Completely Unreliable and Unprofessional
Terrible experience and a complete lack of empathy from Cheap Flights Travel
I booked a ticket from Heathrow to Erbil for
April 2025, fully understanding it was non-refundable. However, a serious and unexpected medical emergency occurred-
my husband suffered a heart attack and
had to undergo triple bypass surgery.
Naturally, I had to cancel my trip to be with
him during his recovery.
Despite explaining this clearly and
providing evidence, Cheap Flights Travel
refused to offer meaningful support or
flexibility. They only offered to refund less
than £100 in taxes for a much more
expensive ticket. I wasn't asking for a full
refund, but some level of human
understanding and willingness to help
would have made a significant difference. This experience was extremely
disappointing. In moments of real crisis,
you'd hope a company would act with even
a small amount of compassion.
Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
I do not recommend booking with them
unless you're 100% sure nothing will go
wrong because even in emergencies, they
won't budge.
