Been using CDI for several years and…

Been using CDI for several years and they get only 3 stars because their stock is usually limited. They only have certain models with no interest in finding what you need. Also, the product is sometimes not in satisfactory condition. Instead of grade A condition, you will receive grade C at a premium price, product with a lot of scratches, dust, and missing parts. Customer service is also slow sometimes with you having to constantly send reminder emails.

Best customer service

It has been great to work with the folks at CDI Technologies. They always know the answers or where to get them for the products that they sell. They find the best discounts for my school hands down. And the customer service is amazing to work with. I highly recommend working with this company.

What a joke this company is!!!

What a joke this company is. Never ever buy from this company. Very poor customer service, shipped a garbage junked out desktop that’s was not even close to what I ordered. No response from them. They are a bunch of scammers. Do not buy from them. Products are junk company is junk customer services is junk. They should be put in jail. What a waste of my life dealing with these loser. I will be reporting them to BBB. Hate being scammed.

Unless you are prepared to be deceived…

Unless you are prepared to be deceived and robbed: Don’t buy from these people! The sales people are very good. They make the company sound very trustworthy and reliable. At first they delayed the order for approximately 10 days. The customer service/sales representative said he delayed it because he “didn’t like the quality of what they were sending me and he had ordered it to be replaced for another unit that was in better condition given that this was their first sale to our company.” That was an immediate red-flag for me since I would expect that EVERY unit they sell me is in great condition and not just the “paid sample” unit. However, I decided to give them a chance. BIG MISTAKE.

I had requested computers that looked “As New” and that had been throughly tested since my plan was to resell them after conditioning for top performance. .

When the paid sample laptop computer arrived it was an incredible disappointment: deep dents and scratches all over.

I immediately photographed and made the customer service/sales representative aware of this. His reply was that I was being “too picky.” That they sold “used computers like this all the time and that their customers never had a problem with the esthetics.

I was about to return it, but after doing some research on eBay I figured I could still resell it if I replaced the outer covers.

However, just in case I decided to run the default Dell scan available at the Dell support website. It turns out that the one of the 2 hard drives was also bad. It was reporting S.M.A.R.T. errors. This was the second red flag since this is the first thing any decent technician would test.

Well, to keep a long story short, despite having paid extra for their extended warranty when I purchased it, I have still not been able to get the problem solved. This has been going on since October 2018. To this date (late January 2019) I have yet to receive the promised refund or hard drive replacement.

It’s been a nightmare. I strongly, very emphatically advise you NOT TO BUY from this company.

I will update this if and when there is any final resolution. You have been warned.
