Absolutely do not order from this company. Poor customer service. I made a purchase on November 12 today is December 31, and I’ve still yet to receive it. Also beware that it is not made extremely obvious that international customers will have to pay a custom fee or duty fee. I have ordered many things from international companies, and I have never had to pay after my original purchase for a duty fee. It was usually already included in my purchase. Again, do not order from this company.

We emailed all the customers who ordered from November 10th and on , that we had to remake some of our products due to QC issues. Im unsure if you got it, otherwise your products have already been shipped out please let us know if you get it or not. We apologize for the delay and miscommunication. We pride ourselves on good customer support and products.

Purchased pants November 8, 2025 and still have not received my item. I was made aware there would be delays and my order would ship out December 19, 2025. Order has not shipped and customer service is no longer answering my emails.

Don't waste your money and time

Hey Justin! We apologize for the delay, your products have already been shipped out. The reason it was so delayed was because of a QC issue with the fabric we were not happy and had to remake the products to ensure quality was there.
Thin and cheap
Super thin material feels cheap. Almost like a pyjama top. Extremely stretched. Doesn’t look like the pictures and not worth the price unfortunately

SCAM - DO NOT BUY
This brand is a total scam. They took almost 2 months to ship my order. And for a longsleeve that was worth $90, I would expect the material to be alot thicker. The stuff they make their clothes with is thinner than temu material. I wish I never bought from them and when I emailed them all they said was that they could give me 10% off a purchase that has to be over $100. What the f is up with that? Also they will delete bad comments on their instagram and tik tok pages and block you so I had to go here to warn people. Please do not buy from this scammer.

I'm sorry the fabric didn't meet your expectations. It can be difficult to gauge thickness and texture from photos alone, and I understand how frustrating that can be. If you'd like a refund, we're happy to take care of that for you right away.
Regarding the Instagram comments you may have seen, we experienced some fulfillment delays due to an overwhelming response during Black Friday, and we're actively working through those orders now. The 10% off was simply our way of saying thank you, not a reflection of any larger issue.
A bit of background: we've been in business for over a decade under our previous brand, Kollar, where we built a strong reputation for quality. We recently rebranded to bydavidkollar, and while we're still refining some processes, our commitment to quality, fit, and taking care of our customers remains the same.

Worst customer service I have ever…
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. It has been 31 days and counting and my purchase has not shipped. I was told it would ship out December 9th and a long sorry spill about being so busy and when reaching out on December 11th for a good tracking number I was given a dry email that stated it hasn’t shipped and I will get one when it does. I ordered this back on November 10th. A full refund would be the least you could do- but by the looks of your reviews- this company is consistently letting people down.

Deceptive shipping and return practices. Be warned. Additional communication to try to resolve this has not been successful, despite their reply stating they would happily fix any issue. This company continues to not provide timely responses for customer satisfaction, have deceptive shipping fees, extended times for items to be shipped, and an impossible return policy. In addition to their deceptive actions around US Tariffs.

Regarding shipping, we typically ship orders within 4 to 5 business days.
However, items from The Layers Collection have a 10 to 15 day lead time as we were sold out and restocking, which was noted on the website at the time of purchase. For our main collection, we did have some items that were accidentally oversold, and we've since corrected that issue.
All remaining orders should be shipping no later than December 17 to 25.
As for returns, our policy is 14 day returns on unworn products. If there's something specific that felt unclear or deceptive, I'd genuinely like to understand so we can improve how we communicate this information.
We pride ourselves on being a brand you can trust, both in terms of customer service and product quality, so it's important to us that we make this right.

The WORST customer experience of my life, MAJOR product delays. NEVER coming back here.
Final Update (Jan 8th):
1 out 2 packages arrived, again much later than indicated in emails, and below in their own comments. Reached me on Jan 3rd, other package hasn't left their warehouse yet (i know this through the tracking).
The package never shipped on 23rd December as mentioned below in their reply, and it was again, only after me following up incessantly did I get one of the two moving. I have email dates, and photos to prove everything I'm talking about.
I'm never one to go to such extremities to make a point, but this has been hands down the worst customer experience of my life. I would give this ZERO stars, if there was that option.
Save yourself the hassle, go to All Saints, Zara, Abercrombie, and if you want luxury goods, SSense is an option.
Disheartened by this whole thing. More people need to see this.

Awful customer service. Products not worth the money or hassle
The brand is very hit or miss. I've bought stuff from them over the years, but have been left disappointed with the quality of certain products.
For ex: I bought two pairs of jeans, which started to rip up after barely 2 years of use. One had a hole in the back pocket, and the threads from the other started to unravel.
You can buy a pair with the same material from Diesel or Levis for a fraction of the price and it will last you a lifetime.
More recently, I've had huge trouble with the customer service and communication.
Their recent promo was initially said to ship on the 31st of October. They changed it to Nov 10-14 blaming it on a "typo", and then Nov 27 with no notice.
I haven't received any word back to my emails for updates. Considering their MO as a "luxury" brand, I'd expect the basics when it comes to customer service if nothing else.
Even if the products I (eventually) receive are the best shirts i've ever worn, I'm likely never going back to using this brand, as it's not worth the hassle and $ I spend on it.
UPDATE: It's been 2 months(!!!!) since my original order was placed (Oct 20th). I still havent recieved it.
I was told they'd arrive by the 17th of December, and then 23rd of December. The days went by with no communication on their end again.
At this point I dont even know if they'll ever arrive, and am in state of disbelief as to how a company can operate like this.

As for the recent shipping delays and communication, you're absolutely right to be frustrated. During Black Friday, we experienced a surge of orders that caused some items to sell out, and unfortunately our inventory didn't update properly on the website.
This led to a lot of unexpected delays, and we take full responsibility for that. If your order hasn't arrived yet, all remaining shipments should be delivered no later than December 17 to 25, as we've now restocked those items and are shipping them out as quickly as possible.
We're also aware that emails were missed during this time, and we're actually in the process of replacing our customer service team to ensure faster and more reliable responses going forward.

Had to pay tariff fees that ARE NEVER MENTIONED ANYWHERE-an additional $40 dollars! For a T SHIRT!!
Plus I had to follow up several times on the order.

Regarding the tariff fees, I completely understand how frustrating it is to be surprised by additional costs. Unfortunately, due to recent tariff increases, customs and duty fees are now being applied to international shipments, and this has become standard practice across most brands shipping internationally.
These fees are charged by your country's customs agency upon delivery, not by us directly, which is why they aren't included in your checkout total. While we do have a note during checkout that duties may apply, I completely understand that it's easy to miss, and I'm sorry it caught you off guard.
We're looking into ways to make this even clearer on our website so customers know exactly what to expect before ordering.
As for the follow ups on your order, I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication. We experienced a surge of orders during Black Friday that put us behind, and some emails were missed as a result.

Never had so many compliment for a fit in my life. Their cowboy inspired cap is legendary. The fit of it is what I think sets it apart. Well done to the team that designed it. I'd say you've beaten New Era on that one. My small qualm is that delivery was expensive as I live in the UK.
