The application is straight forward.
Processing and postage was very quick.
However it all goes wrong with the postage envelope. A plain white window envelope is used. It does not have any protection against being bashed and folded in transit. Today my deed polls were folded in half to be posted through my letterbox.
Why they can’t use a hard backed envelope I don’t know. My deed polls look so shabby!
Update** the company have kindly re issued my documents within an hour of me contacting them so I cannot fault their customer service team at all! However I still stand by the fact better envelopes should be used. That way Royal Mail couldn’t bend and fold them!

Thank you for your feedback — we really appreciate you highlighting that the application process and turnaround time met your expectations.
We’re very sorry to hear about the condition your documents arrived in. Unfortunately, this appears to have been caused during handling by Royal Mail, which is outside of our direct control. That said, we completely understand how important it is for your documents to arrive in perfect condition.
As agreed, we’ve arranged for your documents to be reprinted and resent at no cost, and we’ve also flagged this with the delivery provider to help prevent it happening again.

It was easy and simple to navigate around the website. they gave good options, even offering help, advice and tips on certain parts. However, when delivering my parcel they put my old name on the parcel. You’d think they’d put my new one on it?

Thank you for your feedback.
We’d like to clarify that all documents are issued using the current legal name provided at the time of application. This is done for legal accuracy and administrative purposes, ensuring the document aligns with the information submitted and can be accepted by relevant organisations.

It is what it is.
I'll be honest I was hoping I could skip the witness part by paying so that's why I bought from changemyname instead of just going to the usual place, I'm not very social so that was a bit of a hurdle for me, but it seems I need the witnessess to sign anyway. My fault though for misunderstanding. Good, quick and professional service otherwise. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Easy application
Easy application, Good customer service, Very quick delivery, only downside is they recommend a number of paper copies, but none were needed as everything is digital now, so that was sadly a waste of money for us, but i'm sure this wont be the same for everyone.

Thank you for your kind review - we’re really pleased to hear you found the application process easy and our service quick and helpful.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the paper copies. While many organisations now accept digital documents, a lot of institutions still require original physical copies, which is why we offer multiple copies as an option.
Thank you again for choosing us, and we wish you all the best with your name change.

Very reliable company
I had to renew my UK passport but my Australian one was slightly different and I had to have both passport names the same owing to new regulations. Thanks to Change my Name I was able to change my name by deed poll from here in Australia and get my British passport renewed. The company is amazing to deal with any query promptly answered I cannot recommend them highly enough. I was very apprehensive ordering a deep poll from them but it was made so easy. My only criticism was they don’t post overseas so I had to have it sent to a friend who forwarded it on to me. It was a pleasure to deal with this company.
