Got me bsck to small business relief and now the council are off my back asking me to pay when I know I shouldnt pay them
I paid £1,200 which is a bit steep but they did what they said they wood.
They helped me register and they also helped me get extra relief too on my other premises too.

Don't be fooled by the initial £5.99 and not have to pay anymore unless they get you a reduction. They take £948 within a couple of weeks even though they haven't done anything. Please read all the negative reviews
Since writing this review I have been asked for more details by them ‘so they can better understand the experience’, name, phone no etc. they already have these as they have since writing the review contacted me and tried to tell me they have got me a reduction.

I went with Clements a few years back and had a reduction which helped me to keep the business going. This year I was getting reliefs but knew next April I’d have to pay full rates and as it took a while last time asked them to have a look for me. I did this in May and have already had a reduction and though there no refund it will save me money come April when it goes back to full rates. Really good result

Avoid - I wish I could give 0 stars but even 0 would be more than these crooks deserve.

Please don't be stupid like I was. Deceived by their con man tactics. If you are fooled by all the fake positive reviews they buy you'll end up losing £900+ and never hearing from them again.

These company is a fraudulent actor. They lie, tell you the whole thing is "no win no fee" then charge you £990 and disappear with your money. We are taking them to court and are confident we'll get every penny back.

they sorted my rates for my new shop as i hadnt got round to getting my name on those documents. they sorted thwt for me and once that was done got a check done on my rates.
at the same time got me 2 reliefs that i didnt think i could get as i wasnt able to on my last place. got a reduction so now i pay 400 for the year.
i paid £5.99 they sorted out my registration, then once they could help me there fee was £950
this was reasonable as the last company i used got me a small reduction and i ended up paying them future savings of £7,000. basically i didnt save a penny.

really good value for the job and some people in that office are fun to talk to and make it easy to understand.
i can only say my experience with this company it was a good one

they did what they said they would although i feel there are still a few aspects that could save me money but they told me they are still working on it.

It was coincidence that they called me as I had remeasured my shop and I was way under the valuation and had been for god knows how long
I tired getting intouch with my council tr voa and no response and when I did contact them I was told to email so these guys said to check my rates but to do that I would have to get a load of evidence of stuff I cant grt so they said they would take care of it for me which they did I paid them just under a grand they got all my money back from the the past 5 years cause I could claim this new relief my rates went to 12,000 and this new block they put my rates up to 17,000 and now they are 13,250 which is bloody brilliant.
Having trouble with my lease also but they are sorting that for me too

This company is a bunch of scammers.
You get sucked in by the £5.99 "registration fee"
What you are actually signing up to is harassment and bullying the type of which I've never experienced.
I did what they said, I registered with the VOA and appointed them, in three months they did no work whatsoever, but claimed they had.
The VOA confirmed they hadn't done any work.
"B" is ignorant and arrogant, he talks and never shuts up, even when you are putting across your point he will talk over you, a typical scammer tactic.
On the last call, I made out I was my son, and told them my father was in hospital after a drugs overdose, following a previous call from them, they showed no remorse at all, didn't even ask how "he" was and "B" even started to bully and harass my "Son" !
Do not deal with them, do not speak to them, block their number. Do it now.

So I have a very small Sandwiche shop. And the valuation office agency decided to do a review on my rates saying that I had to give them information on my lease to check how much rates I should be paying.
When I took over the shop tere was no business rates as the shop is small..
Once I filled out the paperwork to the valuation office.. I was hit with not only business rates to pay.. but as well as a fine for not submitting my paperwork.. I thought they was a scam.. obviously not just thieves..
I was introduced to clements agency by a pal who swears that they could help me...

Help me.. not only did I get all my money back from te council..I was paid interest on my money..
And they have also helped me out with my massive electricity bill..
All I can say is thank you.. hope i don't have to use you again.. but im sure if you can save me money on my rates and electric.. im thinking what else is next..

Applied for the reliefs and didn’t get them to my unit
This compnay got in touch and not only got the reliefs but reduced my brothers shop couple doors diwn
It was very helpful and I would recommend didn’t think it would help. Surprised

Reduction and other things

They helped me go rates free again as my rates went up unnecessarily on my shop
On a weird side note they helped me with my electric bill and I got a parking ticket which I should not have got.
They sorted it for me, the guys cover most things
A little pricey but they have saved me a couple of times now.
Handy little company

Clements did two of my premises they managed to do a split for me which means I no longer have to pay rates and I got a refund back. Took them over 2 months to get any replies but you can’t expect miracles. They will be doing any and all work for me intthe future. The consultant and surveyors were very helpful. You can’t expect things to happen straight away when there’s back log but the fast track they got me was incredible.

Wrote three bad honest reviews about this company and a bad experience with them. They had all three removed even though we provided evidence.
Avoid doing business with these. They really don’t help you out.

Fraudulent company, just promised to charge £948 after the refund from business rates. But deducted the money before even any survey. Tried to contact the initial person every day and they say he is not dealing with the case anymore and someone else is dealing who is never in the office not call back. Avoid avoid avoid. I have a small barber shop and got into some difficulties with the council as I was struggling to pay the rates due to poor trade.

Not only did clements make me rates free for 3 years , they also dealt with the council in the interim to get them off my back whilst the claim was going through.

Do yourself a favour and get in touch with clements asap if you need help with the business rates.

Some of these reviews are really off putting and that what happened with me turns out they did work really hard for me and the guy that sorted them for me was really nice and told me everything that he was doing. Exactly what they said would happen happened

People Just need to know what they are looking into really I think

They got in contact with me and told me they could check my rates and with information they had there was a strong chance I could get a reduction didn’t think I would go rates free but I did. The hardest bit for me was to register but once that was out the way Got all my money back paid them for the job it paid off. My only thing is that it takes a while but I would expect that.

After writing my first review, was requested to delete as the process was taking longer but was assured the challenge was being made... The result of this challenge was exactly the same as the first, took them 15 months to haven 2 unsuccessful challenges due to apparent lack of proof.
They were very quick in charging £5.99 fee to get my details and £990 within a week to start the challenge.
But being left in the dark for months without knowing the outcome or what was happening, does not worth it.

I have requested a refund as their terms were if unsuccessful they would refund and yet another 2 months have passed and not even an email to apologise.

I had to close down the business due to all the price increases, including business rates that they were suppose to challenge.

Absolutely appalling service.

I have many barber shops and thought at first to do them all with Clements agency , however , reading the reviews I thought it best to just do 1 in case it didn’t work. So I gave them my shop in East Ham and they got m ex a great result!!!! I then gave them the rest of the properties to do but it was after the cut off point with the voa concerning the be financial year so only got my rates reduced and did not get back any back dated money.

I feel so stupid that I did not give them all my shops to start with and worried about the nonsense online because it lost me thousands of pounds of back dated money!!!!!

Don’t believe everything you read, but believe this, Clements are the real deal and a pleasure to work with.
