It's hard to give them a rating when you can't get them to do the work. My contract was signed September 1, 2020. I'm still waiting. Worse yet is I only heard from someone within the last couple weeks.

I am disappointed in the customer service I received after requesting a quote. I asked for a quote on an entire house painting. After three days , still no quote. Contacted customer service who assured me I would get one that evening, still nothing. Then I send a message through “contact us” who responded immediately but I told them I was disappointed and considering moving on and they all but said “sorry you experienced this “ but it was more like ‘Go fly a kite’ without any resolution. If this is any indication of what their commitment to clients, I am not impressed and don’t want to use them. To be fair, we used them like 12 plus years ago to paint our current home which had a two story living room and they did a great job which is why we went back. I feel they have lost that personal touch and have gotten too big with the new owners.

This is a very poor company with very poor follow through. Mike of East Hampton Ma. (rep.for portions of Ct.) is a dishonest salesman, not to be trusted..

I am very disappointed. They didn’t show up when they were originally scheduled it was delayed a day and then they were about two hours late the following day. The quality of the work was just poor. They did not cover areas my carpet was a mess. I found several spots of paint on my carpet, they broke the blinds, dry wall work was not professionally done at all ( child like). The paint wasn’t applied evenly, I can see a thin line of white paint at the top where the wall meets the ceiling in every room that I added color. I also found blobs of paint in spots and on my curtains in the master bedroom. I was so looking forward to finally having my house professionally painted, my husband did a better job. I had Lucas and his team, I am sooooo disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

If I could rate them lower, I would. They were the highest priced quote we received, and my wife ok'ed them without asking me and I wasn't at home when they were painting. But, they sounded like they would do ok. Boy, was I wrong. Every instance of the job was horrible. They didn't prep in areas, where they were supposed to. They didn't pull off the wall plates, but instead painted around them. They left some areas, not even painted. I showed the project manager where the issues were, and he assured me that they would be corrected. I stayed home this time, and saw some areas where they still didn't prep before painting. I brought the contract to the lead painter, to show him that they were supposed to prep before they painted, and he said, "That's not my problem". I asked him how many people he had brought with him, and gave him 5 mins to get them all out of my house. I called the project manager, and told him what happened, and he said he would come over the next day. I told him that I was a little to angry to see or talk to him, but I would contact him when I cooled down. When I finally had the project manager come over and showed him where the problems were at, at first he tried to say there wasn't a problem. But after I told him that I was going to have another company come in and do the job right and then sue them for the entire cost of both jobs, he agreed to have another team come back in to fix the problems. His team did come back, but at this time, I just wanted nothing to do with them and accepted a sub-par painting job. Do not believe all the great reviews for this company. Read all the lower reviews, and save yourself time, money and headaches, and go with another company to do your painting.

Horrible painters do not use them did a very bad job messed up my whole hone and than just did not show up throw your money away but don’t hire them they use contractors that don’t know how to paint I wasted my money time and efforts. They said it us 10 days job now it a more than a month just told them not to bother will hire some one else to finish the mess they did

CertaPro in Coweta County Georgia is TERRIBLE!!!! Paint on deck peeled in less than a year and then I was told that the fine print says it is NOT covered by warranty, Arrogant on the phone. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IN COWETA COUNTY GEORGIA.

Absolutely awful experience with CertaPro, Reading, PA. These guy's were unprofessional and left my property a disaster. Paint all over everything we own (the screens, the drive way, the patio, the outdoor furniture). Trampled our plants. CertaPro was horrible! The cost was the same as the other 2 quotes we got. Do yourself a favor and use a different company.

They got paint all over the gasket around the garage door and would not do anything about it. I paid $360 to get new gaskets put on, the manager/owner would not call back.

The painter and I agreed that he would scrape and paint the 3 sides of the front of the house with 2 coats of paint. When I came home to it they had sprayed what looks like 1 coat of cheap paint and managed to get it all over my storm door as well as detached the leaders. I would never use them again and recommend that no one else use them. They were also 1 week late in doing the job.

They scheduled my paining on 4/25/21 for today 5/24/21 from 9 to 11 then NEVER showed up! Then lied via phone and emails about trying to get a crew in on 5/25/21. Then cancelled my contract instead. Stupid Nepotism policy hiring relatives, they thought cancelling me 5+ hours after they breached the contract would get them off the hook! Stupid stupid the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing, and causing issues with me because I am 69! Seniors beware of this company ! Stress could kill you if they treat you like they did me for 30 days!

They are the worst! I used them received a poor job. They use inexperience people they they probably found at a site where day workers gather to be picked up for day jobs. They did not do the two coats of paint as they said they would. I would never use them again.

Well I had certa pro out to my home twice this year. First time to paint my upstairs and they were fine. Price was fair, they schedule me and were there on time and did a great job. Second time was now. I call them out in April to look at painting my downstairs and 2 bedrooms. The experience was total opposite. They never show up on the day they scheduled. Tried to reschedule a time to paint and got nothing. No communication between me and the Foreman. Everytime I call them they couldn't give me a date to do the work. One excuse after another. Crew quit on them. Workers out on maternity leave. And I kept getting further down the list 4 or 5 jobs ahead of me after they failed to make the first appointment. Finally I canceled the job and demanded my deposit back since they seem like they wanted no part of my house. That was today. Now I have to wait 2 weeks to get my deposit back and start all over finding a company to paint my home. To bad because I had other jobs i was going to give them. I will NEVER use them again, and I will tell everyone on earth to stay away from them.

As other people have alluded too they do use independent contractors who are probal yinexperiences people they pickled up one a street corner. As such, they did not put two coats of paint on our deck like we were contracted with them to do. How do I know. The color of my deck was brown the paint was grey. I saw them finish the first coat with my brown deck showing and then 30 minutes later they said they were done. It takes 2 hours to do the first coat but only 30 minutes for the second. The supervisor on site barely spoke english so could not explain it to him. We called certapro directly and they said they would talk with the site supervisor. Needless to say nothing happened. I should have taken pictures I guess but why should I have too do that. I pay good money to do a job properly then DO IT. ON top of that there are very visible streak marks like they painted unevenly. I'm glad its my deck that was painted and not the interior of my house.Overall just a lousy job and a rip off. Plus they told us we could keep the extra paint. Well guess what? That's right they supposedly used it all the paint putting two coats on of paint on our deck. I will never use these shysters again.

We used CertaPro after they came highly recommended by our next door neighbor. Austen Lynn and his crew did an excellent job painting pretty much our entire house. They were on time, worked a full day, and cleaned up each night. They finished in 4 days and I am very happy with their work. Sheri Osburn is the owner in the Augusta Area and I highly recommend this company.

We had the exterior of our home painted 3 years ago. I realize that the company uses independent contractors, but they really need to manage their work.

First, the painters indicated that we may need 2 coats (with an extra cost, of course). We agreed to the extra work and the additional cost. However, when they were nearly complete with the first coat, they told us they didn't think we really needed the second coat. Someone from the company told us they had been offered / assigned another job and that would pay more than our second coat.

Second, they returned after a year or two later for touchups, as included in the original contract. The same independent contractors returned to do that. When they returned, they told us that they had hired someone to do the scraping of the house. They told us that the individual they hired did not do a good job, so they had fired him. They pointed out the numerous areas of the house where this lack of appropriate scraping was a problem. But they did not offer to fix it. They also did not finish the touch up, even though they said they would return to finish the job.

This was a most unpleasant and disappointing experience.

I had a wonderful customer service experience. I would like to recognize the representative Kevin Adkins. The representative was honest about the work and cost. The actual work was just beautiful. I highly recommend this company for painting of an exterior home project.

I had Certa Pro Owings Mills paint ceilings, trim, and bathrooms in my home during fall 2020. At first glance, I was reasonably happy with the job. However, as the paint dried, I was not. They were supposed to fix cracks in our ceiling but they are just as obvious today...just painted over and look terrible. In addition, little details were missed like putting can lights back correctly. I also had to point out some misses along the way...it seemed the team did not understand the work instructions.

The team was respectful and punctual but I will not hire them again.

CertaPro franchise from Miami , FLA was lousy . They left spaces not painted, forgot to paint under my window rim and never checked it, my back wall which the painter smeared some film to cover debris well he painted over debri making g it look like lumps which looked big . I got pictures prove it and when I complain to Owner of palmetto Certa he sided with the painter as if it was nothing and for$3,200.00 it was sloppy . That day the painter was in a hurry to go and never checked his work. When I complained to the franchise owner he looked as if it was nothing and not the painters fault. When I complained to CertaPro Headquarters ref the owner not calling back he did not like I complained but he sure lived my check. People take pictures before you ever have anyone do painting and make sure they call you back and not give excuses like this owner did. Itbashame he uses someone else's name of company cuz it makes them look bad. I truly have pictures to prove the shabby mess. I had to call a outside company to fix the wall his painter messed up. I learned my experience take pictures and stop a job once you see flags popping up.
