Exceptional service from start to finish

I cannot recommend Liam, Claire and the entire team at Vector Heat highly enough.

They began work at the end of the first week of January and completed the installation on 18 February. This was during an extremely stressful period in our lives. I had recently been made redundant, and we had moved several hundred miles to a new home that required complete refurbishment.

The property had an old oil-fired heating system, and all the heating, hot-water and cold-water services needed replacing. The Vector Heat team stripped out the complete oil-heating system, including disconnecting, removing and disposing of the 1,500-litre bunded oil tank. They then installed a new air source heat pump, together with completely new heating, hot-water and cold-water services throughout the property. They also fitted all our new sinks and sanitary ware.

This was a substantial project, but their professionalism, knowledge and organisation made the entire process feel effortless. Liam also arranged the full £7,500 government heating grant on our behalf, removing a great deal of paperwork and worry at a time when we already had more than enough to deal with.

The standard of workmanship and customer service was excellent, and the aftercare has been every bit as impressive. Any questions or issues have been dealt with promptly, and we have continued to feel fully supported since the installation was completed.

I do not normally write reviews, but this praise is thoroughly deserved. Liam, Claire and the Vector Heat team went above and beyond for us, and I would recommend their installation services and aftercare without hesitation.

My Father in-law had a new boiler fitted. The system kept getting air into the system and eventually stopped working. We called them up a number of times over Christmas but never came back. My father in-law is 86 and had no heating over Christmas.

Excellent advice and installation of our kitchen plinth heater. Such a fantastic idea and so well installed and looked after by Liam and Will! Fabulous service and company.

Boiler not working contacted Central Plumbing and Heating immediate reply and visit. Quoted and all fitted as stated so efficient and would recommend as a very professional and dedicated team of people.

My boiler started leaking just before Christmas and failed the emissions test meaning that it had to be condemned. I thought that Christmas would be ruined but incredibly Central Plumbing and Heating were able to install a replacement combi boiler the next day! I'm really grateful to Liam, Claire and Jason for their fantastic service. The turnaround time was stunning, they did a very professional job and kept me fully informed throughout the work. The price was also very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Received a visit same day as booking a repair through insurer. Thought the problem was fixed but by the evening it seemed not. Called Central Plumbing directly at 8am the next morning and explained the issue was ongoing. They were fully booked and whilst couldn't promise they would try to get someone out to me. Failing that I was looking at another day with no heating or hot water during -2 weather. Restoring my faith in tradesmen, an engineer arrived by lunchtime the same day. Fixed the new issue and my house is now toasty! Great service, great attitude to customer service and quick turnaround.

We had a new boiler fitted recently, cannot fault this service, when we accepted the quote it was booked in so fast, very decent price for sure! Installation was absolutely sound! Made sure it was all functional before leaving and cleaned up as they went. Our home feels so warm now and no noisy boiler!! Absolutely brilliant service!! We are on the maintenance contract with Central and really recommend this. Service is impeccable!!! Thank you all so much!!

There are few people that take the time to actually praise companies when they excel customers expectations, your lads that have been today were very considerate of our situation, very friendly didn't hang about or waste time, were very professional and had a great sense of humour to put us at ease.
The work they have done is far better than the original work done 30 years ago, Jack made sure it was done with perfection, he had so much pride in his work and your company he needs a special mention.

Liam and his team were impressive from start to finish. His approach was very professional in outlining the work required to fit an air source heat pump at our property. The survey was comprehensive and helped us understand everything that would happen. His team were prompt, hardworking and polite. The work was done more speedily than we'd imagined, but to a very high standard. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Efficient, honest, and sensibly priced

Around this time last year I took a plan out to cover my Boiler, heating & plumbing too with Central Plumbing & Heating of Lincoln. I phoned to book the service and was given an appointment. The office staff are very helpful too. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. I have LPG heating and the lads recently did an annual service on my boiler which is included in the price of the plan. I mentioned that the radiator in my bedroom was not getting very hot at all. Matt Beckett said he thought it needed a flush out and to call the office to get this done as a call out. On the day it wasn't Matt but Finn who actually came. Finn removed the radiator and cleaned it out with flushing it through. One radiator in the bathroom was loose and Finn sorted this for me too. Honestly these Gas Engineers at C P & H go the extra mile to ensure your system is up and running, working to its full capacity. Once the radiators were back on everything was tested and Finn ensured it was all working for me. For the first time in ages my bedroom is warm. The lads get on with the job and leave everything neat & tidy afterwards too. What really pleased me was the dedication and professionalism of the engineers. Boiler repairs dealt with quickly and efficiently. Would recommend. Excellent service.

I have used Central Plumbing and Heating on a few occasions. When I called I received a great service from their administration team and they booked me in at the earliest opportunity to fix my shower and toilet. Jack and Will came to the house and they were extremely knowledgable and explained everything in terms I could understand. I would certainly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

One of their team came to assess the work needing to be done. Without going in to detail, it's a lot of work so not a small job. Other quotes have been over £10k worth of work. It's been over 3 weeks now and I have called every week since to ask for the quote and every time I speak to a very apologetic woman who clearly has no influence over the person putting the quotes together because each time she's "so sorry. It shouldn't take this long to get a quote to you! Ill chase them up and it will be with you in a day or two". Don't waste your time organising and then waiting in for someone to come and assess the job because they cant even be bothered to put a quote together so I doubt very much they would be organised enough to turn up when they say they will or work within the cost boundaries of your project. We wanted the work doing ASAP so waiting for the final quote which never came has set our timeliness back a month. Obviously we will be going with a reliable company who communicates adequately, not these people.

The office team organised everything really easily and Finn, our plumber, did a great job at replacing a broken shower and figuring out and swiftly fixing various other plumbing issues in our old house. Relieved to have everything working again! Would recommend Finn and the team to anyone needing a reliable and effective plumber.
