I purchased an automatic Cat feeder in 2020. Two years later it stopped working and they kindly sent a replacement as I'd registered it to get the three year warranty. Since then, two years later, the new one has stopped working. I messaged the company to explain the situation but as the warranty has expired they will not help. It's disappointing the item only lasts two years. I have tried changing the batteries, this didn't work and I have tried using the 'adj and up arrow' to realign it and this has not worked. I was upset as my Cat has Hyperthyroidism and has lost a substantial amount of weight. He needs to be fed often and whilst we are out we rely on the automatic feeder. We came home from being out all day and found the machine had turned and stopped part way and therefore my Cat wasn't fed the entire day. It is very upsetting to have found this especially with my Cats health condition. The fact this happened shows you cannot rely on this machine whilst you're away from home. The company despite knowing this have refused to help in anyway. Regardless of not being under warranty it is disappointing they've shown no care regarding our Cat not being fed at all whilst we were out. A company centered around Pets should understand how upsetting this is for us.

They have a huge range of products and the customer service is absolutely great. Very quick replies and very quickly got the problem solved that was caused by the courier company being incompetent. I will be using Closer Pets again in the future.

This vendor is unable to recommend a vendor for valid FDX ISO microchips, and does not sell the chips themselves. That level of incompetence is not something I am likely to repeat.

Very good product that is easy to fit into double glazed door, new glass panel with circular hole needed. All fits nice and good quality product.

I repainted where my TreatView was on my wall. When I peeled off the adhesive wall mount, paint come off with it and I needed a new one. I contacted Closer Pets and they responded immediately the next business day and sent me out a new adhesive wall mount. Great customer service just does not happen much now a days .... KUDO'S TO CLOSER PETS for still appreciating their customer!!

Don’t bother with the cat door, not worth the effort.

Despite multiple coaching emails needed because the product documentation is lacking. Despite multiple attempts to reprogram, use of low power mode and several emails from customer service, we have never been able to get the pet door to function as advertised.

I have programed the door to low power setting. I then programmed it to my cat by holding the door and coaxing her to go through after holding the button till the light came on. The light flashed. Later that day, when the new cat chased her into the door, she bumped into it expecting it to open and it did not. I have reset this thing. I have programmed it. The light blinks when she goes through. I push the button to program her chip. It forgets and stays closed. Thinking that the door may only program in one direction, I “encourage” aka push her through in the other direction next time. I reset the whole thing, waiting three hours before reinstalling the battery. I physically shove her through the door after setting it to program because at this point she has no trust that it will work. Today she scratched me, breaking the skin, and bit me because she is so tired of being stuck through a door that won’t open for her.

The pattern of steady and blinking lights may technically communicate information, but I’m sitting here trying to shove a cat through a door that she now hates, with my instruction manual in the other hand and blood dripping onto it from my arm.

Luckily for us she was being chased by a harmless overgrown kitten who wanted to play. Had it been a coyote, she would have been killed and eaten because she trusted a door that didn’t work for her.

Please don’t blame the chip. The chip works. The door blinks for it. It is not up between her shoulder blades, it did migrate but the door can read it when programming. And if you build a door that only works for cats that have been perfectly chipped, that should be a large disclaimer.

We had a little issue with our 360 cat flap and contacted customer service for help/advice.
The communications were outstanding and Closer Pet sent us a replacement unit within a couple of day.
Truly outstanding company to do business with, can't recommend them more highly.

Purchased a cat water fountain in January. In August the pump stopped working. I called customer service and asked about a warranty. They stated that it was under warranty and a replacement was sent quickly. Very pleased with both the fountain and the awesome customer service. Highly recommend both.

Contacted Closerpets when my microchip cat flat stopped working after 18months and I had tried all the recommended ways to fix it. They contacted me the very next day and said as it was guaranteed for 3 years they would send me a new one. This arrived within a day or two. Fantastic service from them, I’m delighted and would definitely recommend them.

The Customer service is Outstanding...
Bought a cate mate 200 in April 30 2024.... one side stopped working after 6 weeks or so then the other side :(
Contacted Closer pet sending a replacement immediately.... Customer service is Amazing!!!!! The product is Amazing... I have a rescue who eas not feed on a regular basis 😪 so we use the cate mate with its Ice pack and stager the times so she does not gorge all her food at the one time ... this system is Amazing!!!! 1000% recommended only wish I knew about it when I had my other 4 rescues .....
