I have been using chiropractors for nearly 50 years. 2 standout: Dr Kenneth Bramberg (retired from Aberdeen) and Max. Simply the best by a mile. My wife and I travel from Monmouth to see Max, because he's well worth it to get well.

For more than 25 years, Max Atkinson has been my chiropractor, and I couldn’t speak more highly of his care, attention, and exceptional skill. My main issue has always been my back, but Max has also successfully treated a range of other problems over the years, including a severe case of tennis elbow.
Regular maintenance visits with Max have kept me in a good place, and as a result I rarely experience flare‑ups. He has an incredible ability to pinpoint the source of any issue quickly and work his magic. Max is very attentive to my concerns about my health. He has a calm manner when treating any physical problems I have with joints and soft tissues. I have been going to see him every three to four months for a maintenance check and treatment over several years now.

Always a calm, professional as well as friendly session. Max is very skilled and listens to what's being going on between visits that may affect the body alignment. He has an array of tools and techniques and prescribes just the right amount of treatment.

I first met Max about 10 years ago, when a friend of mine recommended him. Previously, I had been seeing many different chiropractors, all of whom were unable to help me with my back pain.
However, when I met Max, he carefully listened to everything, clearly understood the issues and immediately started to help me.
Within a few sessions, I noticed a huge difference and this progress only continued. He is extremely talented, attentive and dedicated to his work. His skill and expertise is matched only by his passion for his work and his desire to help people.

I have been a patient of Max Atkinson for over 15 years. Unfortunately, I have experienced several issues with my back and neck over this period. I cannot praise Max enough. He is extremely professional and skilled in his assessment of the issue and the treatment required. Not only do I have confidence in his diagnosis of my complaint but he always offers effective treatment and advice and he constantly upgrades the services he offers to patients. This has extended to referrals to specialist consultants for additional support. I particularly like the fact that he does not (as I have experienced in the past with other practitioners) suggest you have further treatment when he considers the issue has been resolved. I have recommended Max's clinic to several members of my family and they too are full of praise for the treatment they have received.

I’ve been seeing Max for almost 13 years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my neck and back issues. His care, attention to detail, and depth of knowledge are truly second to none. After an accident in my early twenties, I began regular appointments every three months, and Max has been instrumental in managing any niggles or pains that arise. Max's treatment is really thorough. He seeks to identify what the possible causes of pain or stiffness might be and checks that each possible cause has been addressed. He uses a variety of techniques that are well suited to the area being treated and where appropriate to patient's preferences. He is also very positive and explains how the treatment is working
