Jamie Meakin was my mortgage advisor. He has done a fantastic job, by making the impossible, possible for me. Jamie‘s communication was great and was very informative in the whole process.

Our mortgage application turned out to be much more complicated than we expected, however the help offered from the whole team was exceptional.
The communication was fantastic from start to finish.
At one point (when the mortgage company told me I had additional current accounts and asked for details…but I knew these accounts had never existed!) we almost gave up.
However, the support and excellent communication from Sophie, Rob, Diana and James ensured we continued with the application process and the mortgage completed successfully.
There was help available at every step and I can’t recommend Charwin highly enough.

Where do I start well 2 years ago when I reached out for help with remortgage. The understanding and helpful guy at the other end of phone was Richard. We have spent many hours on phone and with what seemed unobtainable become reality. We were stuck as mortgage prisoner some 18 years ago when we got self cert mortgage we couldn’t get out of. Richard and i devised a plan to remortgage but with my husband self employed it wasn’t easily sailing but a 12 month plan was put in place to get there. Life threw us a challenge or two and the plan was derailed when my husband got cancer. After 18 years of paying critical illness cover we could barely afford we were out of the thieving clutches of our mortgage company who was charging extortionate interest. We paid off huge chunk of our mortgage and was able to move to more reasonable interest rate and out of interest only!!
Richard was there every step of the way and a trusted voice because that’s all I knew. His advice and kindness and the little laughs we had along the way. So now it feels like we are free and we will be in touch again in 2 years when the fixed rate ends. I have no hesitation to ring him and know he will be there to help again.

Decided to give Charwin a go after having a bit of misfortune remortgaging direct with a few banks, I was greeted on the phone by Lorne. After an initial phone call with Lorne I felt more confident that I could get a deal. Very friendly and professional. The process did go on a bit longer than than expected as we had a tricky underwriter but Lorne was Fantastic and got the deal done. I would recommend to anyone as the service was fantastic!!!

Charwin have been amazing for us. Jamie went above and beyond to get us the mortgage we need for our first home. Our credit history was complicated but he managed to sort everything out for us. He was always available kept us updated every step of the way i would highly recommend using this company we have been so happy with everything they have done for us.

We were sent a mortgage offer with pepper money through Charwin and paid £150 plus £40 for ID checks, the offer was emailed to us & the survey was booked then the following day the survey was cancelled & the money we paid was kept!!! Very disappointing & we were unable to get any other mortgage offer after that, we were told that would be refunded but that was two months ago!!!!!

We used Charwin for our tricky mortgage application, and Richard and Molly were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Richard's professional and experienced advice made it possible for us to get a mortgage when others said it wouldn't be.
