I purchased online a Tropical Torte on Saturday 19th July. I had set my store at Mittagong.

On arriving at Mittagong on Sunday 20th July, they told me that the order was placed at Fairy Meadow. I did not have the time to return to Fairy Meadow being an hour away.

I repurchased the same cake from Mittagong with the understanding that I could call on Monday to arrange a refund.

I rang Fairy Meadow to explain and ensure that put the cake back on display so they wouldn’t be out of pocket.

I rang HEAD OFFICE on Monday 21st July several times and left a message with full details, I also did an online enquiry through the website.

I rang again and again at different times and days and I have still not heard back from Head Office.

I have also done an online email, sent email to marketing as suggested by the store and a further email to the contact details....NO REPLY.

I have receipts from the online order and purchase from Mittagong

We visited there website to find a cake for our 3yo daughter’s birthday and came across a cake which was showing plant based and we order same on 23/06 to collect on 25/06. On 24/06 around 05:30 local store where it was supposed to be collected that they don’t do such cake. When we asked but why it showing on website, the caller referred us to head office.

To contact headoffice Sydney is depends on person’s luck. They don’t pick and always go on voice msg and they never call you back. We sent email to clarify what was our fault.

They took few days to email back and saying that no point it was showing it was plant based. Instead of accepting their fault they put on us said refund will be made.

We sent them the screenshot of order and plant based showing on their website. Irony they didn’t accept that time also.

Instead of accepting mistake that their store called us when all other stores were closing and left no option for us to buy another cake. They again said it was no point showing plant based

It took for them 7 days to process just refund and doesn’t know when we get.

Worst of the worst customer service.

So many of the cakes are too sweet. Some cakes I cant even finish half a slice. The sweetness overhwhelms the flavour, theres no good balance. Other places, especially asian bakeries get it right.

I popped into my local Cheesecake shop -Roxburgh Park Vic - on Saturday 22/3/25. Customer service received from the moment I walked in was wonderful. Cannot commend them highly enough. The Biscoff cheesecake was delicious, and the personalised cake topper - done on the spot late minute - was appreciated by the birthday girl. Thanks again Mimi and especially Inaya.

Terrible vegan cocolate cake. Not only was the finished product sub par the cake itself was dry and actually fell apart as I cut and tried to serve it. Looked a very poor substitute to pic shown on website with a large crack across the top of the hard chocolate coating

Visited the shop in Onehunga, Auckland today to try the new cookies.
Sadly, we will never have these again.
The cookie was dry. The icing was rubbery, with a really thick dried out surface, and the lotus cookie on top was soggy. All up seemed old and stale. And ultimately way over priced.
While we had hoped for delicious this cookie fell way short!
Not pleasant at all!!

We were so disappointed with Cheesecake shop, Coffs Harbour. We ordered a 500 gm (half kg) Birthday cake and the ones at the shop delivered a 1 kilo cake cut into half. It's ridiculous, no common sense. We ordered a cake which was at the display, however the one delivered was Absurd. The whole Birthday got spoiled because of CHEESECAKE SHOP, COFFS HARBOUR

Absolutely upset! ordered a customised cake for my daughters 21st bday A red velvet flavoured and asked for dark pink icing and a happy birthday message on it lady suggested I get purple witting and advised “it would look better dont worry” When I picked it up I wanted to cry it was so freaking ugly looked a unicorn took a shit. The writing was so hideous I had to pay $20 extra just for the colour of the icing (which normally comes in white)
I wanted to throw this cake in her face but because we were 2 hours away from our event we had to take it. I ended up redecorating the cake myself and it turned out ok until we tasted it it was horrible it was like a sponge cake and the icing was salty it was disgusting we thew the whole thing out. Im never going here again!

It's a fake website made by chinese scammers, be careful.

We purchased a Double Choc. Belgian Mudcake for our daughter's 30th birthday. We were very, very deeply disappointed. It tasted like sand very, dry and bland. We have been buying mudcakes every year and they were nothing like this cake. I contacted them by email* twice and they don't have the decency to contact the customers with an explanation. It was so embarassing for our daughter and everyone who came to celebrate her birthday as no-one ate the cake. Never again will I purchase another cake from the Palmdale Cheesecake Shop at Upper Mt Gravatt.

I ordered black Forrest eggless cake well in advance. New Lynn branch Auckland. This was a gift for one of my family members. What a disappointment. No one including the kids ate the cake. The cake tasted too salty and some guests even tasted lumps of sodium bicarbonate. That gave them extreme burning hot sensation in their mouth. When went to store the next day. The baker said the cake is fine and that’s how eggless cakes taste. We buy from you all the time but your cakes never tasted this bad ever before. The baker said she will not refund or replace the cake. She however kept the cake that we returned. So we ended up paying you guys for ruining our event and the next day too. The baker did not take our details neither did she ask for our name or receipt. She just said she will report this to head office. This is terrible customer service and very bad after sales service. We now feel that we got robbed in day light. The cake given to us was certainly not “the cheese cake shop” quality. They probably bought some cheap cake from the supermarket. Or May be you have now lowered your quality so much for us not to buy from your shop anymore. The cake was so dry and hard.

Absolutely disgusting cheap crap. Sickly sweet and with texture like the whole thing had just been defrosted. Avoid at all costs.

Best customer service

Very disappointed, not worthy for custom birthday cakes.!! Ordered a custom birthday cake for my son's 7th birthday and the cake was completely different to the pic i gave to them. There was a printed a picture on cake and it was broken too. And the girl said sorry my coworker mistakenly broke it we will give you 20% discount in next cake at Erina fair. Very disappointed, they should have called earlier and i would have find a better cake from somewhere else. The cake was ugly and my kid did not even come and cut the cake. His birthday was ruined

Bit useless when you order a cake on Saturday and cannot pick it up until Thursday the following week!!!!

I ordered a creamy caramel continental cheesecake for my birthday. It wasn’t decorated as described, missing the gold pearls and looking very slapped together to the point where I went and bought extra chocolates and things for the top to make it look half decent. Then tonight we’ve eaten it, and were soooo disappointed. When did the Cheesecake Shop stop making decent cheesecakes??! If there was any cream cheese in this thing at all I’d be extremely surprised. It was all fluff, when you pushed down with your spoon, a full two thirds of the density of the “cake” disappeared and the remaining slop tasted like mock cream. There was no resistance to the cake, no full flavour, just a watery, fluffy mess. It tasted cheap and nasty, and I will never ever buy from the Cheesecake Shop again. Yet another example of a company pursuing profit over quality goods, I should have chosen a small local bakery instead, and will do so from now on.

I can't remember what the cake was called but it tasted amazing and it had a delicious honey on it.

On Saturday 18th March 2023 I purchased a French Glazed Vanilla Cheesecake for $27.95 but it had a very strong aftertaste so either Elise or I liked it. On Wednesday 26th April 2023 Hayley from Head Office emailed me and she offered to refund me as a once off goodwill gesture. On Wednesday 26th April 2023 I replied to her email with my bank details then she processed the refund of $34.95. On Friday 5th May 2023 I received the refund of $34.95.
