Poor quality build

I spoke to Holly at Caledonian Windows who said Mr Middleton would call me, that was in September, its now two months nearly later and no call. This company really don't care about the standard of my build and that something is wrong with it. They also never cared about the leaking roof which has been constant every time it rains. I wish I had never contracted this company because they were not fit to build my conservatory. They have had plenty of time.
Update and reply to Caledonian's reply received 24/09/2024. It is an unsatisfactory response. You say to contact you but you are nameless it seems. Thanks though for actually replying at last. This type of problem with a build cannot be seen until some time after the build, and it needs addressing, as I am assured that the issue can only occur if a mistake was made with the build and I was hoping you might actually be concerned about this. Yes you came back repeatedly to deal with the leaks but you never resolved them and we get flooding on the conservatory floor regularly when it rains and just visiting to fix the issue which has been there since the build was finished does not mean its ok for you to leave the the conservatory leaking, and in fact Mr Middleton refused on more than one occasion to sort out the problem because we had withheld part of the balance as we are legally entitled to do if the results are unsatisfactory, he wanted that first and there was no doubt in my mind that he would not have fixed the leak after being paid the balance which is why i refused to pay it until I had a satisfactory outcome and there has never been one. The other problem that has revealed itself is something which is caused by an error in the construction and you should be seriously concerned about it, and come out to see it instead of being so unconcerned. What does a customer have to do to get you to come out? Also you withheld the guarantees which I believe was illegal possibly.

Conservatory build far from satisfactory, built in 2015. Leaks constantly. Now a window is buckling and we have been told that the weight of the roof has been placed over the window and not on a support and that the build is faulty. This is probably the cause of the leaks as the roof is slowly shifting. We didn't realise the window was buckling until a professional came here on another project in the house and pointed it out. We held back part of the balance because of the leaks, as entitled to do by law, but they have never fixed them and we never got our guarantee. I am going to contact them if I can but getting any response proved very difficult in the past. I know that the owner will probably rubbish me the customer as I have seen him do on other reviews, Tom I suggest you do something about this, rather than misrepresent us. I will see if they are going to do anything to remediate what is a now a dangerous result of a poor build. If I get a satisfactory result I will update my review. If I don't I will be pursuing it further.
I will give you further details if you agree not to ignore me as I have already contacted you about this and been ignored. So look through your emails for a complaint and you will find it. If you can't let me know here. Why has it taken you a year to respond to this review and a year of ignoring what is a dangerous situation which you were told about in my email. You have all my details in that email but as usual you just ignored it. I will resend the email and I hope you will take the problem seriously and do something to rectify it because this problem was caused by a faulty construction.

Dear Mr Tom Middleton
Further to the building of our conservatory by Caledonian windows. We have experienced consistent leaks in one place after another since the build and we now know the cause, it is serious and possibly dangerous and is due to a faulty installation or an issue with the architectural design. This needs to be looked at with urgency by yourselves and immediate work carried out to rectify the problem. Yes we held back 10% of the balance as is our legal right to do when the results are not satisfactory, and with so many leaks, the result could not possibly fit the term of 'satisfactory outcome' and this would have been paid if you had given us a satisfactory outcome and had not done work against our express wishes. None of that absolves you of the responsibility to provide a sound and safe leak proof conservatory and sadly it is also now dangerous according to three experts in this field of work with the fault being with the installation or design.
Please arrange to visit within 14 working days of this email so they you can see for yourself what is happening. Please treat this with the utmost and urgent concern.
