days a replacement pump was received. However, this did not resolve the issue and thus my assumption was that the fault was with the power cable and not the pump. Having contacted the company again they immediately, within 2 days, sent me a replacement power cable. That did the trick and my cat fountain now works again. Accepting that things do sometimes go wrong I always judge a company on how they deal with such issues. Closer Pets have responded with sensational, speedy service and their after service is as good as their products. I would recommend them to anyone.

I ordered an Automatic Pet Feeder from this Company via Amazon. On setting the timer I realised after a few hours that it was not retaining the settings. On contacting the Company, they immediately emailed back & when I described the problem, they sent a replacement out which was received within 2 days & is working perfectly. I cannot fault the prompt Customer Service I received & would highly recommend them for any pet products.

Our elite cat flap has stopped recognising our cats sporadically, which has caused them a lot of distress. We’ve only had the product four years and it doesn’t feel right that you’d need to replace a cat flap 4-5 times over a cat’s life. As it was one year outside the warranty though, they refused to replace it and just offered us their standard 10% discount on new products and refused to engage on another solution. While within their rights clearly, I think others should be aware of this stance and of the product’s temperamental nature - it’s not a cheap product, so I hoped for better.

Help, advice and no hard sell!
Our Cat Mate cat flap malfunctioned so I was looking for an exact replacement. The problem was the new ones were smaller, I'd have to drill new holes in the door and our Tom cat is a big guy and way over 7 kg!. I got in touch with Close Pets (Martin) who distribute these models to see if they could guide me. Martin was incredibly patient, helpful and provided advice on to rectify the situation. After a few email exchanges with suggestions, I was able to fix the issue, saving me time and money on a new door panel and cat flap. Really impressed with their after care as it was 2017 when we bought this.

Sue whom works for Closer Pets was fantastic in dealing with my water pump warranty issue she very quickly sorted the problem and posted a replacement next day. You can't get service better than this.

I had recently experienced a problem with an automatic fish feeder which the company made. I sent an email enquiring about the problem and to my surprise, a lady called Sue responded within minutes and explained the likely cause of the problem. Sue also went above and beyond and offered to send out an identical replacement product free of charge as a gesture of good will!

I'm astounded at within one hour of me sending the email asking for support, they had managed to send a confirmation email of the dispatch of the new replacement product.

Il distributore, molto utile per dilazionare 4 pasti al mio gatto durante la giornata, dopo qualche settimana di utilizzo ha iniziato a non funzionare bene. Il piatto rotante ha incominciato a girare in continuazione senza fermarsi, saltando una o più aperture, o fermandosi a metà di una ciotola, impedendo al gatto di infilarci il muso per mangiare. Dopo aver richiesto aiuto su Amazon il Fornitore mi ha subito risposto e dopo un paio di prove, purtroppo non andate a buon fine, mi è stato spedito un nuovo distributore in sostituzione. Al momento funziona tutto bene. Veramente un ottimo servizio. Grazie di cuore.

I spoke to Sue at Customer Services at Closer Pets, as I was having difficulty in setting up the microchip catflap. She kindly sent me 2 videos which really helped. I was then able to follow the videos and I now have 2 very happy cats who can come in and out of the catflap and I can securely lock it at night, as I don’t let my cats out at night.

I recently bought a second microchip feeder for my other cat, as I was really pleased with the one my kitten is using. It didn't seem to be operating as it should, so I contacted Closer Pets with details of the problem. They promptly replaced the feeder without question, and I now have two happy cats who can eat their different diets, side by side. I cannot recommend Closer Pets enough and would not hesitate in making further purchases from them in the future.

Closer Pets Help Team responded to my online query within 24 hours. They gave a possible solution which unfortunately did not work, but after seeing my proof of purchase, they have sent a replacement to me. I’ve yet to receive the replacement, however really pleased with Sue’s quick and efficient assistance.

I asked if they could send me some instructions on how to set a cat flap timer as i had lost the original. They were very prompt replying to me and after requesting some photos to be able to identify it they emailed the instructions straight away. Excellent service.
