I regret for not choosing FedEx…

I regret for not choosing FedEx service.
I was told at the Canada Post office that the registered international service is offering quality delivery with tracking and signature confirmation. After I decided to purchase the delivery service and sent important original documents internationally, and all was lost. I had to order same paperwork and spent expensive costs. Only choose FedEx for international deliveries, Canada post is not trustable for international service.

Take the money and run...

Paid $250 to ship a box of personal items to Barbados. Three days later the box is returned in terrible condition with a note stating "non-mailable matter". No indication of what the item at fault is...could it be my electric toothbrush? All else is clothing, paper goods and exercise bands. Opened an investigation so that I can remove whatever needs to be removed and it will take them 3 weeks for CP to get back to me. Is CP short staffed? In the REAL world you cannot put customers on wait for 3 weeks. Where did my $250 go? Should have used FEDEX!!!

I had the 'pleasure' of using Canada's…

I had the 'pleasure' of using Canada's Post online customs form the other day... Who wrote this horrible interface? Had to re-enter the addresses I don't know how many times and when I took the QR code to the post office they couldn't read it.. no matter how they tried to scan it.
So we had to fill in the paper form....
Somebody should ask for a refund...

Canada post is the most pathetic pathetic place I have ever experienced they should be ashamed of yourselves it’s because they work for the pathetic Government they are so embarrassing I’m embarrassed to be Canadian when it comes to our government it took them seven days to get something from Edmonton to Calgary they’re so so pathetic out of 5000 reviews they have one out of five and they don’t do anything about it they’re losing money because they’re so incompetent and pathetic

shipping times are not even close to what they say itll be.

another topic, they have a huge issue with their snap ship labels and they dont even know they have an issue its mind blowing, i lost so much money, so many delays and what hurts me the most i lost my customers as well due to your errors canada post.

since you made me loose customers i will do the same, i will make sure you will loose customers as well starting from myself, i will get all my family and friends to start using other companies for shipping.

get treated like i’m incompetent on the phone, they stole my money

i got told by a man on the customer service team that i don’t understand how my own credit card works, they still have stolen my money for shipping labels i never got. i keep reaching out to customer service only to be referred in circles to the same people. shipping prices are through the roof and their service is slow at best, completely unreliable at worst. small businesses i suggest a company like chitchats for shipping, paying the pickup fee is worth it.

Overnight cost for snail mai service

I mailed a birthday card to my grandson in Okotoks AB and paid for overnight service of almost $17.00. It took six days to reach Okotoks AB from Portage la Prairie. So basically I Paid for overnight service and received regular snail mail. I will not be using this service again.

The staff are friendly BUT the hours…

The staff are friendly BUT the hours are horrible. Shuts down for lunch and closes to do system upgrades during business hours. This is something you find out after you drive there which isn’t just down the road. System upgrades should be done after hours and maybe considering doing a rotating lunch break.

Canada Post has bad practices and is a very dishonest government crown corporation. I continued to endure severe issues for over 3 years with my residential mail and the more I complained, or spoke out about it, the worse the treatment got towards me. They need to be held accountable for the bad decisions they make by putting people's personal information and safety at risk. Going forward, I try my best to have Canada Post not handle anything, but sadly in Canada, we don't have the option of choosing our primary mail services so it still somehow funnels through the hands of Canada Post. Our government needs to look closely at this service and make major changes.

I honestly hate Canada post

I honestly hate Canada post, I literally could not hate it more than I do. No other delivery service tells me one day and on the day it’s suppose to arrive they change it, honestly if I never ever had to deal with Canada post again I wouldn’t, the service is awful the delivery times are crap, I couldn’t be more pissed off with this. I will avoid at all costs ever having to go through them ever again

Rude monkey employee

I went to send in my college application in belleville ontario at the college street location. My mom had wanted to come in with me, and she started speaking for me. The man at the counter referred to me saying "you're a big girl you can answer for yourself". Being completely caught off guard i laughed and answered him. I should have complained right there. This man didnt know me at all. Im suprised he was hired as unintelligent and horrid as he is. He clearly didnt have a goodupbringing the way he spoke to me. Im very concerned about how they train their employees. No common decency or respect at all. God forbid a disabled person or someone with a learning disability go in here.

Worlds better than Intelcom

You know what, they are far from perfect but they are worlds better than Intelcom. At least with Canada post I get my darned packages. My new condo complex has oversized mail boxes specifically for Canada post packages and a key system. They always drop my (non-large/oversized) packages in one of the oversized locked mailboxes and drop the key in my mail slot. I can trust them to do this reliably unlike Amazon's crappy Intelcom service who makes up fake info about leaving my package (they never buzz me which is required to get into the building to leave the package, even though my buzzer rings to my cell phone and I'm home 98% of the time--disabled). And, even during the pandemic I always got my mail from Canada Post (CP), usually at most a week behind even in the worst of covid nonsense which is pretty darned good for pandemic chaos mail. My prime packages mostly still arrive on time even or only one day behind... seriously, this is the single best way to get mail during this whole covid nonsense (for disabled people who cant drive rely on delivery, it is not just a convince).
For a little while I had an issue at my old place with not getting rung when a larger parcel arrived, I called them and made a note on my file that I'm disabled and can't drive therefore they need to ring me please, and from that point on they always always rung me. In return for this kindness I created "No junkmail, no neighborhood mail" stickers with a red dot on them (CP has a red dot program most people aren't aware of, so no unadressed mail comes to your box anymore). Made these for my whole building and my CP "postie" was super happy and said it made his life much easier.

Our whole building was happier too, we never got junkmail and always got rung when we got packages (which we massively appreciate). So, Canada Post in my book is a much better and more reliable service than some couriers!!! (I'd looking at you Intelcom).

Seriously read my Intelcom review, that service is absolutely horrible. Never had any significant problem with Canada post, sometimes I think people just don't have their priorities or expectations straight, or they had one bad delivery person/place and didn’t elevate it to Canada Post. Can happen in any service, do your due diligence and everything is fine.

0 Stars!!! CP held a Christmas Card for 2 months then returned it as 'Undeliverable - Incorrect Address' and upon inspection, they had crossed off half of a valid postal code and then returned the card. They had no problem delivering the card for several prior years (same address label). When I request a refund for the stamp (I had to deliver the card myself, 3 months late) the fellow who answered the phone said 'sure' but then management emails to say they have done everything to fix the problem and the complaint is closed. WHAT did they do??? Nothing! And they now ignore my emails. Is it a wonder CP is having problems??? NO SERVICE, NO RESPECT, NO STARS!!

I have been dealing with the Dorchester…

I have been dealing with the Dorchester Ontario Canada Post office for over seven years. I am continually disappointed and frustrated with their customer service. I have the experience of being unwelcome and that I am inconveniencing them. I had operated an online store and refused to provide this location with my business because of these experiences with them. Even now, when I have moved away from the area and attempted to contact a friend, my package was extremely late and the postal staff held the item from my friend without her knowledge. I recommend doing business elsewhere to anyone in the area.

ULTIMATE FAILURES!!!!!!!

So Canada Post has proved to be the biggest failure of a postal service ever!!!!! I have had 5 pkgs all arrive through 5 different couriers in Halifax on the 31st of March.....all sent overnight delivery.....GUESS WHICH FAILURE OF A COMPANY CAN'T GET A PARCEL FROM HALIFAX TO PORTERS LAKE IN 1 DAY LIKE EVERY OTHER BLOODY COMAPNY OUT THERE!!!!!! YES....CANADA POST.....THE WORST POSTAL DELIVERY COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! The tracking number is telling me it won't be delivered until the 8th of April.....SO MUCH FOR OVER NIGHT DELIVERY!!!!! I WILL ENSURE THE COMPANY THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED FROM GETS A FULL REFUND OF THE DELIVERY COSTS!!!!!! AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE SMART ENOUGH TO DROP CANADA POST FROM ITS LIST OF COURIERS!!!!!

Canada Post is a pure catastrophy

Canada Post is a pure catastrophy! They did not accept parcels from Europe in December 2020 and a letter came back to Austria end of Decembet 2020 with the remark "currently no service". It seems they believe the pandemic could be transferred by paper mail! Stupid and unbelievable! I would like to talk with the CEO because I assume, they are just LAZY!

It’s pretty obvious parcels are being stolen at your Mississauga facility so stop using Covid and the holiday as an excuse for your incompetence! never had an issue with other couriers just Canada post!!!! how can you have packages sitting at your facility for over 3weeks!!! THE WORST!
