Anna for Nat 5 physics tuition for my daughter has been really great. Very patient, reliable and good at explaining things. Has given my daughter more confidence going into the exam.

My daughter had 1:1 support and tuition from Ivy for application of maths and from Sarah for English. Both tutors were fantastic . They broke everything down to make it easier for my daughter to understand and really took time to get to know her and understand areas she was struggling with. After a disappointing experience with a study centre, we decided to try Caledonia Tutors to support my son through his Nat 5s after disappointing results on his prelims. We have been so pleased with the positive change in our son since starting with Caledonia Tutors. Rory Duffy has been particularly helpful in building up my son's confidence in physics - so much so, my son has now changed his Highers choice to physics! We've also been pleased with the targeted support he received from Mary for biology and, in recent months, from Karan for maths.

My daughter used Caledonia tutors to help with her higher human biology studies on the run up to her final exams and she found her tutor Millie to be very engaging, friendly and well organised. This year we’ve had Ubaida as a maths tutor for both my daughter at Advanced Higher maths level and my son sitting his Nat 5’s. Ubaida has truly been exceptional for both needs. He’s equally professional and friendly and tracks exactly what each student needs to fully understand and work on. He gives updates and feedback and was always available for communication. His explanations of the work has, according to my kids, been very easy to understand and entirely stress free! Both my kids truly enjoyed their sessions with Ubaida on every level. He’s organised and his lessons well planned and coordinated. He’s a fabulous asset to Caledonian Tutors and you’d be lucky to have your child placed with him!

Grace was an amazing tutor, really supported my daughter to not only increase her Nat 5 Maths grade but develop confidence in the subject. She was so relaxed before the exam!Grace was excellent at being flexible on the odd occasion we couldn't make the agreed time.

My daughter got biology tutoring from Ananya. The whole process was effortless and efficient. Ananya was a fantastic tutor and my daughter certainly benefited hugely from her support. My son has been receiving support from Ubaida for around a year now. He moved schools with very little interest in Maths, Physics, or studying in general. Caledonian Tuition helped a lot with his motivation and confidence.

He did well with his prelims, and it looks like he felt comfortable and prepared for his Maths exam. Ubaida was excellent throughout — he regularly shared updates on my son’s progress and explained what he needed to work on more by himself.

Excellent Tutors
My teenage children have had three different tutors and they have all been excellent and very good value.

Caledonia tutors were a fantastic resource to us for advanced higher chemistry. Caitlin, our tutor, was excellent, well-matched and brilliant at explaining difficult concepts.
The local nature and understanding of the Scottish qualifications system was also key to our selection.

The tutors we had, Ben and Rachel, were very knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. My twins enjoyed their lessons and felt much more confident for their exams. My daughter has never felt confident with maths before and left her exam feeling it went very well. My son also made great progress during his time with Ben and Rachel. I would highly recommend them. The process was very easy and communication was very good.
