I bought a ticket through this business, and within 30 minutes, i received a phone call from one of their employees, strongly pushing upgrades worth additional hundreds of dollars. Their selling schtick was that I bought the most restrictive ticket, that allows me to take only 5 lbs additionally with me. So just my wallet. When I declined their pushy sales, I was told that the ticket I bought, it is not actually bought: it is an offer, and it'll be bought when the airline approves it. Sure enough, 2 days later I got a cancellation. Careful with these guys: they're not honest!

This company should shut down. Numerous of scamming tactics is observed. Compromising upgrades and other flight add-ons you did not purchased. Customer service called is reading a script and not letting you speak to literally overcome and deceive you from the original flight purchase you have inquired. I hope my voice will be heard and let this company will be punished by the authorities and bureau. Attaching discrepancies of this scamming company.

I would give this company a zero if possible. Booked round trip flight on Sept 22 for flight leaving on 29 Sep and returning the next day. Received a call immediately asking if I wanted to pay for the cost of a carry on. Thought it was confirmation of flight. Then on September 26 received a call from CheapVuelos that they could not honor my initial agreement with them and were changing my flight to some date in mid October. I argued with them and insisted to no avail that they refund my money so I could book with another more reputable company. They refused. I called Alaska Air lines and was told that what CheapVeuelos was doing was a “bate and switch” operation. Offering anything to get you on the hook, then offering something of a much greater value at a much greater price. That in my book is not ethical. In order not to deal with their unsavory practice, I had to cancel my credit card just so that they would not be paid.I ordered my flight from Expedia at a reasonable price. To protect the public, I hope this scam organization will soon be shut down!

First. it was too difficult to understand their accent. after I booked a flight they call me and told me about that I was not allow to take any luggage at all, just my purse. few hours later they confirmed my booking and told me I was going to be on stand by. Or they could send me to another airport and the price will be a lot more, like $400.00 dlls. more. there were 8 people ahead of me on stand by.. I asked them to cancel and they told me they couldn,t anymore, because was my responsibility not to read the small letters. I managed to cancel, but like a week later, I had some unauthorized charges on my debit card, done in NY and Connecticut. I live in Texas. Coincidence? I hope nobody goes thru this nightmare with these scammers

I had a terrible experience with Cheapvuelos, and I’m sharing this to warn others not to fall into this trap and lose money.

I searched deals for flight to USA on cheapflights.com, which redirected me to the Cheapvuelos site. Comparatively this site offered 40% discount on a return trip.

I booked the ticket through them and got a confirmation email saying 'Booking Successful' with the same flight details that I booked for. But after waiting for 7 hours, I didnt receive the ticket and when I called they said this is a Promotional fare and it is Standby. To get a confirmed ticket I have to pay extra amount which comes to more than what is on the Airlines website. When I refused to pay, they said I need to travel another day but still I need to pay some extra. I asked them to cancel it, then they said I will lose the money and the agent started taking rudely.

Long story short, I wasted my whole day dealing with this issue, very stressful and lost the money and ended up booking with the carrier directly.

This site is so misleading, no transparency. It is just there to steal your money. DONT FALL INTO THIS TRAP!!
