I’ve been robbed off £7858 and the bank is not helpful. They don’t have a customer service number or details. As I can see others have encountered the same issue, it is clear that they are not helping anyone. I am not a customer of the bank, an account was made in my name which I wasn’t aware of! Identity theft plus online scam and fraud.

We have been scammed and our money sent through Clearbank. We have lost over £40,000 and I am writing to this bank to recover our loss.
I see from the Financial Ombudsman site that Clearbank has been forced to repay money to many people through scams.
The man who scammed us called himself Edward Johansson. Clearbank will know who he really is…..

Clearbank provide the faster payment rails for Solaris and Trilogy. They pulled the service without warning leaving Trilogy customers unable to make or receive payments. Inconvenient for individuals, absolutely disasterous for businesses. We've had this confirmed by Solaris, and as the outage approaches 4 weeks it will literally force my business to close. Dreadful. Research your banking provider, and if you find links to Clearbank then think twice.

The bank of choice of the criminal fraternity, if you see the sort code 04-06-05 on an invoice take a view you one click away from being robbed. Quite how they are still allowed to operate as a business and not be investigated by the FCA is a mystery.
Below this will be the standard cut and paste couldn't give a fig response with no interest in doing anything about it

Once again a scammer has used this bank to open a fake bank account to be used to scam money out of a business. I have reported this bank to action fraud and notified the bank previously but obviously these accounts are still being allowed by somebody in the organisation.

IF you are induvial do not use clearbank they do not sovle any questions。
If you are a fintech company do not use clearbank too. the only thing clearbank does to the fintech provider is charge a huge monthly fee but you can't use clear bank as a provider. because their useless custmers support and useless aml team,only make thing worse.

Coming across ARCHIVESUCCESS.COM is a blessing, I must admit, as they stand out for their quick returns on all profits and lack of withdrawal restrictions. This Clear bank are absolutely revolting, having done more damage to my business in just 24 hours than it had taken me 24 months to start it.

A clearing bank that has no qualms about liaising with fake crypto platforms. The go to bank for the sophisticated grift connected to online dating websites like tinder, feigning no culpability but fully aware of scam.
Below are photos of my fake crypto account and conversation that have continued for 12 days. Money locked up and un-transferable….FCA and Action Fraud notified.

I was a victim of an Authorised Push Payment Fraud by a customer of the ClearBank/Tide Platform. Their business model is based on attracting SME' with the promise of being able to open an account within minutes (vs the weeks it takes with a high street bank). They are cutting corners on their AML checks to offer such a quick onboarding process. They confer a halo effect to the scammers that exploit these deficient AML procedures to open accounts. If you are dealing with a business that has a ClearBank/Tide (sort code 040605) account then double up your due diligence before sending any money.

My parents got scammed, this bank is ridiculous,
The scammers created an account in my fathers name, within minutes that 100% fresh FAKE account which could not have been properly/legitimately verified in that time, was used as a conduit for fraud and within minutes the account was created and active. Thousands drawn from my fathers real account into Clearbank and then no doubt shifted out seconds after that by the scammers.

I am not one to take to forums or review panels but seriously feel that I need to warn others before they make the grave mistake I did.
when looking for my next role and went for several interviews and I was fortunate enough to be in a position to have received 4 offers at the same time, with one of them being at ClearBank, the offer I received was the lowest of the other 3 offers. But the promises of a team-first, work-life balance, and working together for a greater good made me want to go to ClearBank.
It did not take too long after getting into the role to actually see behind the curtains.
The CEO is great but is clueless as to what is happening on the ground because he has left the running of the business to very well-versed political BS specialists who are extremely inexperienced and have no idea what and how to deliver but instead can talk their way out of situations. These individuals are great at deflecting blame, taking credit for others' deliveries, and stabbing people in the back who actually contribute to the company and vision but who challenge the status quo too much or don't stroke their egos enough.
There is a handful of individuals that work really hard to deliver and work really long hours ensuring the utmost professionalism to the company and clients, but the "clever" political BS specialists are constantly on holiday, never around when needed, and too busy with planning for their charity boxing matches.
The company is going through major changes to align with the new investment and global expansion but instead of making positive changes, they are actually making things even worse. One of the political BS specialists is now taking on the role of international COO with very little experience beyond being an analyst before joining ClearBank and now will be heading up the international expansion efforts. Then the head of operations, another clueless and extremely two-faced individual who in her approach, smiles all friendly at you in meetings but at the same time makes plans to get rid of you to make space to hire some of her close friends/allies into the roles, and has already done so.
Don't get me wrong there are some really good people that work here as well, but as you would expect that with a 40% + turnover all of these individuals are moving out fast, and ClearBank has more than 140 vacancies for existing roles of good people that they have lost over a very short period.
If I had a time machine I would go back and never have accepted the role at ClearBank, as all it has done is added long working hours, weekend work, undue stress, mentally affected me, and having to constantly watch my every move, with fear of "will I be the next victim" and with no recognition because the political BS specialists have taken that too.
Just a friendly warning before you make your next career decision and are stuck in my position looking for a way out.
