We just had our first service for our external Worcester Bosch oil combi boiler installed by Central last November.
We’ve had a year of trouble-free heating and hot water and have definitely seen an improvement in the quantity of oil we have used in a year, perfect timing considering the high oil prices towards the end of last winter. We were offered an excellent quote for a service plan for the boiler; happy as we were with the install there was no question we wanted Central to keep an eye on it.
Central did have to change the time of my service due to a van issue with the engineer but I had plenty of warning and it was still convenient.
Our service was done quickly and efficiently, he also checked my radiators as I’d mentioned I wasn’t sure if some of them were heating fully. He bled a few that needed it. We had a quick chat afterwards over a possible issue with our weather sensor. A very knowledgeable and interesting engineer to talk to, good to know he’s fairly local too in case we do have a breakdown.

This was our third year of boiler service from you, and from the phone call to your very efficient staff to the engineer who serviced our boiler we cannot fault Central Plumbing and Heating.We would not hesitate to recommend you.

Excellent communication both with Carl and via email re quote appointment etc. Arrived on time polite clean staff who didn't time waste but found time to explain anything we needed to know. Would definitely use the company again after previous experience with other trades.

Professional friendly service - highly recommend

Barratt new home, move in Dec 2021…..Down pipe separated from gutter outlet Sept 2022…. Down pipe cut to short but ‘plumber’ decided to glue it back anyway! Sept 2023 down pipe separated from gutter outlet again. After a couple of ‘No show’ visits from Central Plumbing and Heating they eventually came 11th October 2023. Sadly, this time the ‘plumber’ decided he would use self tapping screws to ‘fix’ the problem! I told him I did not want it screwed together but he went ahead and did it anyway. He told me afterwards that Barrett Homes should have put the down pipe down the front of the house and not the side of the house!
If it were possible I would not give this company a single star….

Having suffered a Ground Source Heat Pump issue ,the team at Central Plumbing & Heating swung into action and resolved the problem quickly and efficiently . The staff are well trained and industrious . I'm confident they know their subject and can solve all problems relating to plumbing and heating . The quotes for work are comprehensive and reasonably priced . The big bonus ?? They turn up on time and get the job done with minimum mess .Well done !10 /10

The team arrived on time; quickly diagnosed the fault with my immersion heater and set about draining my system, ahead of replacing it.
Given that this involved trailing hoses through the house, once they were done you wouldn’t know they had been.
Everything was left clean and tidy. Who ever heard of plumbers tidying up after themselves?

To say the experience was incident free would be wrong but things should be judged by the response to the situation. To this end, Claire, her team and engineer all performed to reconcile the the situation to my satisfaction so I will be staying with CPH for the foreseeable future.

Kept well informed about engineers arrival. Worked tidily to service the boiler and forwarded the paperwork promptly. Often difficult to get people to come when they say they will so very pleased with Central.

Have used this company for a few years now and they have always been good. We’ve had a new boiler fitted and serviced by them every year also various plumbing jobs. They keep you updated when they will be coming with text messages and emails. All the staff from the owner to the plumbers and admin staff treat us with courtesy, would highly recommend.

Central Plumbing are extremely professional. They’ve been at my place 4 times now sorting stuff out, including a complete central heating re-pipe. They do a great job, they turn up when they say they will, and all the people I’ve met from them are polite, friendly, professional, and they work. No sitting around drinking tea. Very impressed.

My engineer was very friendly and helpful and did her best to solve the problem. She gave me some useful advice.
